    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    @BD2412: Hey, I remember you! You are the guy who fulfilled my request to undelete 1911 UIAFA European Football Tournament squads in November 2024. Back then, you used to restore my requests into the mainspace, but now you restore them straight to draft. But yeah, I guess we all change over the years.

    Jamia Rahmania Arabia Dhaka

    I was not aware that an AfD discussion had taken place regarding Jamia Rahmania Arabia Dhaka when I created an article about this educational institution three months later. At that time, it was one of my early contributions to the English Wikipedia, and I was not yet well-versed in notability guidelines and related policies. Now, after five years, I would like to recreate the article, as I have found substantial coverage of the institution’s notability as a leading educational center.     There was no such page, but are you talking about the mayor of Vivian, Louisiana, Earl Guyton Williamson, Sr. (November 15, 1903 — December 9, 1992) which had an article titled Earl Williamson?     I have restored it. It's a bit odd for the very user who reported the sockpuppet of interest to be requesting a restoration to me, but not a big deal. Realize that this means you'll probably have to deal with the sock(s) of interest editing the article, and you will probably need to request administrative aid at a later date. Such a long-standing presence suggests that the article was implicitly accepted by the Wikipedia community and that the subject met notability standards for a significant period.

    Sudden deletion of an article with a decade-long history, especially without major policy violations, warrants careful reconsideration and restoration for further editorial improvement rather than outright removal.

    Since the article’s deletion, additional third-party, independent coverage has emerged or become more accessible, supporting Mr. Youssef’s notability:

    Coverage of Gaiia, a charitable social network founded by Youssef, in outlets like The Upcoming. In-depth interviews about his worldview and philanthropic vision on public platforms.
