    ✠ I'm not one to make the call here but generally if I see someone with something that looks like this, it's not going to give me a warm fuzzy feeling.     Hello. The code to create the supposed "iron cross" is the "maltese". It is available in Unicode as ✠. I have no intention to use ✠ as "iron cross" or other Nazi symbols. I used the ✠ symbol as it looks Christian and quite martial to me. In fact, the ✠ symbol is still being used by the Wehrmacht today, showing that ✠ is not a symbol for Nazism anymore. I am quite sure if ✠ is the symbol of Nazism the Germans would be the first to remove them from usage. I am not a supporter of Nazism. Thank you. SunDawn (talk) 01:40, 28 May 2025 (UTC)

2025 India–Pakistan conflict

I would like to request that The neutral source mentioned in casualities and losses on Indian side isn't credible enough, the author seems to b referring to Pakistan's initial claims of 5 indian aircrafts shot down which has been challenged around globe due to lack of evidence. Other sources like Washington post and Reuters claims atleast 2 indian jets shot down which is in line with the wider neutral international narrative and evidence present. Elon Musk

I want to create a new article or subtopic, labelled, "History of Fraud". The reason that I want to do this, is because according to the legal definition of securities fraud, Elon Musk has done exactly that. For example, the 420 funding secured tweet, met the threshold for securities fraud per the Federal Judge overseeing the trial: "No reasonable jury could find that Mr. Musk did not act recklessly given his clear knowledge of the discussions," the judge added. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/court-says-musk-recklessly-tweeted-that-funding-secured-taking-tesla-private-2022-05-11/

The entire reason that the 420 funding secured tweet was made, was for one purpose. To cause short sellers to lose money. Elon Musk had been threatening them for literally months. When he did that, short sellers lost billions of dollars. The only way to manipulate the stock price was to make a knowingly false statement, and Tesla at the time was about 6 weeks from bankruptcy unless they ramped the Model 3.

None of this is documented in his wikipedia page - in fact, the 420 tweet is a literal footnote. For example, saying every single year "I really believe that later this year we'll have Full Self Driving robotaxis" to pump a stock price and keep it elevated is securities fraud. Why does he do this? If tesla has an elevated stock price, he can pay people with stock because the company itself has no cash flows. the Q4 2023 increase in net income was fraud. Recklessness does not equate to fraud (which has to be deliberate), and it is not our place to impute motive where others have declined to do so. I just reviewed and cheerfully accepted almost a dozen perfectly-formulated articles on Zoroastrian texts, and they have made more than 25 overall. Looking at their talk page, this appears to be an experienced and effective editor. Checking their AfD stats, I find one (successful) AfD that they initiated, indicating an awareness of notability. (Non-administrator comment) At the pace this editor is creating, I would expect granting the flag to help reduce the backlog. These are solid articles; talk pages are created, which helps as well. I am AGF'ing on the Burmese language sources but have no concerns. @Hteiktinhein, a couple nits: on Padein Prince rebellion, the section of "Members" with an unexplained bulleted list is a bit confusing, and on Thetpan Mibaya, the "see also" section should go above the references section per MOS:LAYOUT. More concerning, it seems some of the paragraphs in Areindama do not have citations. Could you commit to using inline citations for each paragraph?

@Femke 🐦, Thank you for your question. Of course, မြန်မာသံတော်ဆင့် (The Myanmar Herald) was a well-known and one of the oldest daily newspapers in Myanmar. I admit that some Myanmar newspapers have poor-quality digital publishing, which is partly due to the country being a developing nation.
I understand that the website for The Myanmar Herald (https://myanmartandawsint.wordpress.com/) has a poor design and uses a free domain like WordPress. While the site has not been updated in a long time, it is still accessible. I'd also like to refer to this Myanmar Now article ([2]) for more details about the newspaper’s history and its legacy. However, I believe that using a free domain or having a simple web design does not mean the newspaper itself is not notable or reliable. We should not judge the reliability of a publication solely based on its web domain or appearance. So I don’t think that’s a valid concern.
As for your other question — “It seems some of the paragraphs in the Areindama article do not have citations” — that's correct. I didn’t include citations in certain paragraphs:
The introduction, because it is a summary.
The quote paragraphs, because I didn’t want to insert citation tags (like [ ]) directly beside quotes. Instead, I placed a colon (":") above the quote to indicate the source was referenced in the sentence above.
The analysis paragraph, because it is a general analysis based on facts already cited earlier in the article.
If you’d like to verify anything, please feel free to ask other respected Burmese editors such as User:Htanaungg or User:EmeraldRange.

Regarding the reference for the analysis section, please see Tin Naing Toe (2013), သမိုင်းအတွေး သမိုင်းအရေး, Lin Lun Khine, pp. 34–41, which was already cited in the origin section. According to the first half of page 41, historian Tin Naing Toe discusses the origin of the spear and argues that it is based on legend rather than historical fact. I believed that citing it in the origin section would suffice and unintentionally left it out of the analysis paragraph. I’ve now added it there as well, along with an additional reference for support.

Those don't look like the sort of changes AWB can be used to make. AWB does have a regex-based typo fixing tool, but those aren't the sort of typos it fixes but instead grammar changes requiring human judgement. And one of them is done with another script, which makes even less sense to showcase as something you would use AWB to do.  Not done There's not really an objective criteria by which EC is regranted after being revoked. Because it's not feasible to calculate which edits at the point of revocation were the result of alleged gaming and which were not, it would be easiest to simply assume all pre-revocation edits were allegedly gamed and all post-revocation edits were legitimate. Ergo, I feel safe in declining this request but I also feel safe in suggesting it can be regranted without much issue once the edit count reaches 1099 (599, the point at which the previous report was filed + 500), the 30-days threshold having already been met. They began here and ended here, taking place over the span of about 4 days, and constituting about 380 edits. They did not occur before or after this time frame. As such, I think it is fairly easy to sort out those edits, which if you look at the discussions pertaining to the removal of my rights in the first place, those are in fact the edits in question. In the future, the WP:SALTing needs to be removed (via asking the protecting admin on their user talk, or via WP:RFUP) rather than putting an article at a non-ideal title. The title is non ideal because "(company)" is an unnecessary disambiguator in this case. I want to have this permission to reduce the pending changes backlog. I reviewed all the guidelines, such as BLP and the guideline for referencing. I revert good faiths and obvious vandalism and warn the user right after. Although I cannot perform a rollback to the recent changes page to have a consecutive track record due to my device's limited capabilities. I would rather choose pending changes over rollback; with rollback, I must have track records of mass rollback vandalism. I am aware, but as I said in the previous request, I have had an account with over a year experience. The reason I could not access that is because I forgot the username and password. Also, my edits have never been reverted except when I was linking some words that were "common"; I have also like suggested in the last request reviewed recent changes for some more time.
