To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 15:08 on 9 June 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Actual errors only. Failures of subjective criteria such as interestingness are not errors.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.
Errors in the summary of the featured article
[edit]- Isn't it usual practice to include a (pictured) identifier when the picture is not that of the subject of the article? Unless that has changed, the blurb text should include a (pictured) after Kate Moss. --1.46.76.139 (talk) 09:19, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- Yes. I've added it. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 10:08, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Errors with "In the news"
[edit]Errors in "Did you know ..."
[edit]- ... that Brazilian medium Benjamin Teixeira de Aguiar said that Lula da Silva is the reincarnation of Pedro II of Brazil?
At least one sentence in this article is plagiarized from a source. Google Translate gives "In the video published in June, he looks at the camera and plays a superior being talking to the spirit of the last emperor of Brazil", whereas the article says "In this video, de Aguiar plays a superior being talking to the spirit of the last emperor of Brazil". I haven't conducted a full check for other translation-copyvio, but this should probably be pulled either way, as it means the DYK review was not complete. I'm also not sure that the hook complies with WP:DYKBLP or WP:DYKFICTION. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 01:22, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Pulled Thanks for your report, Tamzin. In my view, you could have pulled it yourself, as copyvio is certainly not defendable. Schwede66 01:30, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Errors in the summary of the featured list
[edit]Filipino girl group Bini (pictured) has won 44 awards from 83 nominations and 8 honorees. The group includes Aiah, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena,
Colet was not part in the Featured Lists, please add it ASAP. Also, please wikilink the "Gwen" if can, Thank you. ROY is WAR Talk! 00:51, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your report, Royiswariii. I've added Colet. Gwen isn't wikilinked as the article is currently at AfD. I checked whether I can close that discussion prior to this going live, but there isn't consensus evident. Schwede66 05:03, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

Errors in the summary of the featured picture
[edit]I'm not sure that "Today's Featured Picture" should be changed to "Today's Featured Pictures" in the heading, as done here 1294660424, as per FAQs more than one picture is quite frequently selected to appear, including when a GIF or video is featured. It seems fine to change the heading when more than one TFA article is featured, although for POTD its generally quite accepted that more than one picture including a series of pictures, can frequently appear, so I'm don't know if the change is necessary. Happily888 (talk) 06:35, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- I cannot spot the error in your report, Happily888. Schwede66 08:47, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- The error change was directly to the Main Page, the first edit in the History. Happily888 (talk) 08:57, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) FWIW I agree. The feature is called Today's featured picture, singular, it's the name of a main page project, not a literal description of what's shown. As noted, videos are also included in this, and we've frequently had multiple pics before without issue. The change above should be reverted. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 09:02, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
