Autopatrolled
Hello, I am requesting Autopatrolled rights in order to reduce the backlog of articles awaiting review. I primarily create new articles on politics and law with a focus on biographies of notable individuals. I ensure that the content I add are verifiable and the articles comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. My previous request was declined in March 2025. Since then, I have strived to improve the quality of my contributions and have made substantial improvements to several existing ones, upgrading them to B-grade, e.g., [1], [2] and [3]. Regards. QEnigma 论 03:46, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello! I formally request the autopatrolled user right. I'm a regular user of Wikipedia, both in English and Spanish, and I consider that, after so many years and hundreds of articles created on both wikis, i am in the position to say that I know the rules and styles. I've never cared much about user rights, but now that I've started a personal project (ambassadors of Spain and all its lists) to expand diplomatic information about my country, Spain, I'd like to avoid the workload that comes with reviewing articles that comply with our rules. Thank you. TheRichic
Hello! I formally request the Autopatrolled user right. I'm a regular user of Wikipedia, both in Turkish and English. I have contributed to the Turkish Wikipedia, particularly on the Tao-Klarjeti region. I have also started to transfer these contributions to the English Wikipedia. I think it would be good to reduce the workload involved in reviewing the items I have written. Thank you. --ႧႤႧႰႨ ႾႠႰႨ (talk) 15:32, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
I have been editing Wikipedia since 2006, have created numerous new articles, edited countless others, and am very familiar with its policies. Λeternus (talk) 12:46, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
I've periodically patrolled Michelangelo1992's articles, and consistently found them to be in good shape. Focused on books as a topic area and very clear familiarity with WP:NBOOK. He's created 135 articles. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 22:56, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
Have been creating several new articles recently, and I understand the policies and guidelines behind articles. BenTanXiaoMing (talk) 20:45, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi. I was granted a temporary autopatrolled rights which is going to be expired on 15 November. I didn't create any articles within this period but improve some articles and plan to create or expand more. I request to make it permanent, If I meet the criteria. Thank You! Hi, I have a deep passion for helping others and a like to help communities like Wikipedia, (previously moderated on twitch and mad multiple discord places and instances). this role would help me help others out and give active help to others in the community. if this is the wrong place/ wrong permissions to be requesting could someone guide me to the correct one (there is alot of pages for permissions) JG qwerty (talk) 00:07, 7 November 2025 (UTC) JG qwerty (talk) 00:07, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
I teach fairly regularly with Wikipedia in a university in the UK. I have run a few outreach programmes with students over the past few years, training up new editors, and hope to do more in future. You can see the dashboard stats here. https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/users/Charleslincolnshire It'd be useful to be able to be able to confirm users, since this is occasionally a nuisance. New page reviewer
I'm not hunting for the New Page Reviewer right, but I'm confident that if or when I have it, I'll make a real difference in helping reduce the huge New Pages backlog... I’m a fast learner and actively participate in multiple (multitask) areas of maintenance work. Most of my contributions focus on anti-vandalism, using AutoWikiBrowser (AWB) for cleanup, adding or removing maintenance tags, copyediting, correcting categories & fixing bare URLs. I have also participated in Good Article reviews, WP:AfD discussions and the New Pages Feed. Am familiar with our core content policies especially verifiability WP:V, No Original Research WP:NOR, Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV, reliable sourcing WP:RS, Biographies of Living Persons WP:BLP, notability WP:N and What Wikipedia Is Not WP:NOT and am confident applying them when reviewing pages. My goal as a New Page Reviewer is to help reduce the backlog while ensuring that new articles meet Wikipedia's standards for quality and notability and also to support good-faith new editors along the way. Thank you in advance. ThilioR O B O T🤖 talk 06:05, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
I would like to renew my expired one month trial run. I still believe I have a good understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines and a good record. SpragueThomsontalk 17:50, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
I would like to have NPP rights mostly to patrol redirects. As background, I have written a number of articles and also created a number of redirects. I would mostly use this to patrol redirects. I am fairly active at WP:RfD. I am rarely active at AfD and would not use this to patrol articles unless they are fairly obvious as to what to do with them (bright-line either passes or fails), just to reduce the backlog. Casablanca 🪨(T) 02:41, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
I want to help reduce the New Pages Feed backlog as a new page reviewer and will not review my own articles. My contributions and interests (mainly related to Japanese religions) are very similar to those of @Komitsuki: who also recently applied here last week; I have helped fix his some of articles and many other articles to fit WP:MOS guidelines. I'm a native English speaker who also knows Japanese and am very detail-oriented. I will be happy with a trial period and will try to get more AfD experience. Also, I understand this is a learning process that I am happy to carefully participate in. Thank you for considering my request. Yenistardom (talk) 19:06, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
I work on improving new pages by adding categories, short descriptions, and making small fixes wherever needed. I’d like to take a more active role in reviewing new pages to ensure quality and help clear the backlog. I’m familiar with basic notability, sourcing, and deletion guidelines. Kirokeer (talk) 17:52, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
I've been active in reviewing AfC drafts and occasionally check the new page queue as well. I also have two good articles and I'm working on writing an article right now, and I believe I can help with the NPP backlog. Z E T A3 15:12, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
I've had probationary patroller rights for a month now and I've been enjoying helping with the NPP backlog and participating in AfC. I'd like to request my patroller right be extended. Thanks! SnowyRiver28 (talk) 23:21, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
I am interested in contributing constructively to Wikipedia and making knowledge and information accessible. I have been editing and creating new pages for the past one and a half year. Now I am looking forward to gaining the rights to review new articles, so as to make them available to the public. Requesting you to grant me the above mentioned rights, so that I can contribute. Thank you IND123456 (talk) 10:05, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
I routinely evaluate new articles for policy compliance and have participated in deletion-related processes. I am familiar with WP:GNG, WP:V, and deletion policies. I want to contribute by reviewing new articles, removing problematic content, and assisting new users in improving their pages. Morekar (talk) 13:55, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
Reason for requesting new page reviewer rights I have expertise in many areas (Chemistry+) with huge article backlogs. I also have access to expensive databases, such as Scopus and SciFinder, that I can use to verify and add new references. I am multilingual too, so I can provide expertise on some articles outside of the Anglosphere. ApoieRacional (talk) 23:17, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
I participated in the most recent backlog drive and enjoyed the work so I'd like to request an extended trial period to see if I enjoy reviewing new pages when added to my more standard wiki workflow (ie. without the goals of a backlog drive). Not sure if an extended trial is 3 or 6 months but I think either would work well. Sariel Xilo (talk) 15:47, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
I am interested in being granted the new page reviewer right. I have an extensive history of editing on Wikipedia, having created over two dozen well-sourced articles on a variety of topics, as well as expanding and improving stubs and starts to C class at least. I also regularly review citations to verify them when it seems appropriate, including recently acquiring an EPUB edition of a book for one article. I have come upon a few articles recently that havent been reviewed yet, and it would be useful to help get those squared away. I frequently work with other editors to develop a consensus where everyone is satisfied, particularly but not only in contentious areas. And I enjoy helping to guide newer users on how to construct a good quality article. I am also deeply anti-LLM so I will be on the lookout for such junk. With this right, I would continue to verify and improve citations, etc. Sadly, there is a seemingly limitless supply of poorly cited legacy and newer articles. ← Metallurgist (talk) 22:40, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
I've been patrolling recent changes for quite a while, and I have familiarity with the AfD and speedy deletion process, having speedy deleted a couple of pages. I'd like NPP rights so I can reduce the current ever-increasing new page backlog. Thanks in advance. monkeysmashingkeyboards (talk) 22:42, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
Given the articles I have created/contributed to on Wikipedia, I would like to have access to review new articles, and believe I could contribute to expanding the new articles, finding citations, fixing tone, etc. KyleSirTalksAlot (talk) 04:44, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
Reason for requesting new page reviewer rights: I am a retired person and I enjoy my time editing on Wikipedia and I like to be a reviewer of new page to contribute more. GreenRedFlag (talk) 18:19, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
I'd like to review new pages. The backlog is too damn long! – Closed Limelike Curves (talk) 02:55, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
I have been editing for quite a while now, and I have also worked on many new articles, including Stubs. I was recently also granted the right to review pending changes. Pending changes reviewer
I'd like reviewer rights so I can help with pending changes and speed up the review process. Inu06 (talk) 07:19, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
I have been reverting spam and vandalism on Special:RecentChanges, and I'd like pending changes reviewer to review pending edits as they show up there. Yerlo (talk) 14:53, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
I've been editing Wikipedia for about 7 months now, and made just under 500 edits. While sometimes I make mistakes, I learn from them and try to be as understanding as possible. I've merged one article, and recently split several. I think this permission would help me improve Wikipedia, and help take some pressure of other reviewers. Tactical Falcon (talk) 22:58, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
I already make a habit of keeping an eye on Special:PendingChanges when I'm spending time on Wikipedia, and it would be great to be able to accept edits that meet the requirements rather than just reverting those that don't, especially when the backlog fills up with acceptable edits waiting for a reviewer. If I could do with any constructive criticism, please let me know. Seercat3160 (talk) 10:09, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights I have been on here for six months now, and recently also joined the simple Wikipedia. Have had 2 declined rollback requests in July and August but have since then, I now officially fully understand the basics of Wikipedia and how to edit, only issue I have had with my editing lately was an accidental page blanking I did due to page-move vandalism and failed move-back about a month ago, but have 2000 additional edits since then (4,100 total). I recently came across one article I was editing (Seth Curry) where the issue of not being a PC-reviewer took full effect, so I am requesting to be a PC reviewer, especially as some "Likely Have Problems" pending edits I have seen in the recent changes have actually been good. MakaylaHippo1998 (talk) 04:20, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
I have made over 500 edits and currently hold the extended confirmed user status. I would like to help reduce the backlog by reviewing pending changes. Thank you. BrownCanary61 (talk) 20:07, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
I have patrolled hundreds of edits for vandalism via recent changes, I am well-versed in what is vandalism and what isn't (among other reasons to deny a pending change). And would like to help with pending changes reviewing. CocaPopsRather 19:09, 24 October 2025 (UTC)

I'd like pending changes reviewer rights so I can do something else other than just recent changes patrolling. I have over 3,000 edits as of this comment, and while I have only been in the community for 2 months, I'm more than familiar with the relevant policies. Cheers! monkeysmashingkeyboards (talk) 16:19, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
I have been editing on Wikipedia for quite a while now. I have nearly a 1000 edits on the English Wikipedia and 1500+ sitewide edits. I think recieving this right will help me improve Wikipedia since many articles that i regularly edit are protected. Shubhsamant09 (talk) 23:12, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
I would like to become a pending changes reviewer to help make the process of reviewing pending changes as quick as possible. I believe I meet the requirements for the permission as I have been editing on Wikipedia since 2023,
I occasionally see pending changes when looking at Recent changes for vandalism and it would be nice to be able to review them. Kspiers (talk) 02:42, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
I spend a lot of time on recent changes and was recently granted rollback. I'm familiar with content policies and guidelines, including the criteria for accepting a pending revision. I'd like to help by accepting good pending changes when I see them while patrolling, and by actively going through pending changes if there's ever a backlog. lp0 on fire () 18:40, 8 November 2025 (UTC)

Rollback
I spend a lot of time on recent changes, mostly using Twinkle because I find it's a much more efficient way of warning disruptive editors or vandals. With the filters I use I mostly encounter disruptive changes, unsourced BLP vios, and the like, but rollback would be helpful for the most obvious vandals. I always send editors I revert a warning, though I sometimes prefer integrated warning/welcome templates like {{welcome-unregistered-test}}. Though I occasionally make mistakes, I learn from them and tend not to repeat them, and I would only use rollback for the clear-cut cases. lp0 on fire () 21:11, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
I plan to use rollback rights to be able to quickly revert vandalism. I am bad at usernames (talk · contribs) 23:15, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
I believe that this tool will allow me to find and revert vandalism quicker. Assadzadeh (talk) 14:20, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
Had requested a while back, but was told I needed some more experience. I believe since then I have obtained a better understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines, and this permission would be useful for me as I could use tools such as antivandal etc. I am aware of all guidelines and always warn users with reverts. I have made 4 pages (which have been accepted) and I am also a pending changes reviewer and temporary account viewer and my edit history hopefully shows how I have put them to good use, for example sock puppet investigations I have started by utilising these tools. Pr0m37h3u$ 15:34, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
I have been active in AV'ing for around 2 months now. I've gained experience about guidelines, know what is and what isn't vandalism, when to revert, and when not to. I am requesting Rollback to use other tools like Huggle to make RC patrolling easier. Thanks for considering.
I have been reverting vandalism edits and monitoring recent changes via redwarn patrol for quite a while now. I have a track record of notifying editors when i revert their edits. Rollback rights would help me to do counter-vandalism tasks more efficiently. Scoria (talk) 03:08, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
I've been getting back into gnoming, and doing some recent changes patrol. I wanted to try out SWViewer, so I would like to have rollback, at least temporarily, to try the tool. I'm already an AFC reviewer, NPR and have PCR and TAIV. I already use rollback with Twinkle, so it's nothing new to me, and I have read the policies. IAmChaos 02:17, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
I do A LOT of AV work and would like the right for reverting Vandalism. Tankishguy 20:49, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

Template editor
Hello. I'm an administrator on Wikimedia Commons. Most of my edits to the English Wikipedia involve renaming files or replacing PNG and SVG versions. Sometimes I also replace Copyvios with other files. I also help manually change filenames that User:CommonsDelinker doesn't do or can't do. In doing so, I sometimes come across templates that are closed for me. Instead of submitting an edit request, it might be useful if I had the right to edit closed templates myself. Therefore, I'm requesting this permission. Best regards, זיו「Ziv」 • For love letters and other notes 10:50, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
