While Wikipedia's written policies and guidelines should be taken seriously, they can be misused.
Do not follow an overly strict interpretation of the letter of policy without consideration for the principles of policies.
If the rules truly prevent you from improving the encyclopedia, ignore them.
Disagreements are resolved through consensus-based discussion, not by tightly sticking to rules and procedures.
Furthermore, policies and guidelines themselves may be changed to reflect evolving consensus. (WP:NOT)

Request for Draft mode: Dai Ying (producer)
[edit]Hi Liz,
hope all is well.
The page Dai Ying (producer) has been deleted based on consensus.
I've since found new sources of news that will address the notability issue.
The AFD team has asked me to approach you about the page.
Can you help me please?
Many thanks.

- Hello, Heureuxl,
- Please provide a link to the deleted article so I can see why it was deleted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:53, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you Liz.
- I can't find the page anymore, but this is the link to the page where the consensus took place.
- Many thanks for replying to me in the midst of your busyness.
- Best

IBAN questions
[edit]Hey Liz. I have a discussion listed at User talk:Alex 21#IBAN concerning an IBAN you enforced on an editor against myself. Could you provide me advice on what to do when the editor is violating that IBAN, please? Many thanks. -- Alex_21 TALK 22:46, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Alex 21,
- This was a definite violation so I posted a warning at User talk:DoctorWhoFan91#IBan. I expect they might file an appeal of the IBan but they will have to go through WP:AN to do that where you will have an opportunity to comment. Liz Read! Talk! 03:52, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your post. Just as an update, they did indeed go through AN, and the thread was almost immediately closed. -- Alex_21 TALK 09:04, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Liz. In one of DoctorWhoFan91's original ANI threads, you wrote you would "definitely stay away from any problems [DWF91] might have in the future since [DWF91] disliked what [you] offer", adding that you will "go back to when [DWF91 and you] didn't know each other". I agree with Tamzin's decision to block and hope there will be no reprise down the line, but wanted to remind you of one of your last exchanges with DWF91. — ImaginesTigers (talk∙contribs) 22:19, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- ImaginesTigers, I'll have to reread what I wrote back in February. My intention at the time was not to communicate with this editor in the future but this recent action was an IBan violation not a noticeboard discussion. I think it was within my administrative resposibilities to post a warning to them and I did warn the editor instead of imposing a block which another admin did subsequently. But since I was reminded by this editor that they preferred not to communicate with me, I'll keep my distance unless action is necessary in my capacity as an administrator. Liz Read! Talk! 17:13, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Liz. Hope you're well. You frame things very differently from me. Instead of "[DWF91] preferred not to communicate with me", I suggest "he reminded me that I repeatedly told him I'd stay away from future noticeboard discussions regarding him", which signals slightly more hostility. I don't think it is a unique message in this respect.
- For example, the message you left on his talk page —
in future, I'll just ignore your posts on ANI and other noticeboards and let other editors and admins comment on them. I think it's unlikely but maybe one of them will put in the time to analyze them sufficiently to your standards
– could be described very literally as an "expression of negative feelings, resentment, and aggression in an unassertive passive way (as through procrastination and stubbornness)". - This is my first time experiencing a noticeboard and it has been a terrible reveal. No admin responded to any diff provided by DWF91 or any other participant who left statements. The only admin who requested diffs did not respond when they were provided. Wikipedia's dispute noticeboards are certainly unique among social media sites, but I don't think any other site would redirect WP:CESSPIT to theirs. — ImaginesTigers (talk∙contribs) 22:48, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, ImaginesTigers,
- What do you need from me? I don't want to rehash old arguments from noticeboards, especially when I've been instructed not to involve myself with another editor. If you need something related to my admin work, let me know. Otherwise, I have a lot of tasks to take care of. Liz Read! Talk! 23:00, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Liz. You summoned me here by pinging me. Disagreeing with the framing of your response and the professionalism of your conduct, I explained my position respectfully on your User talk. An explanatory response is customary but (as you know) many editors choose not to do this. I have nothing else to say on the topic. Good luck with your tasks. — ImaginesTigers (talk∙contribs) 23:51, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- ImaginesTigers, I pinged you because I was responding to your message to me last week. Then, you responded, then I responded, that's how conversations work. But since you don't seem to want to talk, I will not "ping" you any longer but I will respond so you know I saw your message. So long. Liz Read! Talk! 00:01, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

I'm responding because you said I "don't seem to want to talk". I replied to the ping because I wanted to talk. If one makes a complaint to a company, the complainant doesn't usually have much to do until the company gets back to them. To summarise:
- You ask what I wanted.
- I request a response (I suppose the basic options would be explain, defend or apologise).
- You say that you pinged me because you were responding to me; this seems off topic.
If your next response is about the allegations I made, I will respond. If your next response is about something else (e.g., me – like your last), I will recognise you don't want to discuss and not respond. Please feel free to message me on Discord if you'd prefer to discuss privately. — ImaginesTigers (talk∙contribs) 00:54, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
User right
[edit]Hi Liz! Could you remove my New Page Reviewer right? The trial period ended on February 26 (frankly, it's just not my area of work, I've come to find) but for some reason I still have the right, even though it shows in my rights log that it was removed on the 26th. Thanks! — EF5 14:08, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

Growth Newsletter #33
[edit]
A quarterly update from the Growth team on our work to improve the new editor experience.
This year, the Growth team is exploring ways to help more new account holders start editing—and do so constructively, meaning their edits are not reverted. Our latest experiments include:
- Gradual rollout of "Add a Link" at English Wikipedia – We are gradually introducing the "Add a Link" structured task to newcomers at English Wikipedia (T386029). This serves as a natural A/B test to measure its impact on activation, retention, and revert rates (T382603). Previous experiments on pilot wikis showed that "Add a Link" increases newcomer participation, particularly by helping them make constructive (non-reverted) edits.
- Testing in-article suggestions for first-time editors – Many new account holders want to contribute but don’t know where to start. To help, we’re piloting a feature that surfaces structured task suggestions directly in an article’s read view for brand-new editors (T385343). These suggestions will appear for logged-in users with no edits, providing a clear, simple way to begin contributing that is surfaced while they read.
Newcomers often struggle to find their place in Wikipedia’s collaborative environment. While experienced editors easily discover events like edit-a-thons and writing campaigns, newcomers often miss out.
- To bridge this gap, we launched the Community Updates module for the Newcomer Homepage. This module is disabled by default, allowing Community Admins to decide how (or if) to use it.
- If your community hosts events, consider setting up a Community Update to engage and welcome newcomers! Learn more on Diff. To configure, visit Special:CommunityConfiguration.
Community Configuration is now available across all wikis, including non-Wikipedia projects (T383910). Community Configuration allows admins to customize various features like Growth features and Automoderator for their communities, and more recently the Babel extension now allows admins to modify configuration:
- Babel customization – Admins can now configure Babel settings (T374348), including category naming, automatic category creation, and more. See an example on Wikimedia Commons.
- Upcoming configurable features – Projects exploring community configuration options include: Incident Reporting System (T374113) and Cite backlinks (T378807).
Mentors play a key role in guiding new editors. If you’re interested in mentoring, or turning mentorship on at your wiki, check out the Mentorship FAQ
- Starting February 17, 100% of new accounts at English Wikipedia will be assigned a mentor (T384505).
- At Spanish Wikipedia, on 50% of newcomers get a mentor. Experienced contributors are encouraged to join mentorship so that Spanish Wikipedia can provide a mentor to all new users.
Looking Ahead
[edit]In the coming months, we will continue balancing maintenance work—such as deprecating EditGrowth Config (T367574) and migrating Statslib (T359352) — with user-facing improvements that support new editors and foster the next generation of contributors.

A preliminary note on a Wikipedia:REFUND/G13 request, and a request for your opinion
[edit]@Liz, MaxnaCarta, and DreamRimmer bot II:
Hi Liz.
This is about Draft:The Trauma Cleaner: One Woman's Extraordinary Life in Death, Decay & Disaster
- That draft was created on 5 April 2024
- The most recent update of the draft was on 2 September 2024
- You deleted the draft under the on 2 March 2025 following the WP:G13 speedy deletion criterion.
- I am considering a WP:REFUND/G13 undeletion request
OK, so far, so good, right?
Nope. Given that I write a lot about Australian literature and Australian law in articlespace, I don't think I could make this request with an open mind, without "apprehended bias" on my part.
I seek your opinion about this draft. Does it meet WP:NBOOK? Are the issues raised at Sandra Pankhurst relevant here?
My apologies if I am bothering your very busy self with very de minimis things here

- (talk page stalker) DreamRimmer bot II is a WP:BOT and not a human. I think you mean DreamRimmer? Polygnotus (talk) 11:53, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Shirt58: The book appears to be notable, it won a bunch of awards:
- the Douglas Stewart Prize for Non-Fiction[1]
- Australian Book Industry Awards, General Non-Fiction Book of the Year, winner, 2018.[2]
- Victorian Premier's Literary Award, Prize for Literature, winner, 2018.[3]
- Victorian Premier's Literary Award, Non-fiction, winner, 2018.[4]
- It was longlisted for Wellcome Book Prize 2019 [5]
- Dobbie Literary Award, 2018[6]
- It has also been reviewed by independent reviewers[7] and [8] so criteria 1 and 2 of WP:NBOOK are met.
- Sarah Krasnostein wins $125,000 at Australia’s richest literary prize - The Guardian.

- Hello, Shirt58,
- Sorry for the delay in responding. Now that I'm working with the arbitration committee in addition to my regular tasks, I'm juggling a lot of email and talk page discussions. This looks like a regular, ordinary CSD G13 and we do about 150 of these speedy deletions every day. G13s can be restored upon request by any editor for any reason. Is your concern that you might have a COI? Because we don't restore draft articles based on notability concerns. If you want to work on it, feel free to restore it. Liz Read! - Neither Liz nor @Polygnotus had any concerns, and this is a simple G13. I've restored for @Shirt58 or anyone else to work on it. At a quick scan, it could probably be moved to mainspace without much work Star Mississippi 01:25, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

Deletion review for Marco Trombetti

Hi Liz, I greatly appreciate the feedback provided regarding reliable sources for this page. I hope you can follow the discussion in the deletion review. SilvioT (talk) 17:27, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

Category: Comanche Nation people
[edit]@Liz, I have recently been working on categorization of Native American people, an area of the encyclopedia that badly needs improvement. I removed the deletion tag on Comanche Nation people, and began populating this Category. I know you are super busy, but was wondering if you could ping me before deleting the Cats for people of the various tribes of Native Americans people. Many thanks in advance! Netherzone (talk) 18:02, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Netherzone,
- Well, "speedy" deletion for categories is a misnomer, it's not speedy at all. If a category is empty, it is tagged for CSD C1 speedy deletion but then it sits for 7 days before deletion is considered. This is because often categories can be temporarily empty or be "emptied out of process". We need to tag the empty categories to start the 7 day clock but you don't have to worry about them being deleted immediately. I think 7 days should be long enough to straighten out any problems that arise when you are recategorizing articles and categories. Liz Read! Talk! 18:07, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
Parallels and meridians
[edit]I'm going to wikignome fix this with two renominations from scratch. I might be some time. ☺ Uncle G (talk) 10:51, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Uncle G,
- Well, I think that article was associated with an AFD, right? I didn't quite get why there was a new AFD for an article that has already been deleted. But I look forward to reading it over. Liz Read! Talk! 17:05, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
The now closed discussion was going to be an undecidable mess. I foresaw every closer just scratching xyr head at that one, not least over which articles were even being nominated. The re-done nomination has a clear list, with all of the articles tagged, and all of the nominated articles sharing a clear commonality. I'm just about to prod the participants into trying to be specific, but at least they are discussing the articles more than the process this time around. I'm holding back on the meridians, to see how well this goes with the parallels. Mixing them together was going to be problematic, too, as a couple of people had already pointed out. Uncle G (talk) 03:34, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
A summary of what I said on my talk page
[edit]Liz, I know you don't check pings, so I basically wanted to summarise what I said on my talk page- which was to request that, keeping up with what you said on my talk page a month ago, you do not edit in any noticeboards matters relating to me, or msg me, and if possible, refrain from any action regarding anything else related to me unless it's necessary in your capacity as admin. Especially in matters that are related to the ani thread in early feb. DWF91 (talk) 16:40, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, DWF91,
- While I still think your reasoning on that past noticeboard discussion, that I basically wasn't helpful enough and my replies were "too generic", is rather peculiar and strange, I'll try to abide by your wishes unless admin work requires me to contact or acknowledge you. This isn't an IBan between us so, for example, if Alex contacts me for help, I can advise them that they go elsewhere for assistance. After 11 years on this project, this is a first for me.
- Good bye and good luck with your editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:01, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

Rust Magic Page Deletion
[edit]Hello Liz,
My name is Rana, I am student in MacEwan University specifically working on the project The Arts in Urban Regeneration (Winter 2025). The assigned page Rust Magic - Edmonton Mural Festival was made live yesterday by my group mate and then subsequently deleted. I would like your input on why it got deleted. As I have identified we are students, we are new to this process and hoping to learn from fellow wikipedia page creators. Please let me know your thoughts and thank you for your time. - I have provided the draft history below. Let me know if this helps provide reference for this topic. I am trying to learn what specific area I could focus on to improve so that the page maybe live one day. Please let me know your thoughts. @Liz

- Ranarocksrose, I think this page is exactly where it should be. I think the only deleted pages were cross-namespace redirects, not articles. It's not a suitable User page, which would be listed under your username, and it's not ready for main space. It belongs in Draft space for you to work on and improve.

You need to appeal it at WP:AN but since it is almost 5 years old, I think you'll have good odds of it being lifted if there haven't been any problems recently. PayamAvarwand at it again
[edit]Hello Liz, sorry for bothering you. Unfortunately, all the WP:ROPE given to User:PayamAvarwand has proved futile, which unfortunately was expected, as they had earlier once again refused to read this sites policies [9], just after the second ANI thread last month [10]. They are once again altering sourced information [11], (eg altered the info sourced to the Brill-published Karimi & Maghsoodi 2013, even removing the citation itself). Dear Liz, I thought he has probably a bit directional thoughts. But now, I am unfortunately a little bit more sure, that he has his own preconceptions! He is trying since monthes to ignore my identity! I know I am Persian, and he's trying since monthes to make me believe I'm not!--PayamAvarwand (talk) 00:51, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, HistoryofIran and PayamAvarwand,
- On Wikipedia, it doesn't matter what the ethnicitity, nationality, gender or religion an editor is. But you do have to edit with a neutral point of view according to Wikipedia policies, no matter who you are or where you come from.
- I dislike blocking editors because I'm much rather have editors productively contributing to this project. But you have to find a way to get along with editors you have differences with. Do not edit war or hold on to past grievances, let go of having to "be right". Please do not make a block inevitable. Liz Read! Talk! 01:04, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

Southern African Tour issue: intro section
[edit]Hello administrators:
Within the past couple years User:Jimmymci234 and I have collaborated to create seasonal calendars for the Southern African Tour, a golfing organization. We have created all the calendars between the inaugural 1971–72 season and the 1999–2000 season. We agreed on much but disagreed on the content of the introductory section. I thought a full paragraph was necessary while Jimmy thought it should be limited to one sentence. We were unable to resolve this matter and I would like administrators to help us form a consensus.
Regards,
Chief disambiguator (talk) 21:10, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
- Golf isn't my thing, but a full introductory wouldn't be harmful and it's not like that's a well known enough tournament that a preamble would be unnecessary. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:42, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hey man im josh, thank you very much for your response. I feel like I would need an opinion from at least one more administrator to acheive consensus though. If the administrators listed above or other admins like User:Eagles247 or User:Ser Amantio di Nicolao could respond that would be great!

- @Chief disambiguator: Admins have no more weight in discussions than you do in a content dispute, we're simply folks trusted with some tools who can be wrong as well (I am way more often than I'm comfortable with). You do not need the opinion of another administrator on this matter. If anything, I would recommend a discussion at WP:GOLF. Hey man im josh (talk) 22:22, 23 March 2025 (UTC)

Stalking
[edit]Hi Liz (or talk page watcher)! Could this be seen as stalking? I really don't like that we're guessing exact addresses this user will be at. — EF5 16:00, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, EF5,
- I'm not sure that I know the full story here but apparently, this IP editor has frequently socked? I'm concerned that editors might be preoccupied with trying to anticipate a future sockpuppet appearance instead of doing constructive work on this project. It seems like a waste of editors' time and an unhealthy focus to be worried about a blocked editor. It could violate "outing" guidelines as well. And it's just plain creepy. It's giving them too much power over how an editor spends their time here and, who knows, the IP editor might have moved on and not care about Wikipedia any longer.
- I recommend no editor in good standing chronicle anyone's movements off-Wikipedia on talk pages here or it could lead to negative consequences for the "stalker". That's my admin advice and recommendation as a fellow editor and human being. Liz Read! Talk! 20:12, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for responding! They are an LTA and still disruptively edit, I'm just afraid people are looking too deep down the hole and potentially stalking them. :) EF5 20:17, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
- I agree, EF5. It's just not a healthy activity for an active editor to be spending time on. Ones time spent on Wikipedia should be on the work, not obsessing about other people, whether they are friend or foe. This isn't social media but an encyclopedia. I've seen good editors get absorbed by sockhunts or feuds with other editors (blocked or those in good standing) and it's just an enormous distraction and, honestly, it doesn't help the project either. Zyter TruCare
[edit]Hi Liz, I was wondering if I might be able to ask for your help in creating an article for the digital health tech company Zyter TruCare. I have a draft posted in my userspace for your convenience. My COI, as declared on my userpage, prevents me from creating this page myself. I look forward to your help and potential collaboration. Thank you! Lauren at L Strategies (talk) 17:05, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello Lauren at L Strategies. Liz is probably busier than most editors. I have taken a look at your draft. Unfortunately, the references in the draft and any other sources that I could find online do not support a conclusion that the topic of Zyter TruCare is eligible for a standalone article. This is because of Wikipedia's stringent limitations on new articles on companies, as per the guideline on the notability of companies, which aims to protect Wikipedia from gaming of the rules by marketing and public relations professionals, and ultimately to protect Wikipedia from being used by companies to promote themselves (including simply to "tell the world they exist", and similar, more innocuous-seeming goals). Specifically, the sources are not WP:SUBSTANTIAL. Routine industry news, market intelligence reports that do not discuss the subject in depth, announcements of non-notable awards, and similar are not sources of sufficiently high quality for Wikipedia. - Hello, Emoore2914,
- First, always sign your comments on talk pages, in discussions or on noticeboards using four tildes (~~~~). You always should identify yourself when leaving a message with a date and time stamp.
- Secondly, while I was given access to Checkuser tools when I became an Arbitrator, I have never used them and do not know how to use them. I'm waiting for a future training which looks like it might happen in April. So, even if I was inclined to address your request, I do not know how to do so. But also, checkusers are not supposed to use their tools on request to show that an editor is innocent, just when there are good suspicions that sockpuppetry is occurring. So, if you find another Checkuser who is actually handy with the tools, I think they will decline your request.
- But I will check out the SPI report if I can find it and see what's going on. Sorry I can't assist you further. Liz Read! Talk! 03:41, 27 March 2025 (UTC)

Delinking
[edit]Hi Liz. After noticing this happen again on the same page I pseudo-reverted earlier: Please, I beg thee, look at the list before delinking. :) Back when I did more list maintenance, admins indiscriminately delinking after deletion regularly made my life harder. So many lists are lists of notable examples, such that when an article is deleted as not being notable, it should be removed. The "what links here" and other tools make red links easy to find in such lists and remove, but when someone comes by and unlinks it, not only does it not improve the article, it makes those items harder to find. FWIW. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 01:20, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Rhododendrites,
- Sorry you had to do that reversion twice, that's an unusual coincidence. I'll try to be more careful in the future. Checking unlinking with PRODs is fairly straight-forward but with AFDs it happens automatically with deletion and that process is a little more complicated. Liz Read! Talk! 01:28, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- No worries and thanks. I don't think I realized (or don't remember) that it's automatic with AfDs. That seems short-sighted. Ah well. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 01:40, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
Deletion Question
[edit]Hi Liz, I hope you're doing well!
I created a category called Biomedical Research yesterday; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Biomedical_Research
The idea here is to link it to lab techniques, fields, and concepts that can be applied within different relevant research fields, and make info more connected and accessible. I created the page (new here! wasn't sure it would even work) but got busy with work and haven't started the linking just yet.
I saw it's been tagged for auto-deletion... Is this because it's empty, or for a different reason? Will work on starting to fill it as soon as I can. I've gone through articles and categories that are adjacent in nature, and haven't yet found anything that specifically addresses the need I've described above, so I don't believe it'd be redundant once created.
Thank you for taking the time to moderate and help! Shmigley (talk) 03:08, 28 March 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm new to wiki and I understand the strictness and accuracy this community requires, I had created sandbox for my own fun and wanted to change the title but not released to the public and should only be visible to friends I send links to. However due to me wanting to change the title of the sandbox (because obviously the page isn't about sandbox) I accidentally used the wrong function and moved my sandbox page under another user which doesn't exist.
I am hereby begging you to undelete my page as that took me 5 hours of work to write
Thank you for your understanding and I promise to follow the rules strictly from now on Midnight Hurricane (talk) 03:54, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- Or sorry, allow me to rephrase as I did some research, I would like to make a recreation of my own sandbox under its original title and under my user page if thats possible, thanks! Midnight Hurricane (talk) 04:17, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Midnight Hurricane,
- You don't have to beg. Just don't move your User pages to nonexistent editor pages or they will be deleted. I've restored them and moved them back to your User space. You can look in the page history and revert them to the edit that you wish. I leave that up to you.
- If you want to change your username, then ask for help at the Teahouse and they will tell you what to do. But the only time you should move your User pages is if you are moving it to Draft space. Do not create user pages for editors who do not exist. Happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 04:38, 28 March 2025 (UTC)

I have restored this article. A quick Google Books search shows evidence of notability. The fact that there were 17 incoming links (which I also had to restore) was a good clue that this was a bad PROD. ~Kvng (talk) 17:18, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Kvng,
- We delete articles tagged for proposed deletion that have more links than 17. That's great you looked into this one but admins reviewing PRODs aren't responsible for doing BEFOREs, the nominator is (see WP:PRODNOM). Admins just check to see if the article or file is eligible for proposed deletion and sometimes look for a way to Redirect the page. You can see a reviewing admin's responsibilities at Wikipedia:Proposed deletion#Procedure for administrators. Liz Read! Talk! 17:54, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
- As I'm sure your aware, not all editors that propose or nominate articles for deletion do WP:BEFORE. How are we accounting for this in PROD processes? I assume WP:PRODPATROL coverage is still spotty. ~Kvng (talk) 18:04, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

Count the reasons...copyright monster, calmness under pressure, kindness and understanding, humour, diligence...and on, and on, and on. Plus all the numpty abuse you've received recently. You are appreciated. Knitsey (talk) 23:24, 29 March 2025 (UTC) |
- Hello, Knitsey,
- These little tokens of appreciation can really lift an editor's spirits on what had been an unrewarding day on the project. Thank you for spending the time to post this. It's appreciated. ;-) Liz Read! Talk! 01:49, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
I redirected this to Kel Ajjer, as an alternative to deletion(ATD). Bearian (talk) 01:31, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Bearian,
- Thanks for the ATD solution! Liz Read! Talk! 01:47, 31 March 2025 (UTC)

ANI/I thread
[edit]Hey Liz. The ANI/I thread about source misrepresentation on Vasojevići has not received any further input from other interested editors. Aeengath, who was editing on a daily basis until being reported, maybe does not want to respond to the report. Rosguill stated they would be fine with an AE-logged warning too. As no more editors have posted there, and the thread will be archived by the bot tomorrow, you might want to close it with a decision. Cheers, Ktrimi991 (talk) 19:26, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Ktrimi991,
- I'll look into this tomorrow. I was hoping someone more experienced with AE sanctions would evaluate this. Thanks for the reminder though. Liz Read! Talk! 19:31, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- No worries; if you feel uncomfortable making a final decision, the report can be let to be archived as is. Indeed, it would have been better if several admins weighted in, but reporting this kind of Balkan disruption is much better at AE than ANI/I. Cheers, Ktrimi991 (talk) 19:43, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MAGA Communism
[edit]I feel like you just made me good cop. :) Thanks for cleaning that up. Kind regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 23:30, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi @Liz: I have lately been very off from here but just realised this article has had an AfD active and has been deleted. Would you mind restoring it to my userspace? I can't say if I'd be able to save this but a look at the deleted version will be beneficial and I'd want to have a check on the resources to which I have access. Thank you. Regards, Aafi (talk) 08:54, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, User:Aafi,
- I am having problems with my laptop right now which means I'm editing with my phone which makes some things more difficult. When I get back to my regular setup, I'll look into it. There were problems with copyright violations with an earlier version of this article which complicates things a bit. Liz Read! Talk! 21:42, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

Lamplighter Theatre article text
[edit]Hello Do you know how I can get the text for the Lamplighter Theatre article you deleted? I run the Radio Theatre Wiki under the username Christian Minassian and was going to use the text of this article to get the release dates for the audio dramas as the website does not provide them. Thanks. 198.163.159.103 (talk) 15:39, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi IP, an archived version from back in January is available on Archive.org: https://web.archive.org/web/20250118090639/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamplighter_Theatre. S0091 (talk) 15:50, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

Draftifying of Balkan Spring / Southeast Europe protests
[edit]Hi Liz!
I appreciate your concerns and your action about the article above.
I believe the article was slowly maturifying, especially with the name change (I believe I may have unintentionally editoralized the name a little bit), so can you draftify it so I can work on it more and eventually submit it again?
Thanks in advance Mavreju (talk) 08:07, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
Ping for a history question
[edit]I've asked a question of an admin who (like you) performed a purely administrative task in this case years ago. I'd appreciate your opinion there of what needs to be done at this point. BusterD (talk) 12:13, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
- I think PMC allayed my concerns. No need to weigh in if you'd rather not. BusterD (talk) 13:44, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
