Displacement of Arabs in Kirkuk under KRG administration moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Displacement of Arabs in Kirkuk under KRG administration. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it has too many problems of language or grammar and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Pbritti (talk) 11:31, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- How? There was only one small source about a statement that was a dead link which could have been fixed easily by removing it or replacing it with another one and same with grammar if there is any small issues that can be fixed too. Other than that i dont see the problem especially for this page which didnt use Ai (chatbots etc) or else it would have been way longer Kuripenjwen (talk) 11:52, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- The other ones you removed is fine but this one had only one simple little mistake, which doesnt affect the whole article Kuripenjwen (talk) 11:56, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Beyond several typos and significant errors of fact, the way separate events were discussed events looked like the kind of original research evident in LLM-made articles. However, the article could be re-written about the 2016 expulsions if sufficient sources were found. I think that could be accomplished. ~ Pbritti (talk) 14:01, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

I don't understand what a 'proxy' is. I don't use any VPNs or similar tools. If this its about that, what proof is there that I did something wrong to get IP banned for 5 months? I follow all the rules and don’t use VPNs, location changers, or anything like that, NO i do not use this for anything bad i want to continue making articles as it recently became my new hobby. This is literally random unfair ban

April 2025
[edit] Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you created or have recently made significant changes to, Execution of Ali Hassan al-Majid, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for pages, so it has been blanked and redirected. Three typical reasons for this are that: (1) the article's subject appears to fail our notability guidelines; (2) the article is unsourced; or (3) the sources used in the article are unreliable. The page's history is preserved and it is possible to restore the article: If you believe that this page should remain included on Wikipedia or that this action was taken in error, then you may revert the edit that blanked and redirected the page.
Wikipedia:Your first article has more information about creating articles, and you may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 16:22, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Eejit43,
- Thanks for your feedback. I understand your concerns about notability, but I believe the execution of Ali Hassan al-Majid is significant enough to stand alone due to its coverage in major outlets like The Guardian, and Amnesty International.
- I added more details/sources on the article nowKuripenjwen (talk) 16:47, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- I even added BBC which is a very strong source Kuripenjwen (talk) 16:50, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
