Michael Stone Website
[edit]Hi - you have just deleted the external link to Michael Stone's website at www.MichaelStone.co.uk. It is his official website and indeed he has no other website. What reason can you provide for deleting the link to the external site from the Michael Stone page? Londonlinks (talk) 20:01, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry it didn't look remotely official, my mistake. Theroadislong (talk) 20:16, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
- I agree his site doesn't look great but the domain name is his and I guess if you've been in prison for the last 28 years since 1997 maintaining your innocence then that might explain why the design is not great. When you get time please reverse the edit. Thanks. Londonlinks (talk) 20:33, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
I am seeking clarification regarding why this page was not accepted. The subject of this article demonstrates greater notability compared to other contemporaries in the field. For instance, the late artist Harriet Barber, who studied with Desmond Haughton, is featured despite limited recognition. It is important that evaluations are made impartially and without racial bias.

- Your vile accusation of racism is entirely without merit, your draft was declined because you have yet to show with independent sources that the topic passes WP:NARTIST, primary sources connected to him are not what we require. Theroadislong (talk) 12:12, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- In my previous message, I pointed out concerns regarding the objectivity of the page approval process. For example, a page about Harriet Barber—who has no significant public recognition—was approved without difficulty. Meanwhile, my submission about Des Haughton, an artist whose work is part of major public collections such as the National Portrait Gallery (one of Europe's most visited galleries), was rejected. This inconsistency prompts questions about the criteria being applied and the level of objectivity in the current approval system. Ncornwell (talk) 15:07, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- Please see other stuff exists, your draft was NOT rejected, it was declined for further improvement ie, correct formatting of sources, references need to be placed after the content they support. Theroadislong (talk) 15:25, 20 October 2025 (UTC)

Note that I am spamming all over Wikipedia. Not Sure How this is Accurate
[edit]This is the only Top 10 Law Firm in Korea that doesn't have a page on Wiki. We have contributed in the past to law related articles where few people are contributing to articles on Korean Law. Not sure where we are spamming as you noted. As the other law firms listed - we of course should be listed and we modeled our listing after Yulchon Law Firm and Kim & Chang Law Firm - both listed. Shawn7474 (talk) 09:11, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Love to understand how I am "spamming all over Wiki" and how this page as it is similar and better referenced than other pages mentioned above are listed.
- Thanks for your assistance on this. New to this, but no intent to be spamming here. I understand that it is useless anyways - these are all no follow links. Trying to be helpful and get a major law firm listed - as all the other law firms are listed. Shawn7474 (talk) 09:15, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

Andy Ruben draft – sourcing clarification added
[edit]Hi @Theroadislong — thanks for taking the time to review my draft (Andy Ruben). I’ve added a concise notability and sourcing rationale on the draft’s Talk page highlighting independent, significant coverage (NYT, SSIR, Goleman book, Wartzman book, TIME, Forbes Digital Cover, Inc., HBR, CBS, plus Congressional records). The draft has been resubmitted to AfC. Appreciate your consideration for a second look. Akruben (talk) 16:23, 18 October 2025 (UTC)
Draft:Emotional_Basement
[edit]Hello Theroadislong
I am writing regarding the draft I wrote on the Emotional Basement.
I would love to get a better understanding as to why it was not accepted. I have found and cited multiple sources that I believe fit the criteria (e.g. peer-reviewed journals) that discuss the term. Additionally, the publication in "Study of The Organization and Human Resource Quarterly", a peer-reviewed journal written in the Hebrew language, directly discusses all aspects of the term. Most of the contents of the article I tried to publish is taken from there.
Would love for your assistance, I will try to do my best efforts to make the draft fit the criteria.
Much appreciated Maorash (talk) 18:23, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Theroadislong IMDb is not a reliable source? Auther999 (talk) 09:53, 19 October 2025 (UTC)

Regarding CostalCal
[edit]Were two separate templates warning the user for their use of AI necessary? You replied to their Teahouse question, then left two comments on their talk page telling them to cease their use of AI (within three minutes of one another). Feels a bit unnecessary to me, especially since the sole edit since the Teahouse post was adding a link to an article. I understand AI is a very sensitive issue and I don't like its use, but that still felt very aggressive (maybe bitey, though I know the editor is not a new one. PhoenixCaelestis (Talk · Contributions) 21:29, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- PhoenixCaelestis Yes it was bitey, the problem is that the user is continuing to add hallucinated sources such as [4] and [5] with their edits, indicating that they are not reviewing the content after using AI. Diff [6]] Theroadislong (talk) 08:22, 20 October 2025 (UTC)

Draft:Dargah Ustad E Zaman Trust
[edit]Hello Theroadislong, I've added a few more reliable sources to this Draft:Dargah Ustad E Zaman Trust and tried to improve it, all of which are independent. I'm still learning, so I need your help. Please review it and let me know if any further improvements are needed. I'd be very grateful. BrownCanary61 (talk) 07:00, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) @BrownCanary61, you've now asked this at the AfC help desk, AfC project talk page, and here. I've already answered: the sources may be reliable, but they do not provide significant coverage of the subject, and therefore do not establish notability. If you have no better sources, then this organisation is probably not notable, as indeed are the vast majority of organisations in this world. No amount of editing can magic notability out of thin air. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:11, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
Draft: Digul Gullas
[edit]Hi. I'm writing you this to kindly request for a reconsideration, because my submission's references clearly shows that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article as he was the youngest elected City Councilor not just in a particular city, but in the entire country. Also, he became the youngest officer of a prestigious collegial body of elected councilors all over the country. The online news articles from mainstream media clearly show significant coverage and not just passing mentions about the subject. These same sources are independent of the subject as these are mainstream media and not owned or controlled in any way by the subject. I'm fervently hoping you will approve of this submission. Thank you for your time. Erick Wrights (talk) 07:54, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Being a city councillor doesn't make him notable, and being "the youngest officer of a prestigious collegial body of elected councilors" doesn't make him notable either I'm afraid. The draft is also very promotional do you have a conflict of interest by any chance? Theroadislong (talk) 07:58, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
Criterion of notability
[edit]I understand the logic of this criterion. It is a good standard to have. But it is very clearly not applied consistently or fairly across Wikipedia. There are many biographical articles that do not coming close to meeting the standards you have imposed. Alber Sorel (talk) 10:50, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
Re-submission: Draft:Ibrahim Nawaf
[edit]Hi Theroadislong
I have completed the re-submission. Thank you for your previous detailed feedback regarding "significant coverage."
I confirm the draft is now edited and structured to meet the WP:CREATIVE criteria for notability, specifically Theory (Significant New Concept): The Archigenetics theory is now documented by six independent, specialized platforms, it as more than a "passing mention." I added strong, historical sources (from 2010) to prove the subject's early.
The draft now fully qualifies under the Architect/Theorist guidelines. Your final review is appreciated Archupnet (talk) 19:14, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

HalfMyDAF page
[edit]Hi--
Got your note about myHalfMyDAF page, and have made a few changes in response to your feedback.
did my best to keep it non-promotional-- there's not been any significant criticism of the program beyond the general feedback that it would be nice to have legislation requiring DAF pay-outs. (We support such legislation, but it's gone nowhere.)
The citations are from external, credible sources-- The Chronicle of Philanthropy, the Robb Report, the San Francisco Chronicle, etc. I've added a Bloomberg BuisessWeek reprint as well.
I'm happy to disclose that I'm the Founder-- I created the page because people have asked why there isn't one. Of course I can ask someone else to submit this on my behalf but that seems a little indirect.
In short, I'm asking for a little more feedback. Have I addressed the concerns? What else looks promotional? What language is vague? What do I need to do to disclose my connection with the program?
I get that Wikipedia is a high-integrity org. It also wants to be comprehensive. Having a hard time knowing what to do next. Thanks. WikiContributor (talk) 23:18, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- Your draft is entirely promotional, it tells us everything you would like us to know about the organisation. Wikipedia has no requirement to be "comprehensive" we don't need articles about everything. I strongly suggest you wait until somebody with no connection to you or the organisation decides you are a notable organisation and creates it. Theroadislong (talk) 07:45, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Clarification on Paid Editing and Logo Copyright
[edit]I would like to clarify my relationship to Royan Institute and my contributions to Wikipedia.
I am not receiving any compensation, directly or indirectly, for writing or editing the Royan Institute article. My contributions are entirely voluntary and intended to improve Wikipedia in a neutral and verifiable way.
Regarding the logo and any images of the Institute: I designed the Institute's logo in the past and delivered it to Royan Institute, but I do not hold copyright over it. I am contributing as a private individual who has knowledge about the Institute and its activities, and I aim to write in an encyclopedic, neutral, and verifiable manner.--M.asadimotlagh (talk) 09:52, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Clarification on my relationship to Royan Institute and images
[edit]I would like to clarify my relationship to Royan Institute. I am not an employee, contractor, or patient of the Institute. I previously designed the Institute's logo and delivered it to them, but I do not hold copyright over it, nor do I have any ongoing financial or contractual relationship.
Regarding images: I used images found through Google search in the draft for illustrative purposes. I understand that I do not have copyright for these images and that they cannot be released on Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons without explicit permission. I will remove all such images from the draft immediately and will ensure that any future images used are either properly licensed or explicitly released.
I am contributing to Wikipedia solely as a private individual, aiming to improve the article in a neutral and verifiable manner.--M.asadimotlagh (talk) 10:02, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Draft:Digilent
[edit]Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your G15 speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Digilent]. G15 does not apply to all articles written by an LLM such as ChatGPT. Rather, G15 only applies to LLM-generated articles without reasonable human review, as evidenced by communication intended for the user, implausible non-existent references, and/or nonsensical citations. Although I may have erred, I did not see these signs and thus, have declined the speedy deletion. If you have any questions about this, please let me know. Thank you! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:30, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Adding World Friendship Flag Project Inc. draft to an article instead?
[edit]Hello!
First of all, thanks so much for your feedback on my draft. I understand that the references at the time of submission were not adequate to support the draft and that the tone was unintentionally promotional. I have additionally realized that the subject may not meet notability standards. While this may make it ineligible for an independent article, I am considering if it would be better simply added to Summerville article instead, with the appropriate edits, as my draft concerns an organization based in that town and has had notable involvment the town. Please let me know if this would be a better route to take with the subject, or if this question would be better addressed elsewhere (perhaps on the Summerville talk page?) I have attempted to correct the tone and sources used, but again I do not feel that it warrants an article. I am also willing to disregard the subject if it would be ineligible for inclusion on the Summerville article as well.
Thank you!
