Good job writing this article. I have a couple of suggestions: In most of the article, specifically the sections "Etymology and Origins", "Mythology", "Cultural Significance" and "Connection with the Kumari" you have used websites or newspapers as your sources. The subject of the article is more academic, so it would be better to use physical books or online sources which can be found in Google Books or through The Wikipedia Library.

The section "Cultural Significance" needs to be written in encyclopedic tone. Don't use AI or other LLM tools, use your own words.

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
