User:Supreme Rankling

I have lost access to my original accounts, User:Linkin Prankster and User:Roman Reigns Fanboy. Wikimedia asked me to enter a verification code it sent to my account yesterday, something it never did before. Unfortunately I don't remember the email addresses I used to register those accounts and now I'm unable to recover them

I talked to admins at WP:AN#Lost access to all my account and they suggested that I try requesting extended confirmed rights here. I request that you grant me the permission so I can go back to editing articles requiring EC level permissions I could normally, instead of having to wait a month for it.

Supreme Rankling -- This is a relatively low-risk right to extend to a single user, as its utility is primarily in mass application. Ergo, I have no problem granting this to your new account on an accelerated basis with only minor precaution.
  • Once you're WP:Autoconfirmed, which will occur about June 2, please ping me in this thread. Assuming neither of the aforementioned accounts have edited by that point (and assuming neither have replied to the emails I'll send them), I'll then grant you Extended Confirmed for 45 days which will be long enough for you to naturally reacquire the right at your previous editing cadence.
  • This account (Supreme Ranking) will be indefinitely blocked if either User:Linkin Prankster or User:Roman Reigns Fanboy become active during that period so please take care to ensure you have completely abandoned those accounts and don't have any autosaved passwords on your device(s).

I mostly edit articles with EC-level ranking. Especially Israel-Palestine conflict related. I have no problem in other accounts being blocked User:Chetsford. Supreme Rankling (talk) 11:59, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, to clarify, I mean if Linkin Prankster or Roman Reigns Fanboy come online we'll have to block Supreme Rankling (not Linkin Prankster or Roman Reigns). So just make sure you don't have any autofill passwords for either of those accounts on your devices. In any case, please ping me on or after June 2 and I'll add EC to your account as per above. Sounds good - it initially sounded like you were going to do a temporary grant then allow the automatic grant to occur (which wouldn't actually work due to how EC is configured). Seems like you have a plan though :) stwalkerster (talk) 17:00, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
