I am a librarian who will be running an editathon for my small liberal arts college on April 3rd and 4th from 9-4:30 PM. This is the third year we have done this, but I am new to the position and the event. Let me know if you need any other information from me. Who was the previous coordinator? Were they also granted event coordinator rights? (Not a strict requirement to answer this, but it will be easier to review by cross-checking what was done before versus reviewing from scratch). * Pppery * it has begun... 19:49, 12 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done, has become moot. @Librarian Daireon: feel free to apply next time if it would make life easier for you at the event. An event coordinator can for instance make people temporarily confirmed, so that they can edit semi-protected articles.
