Information icon Hello, I'm Pbritti. I noticed that you recently made an edit in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your edit summaries claim to be updates, but are often unexplained and disruptive changes that do nothing to provide an update. ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:09, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bakhtar40. I noticed that you recently removed content from CK Birla Group without adequately explaining why. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Siemens Healthineers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Multinational. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Moving pages

[edit]

Please do not move pages unnecessary as you did with Chenani–Nashri Tunnel. Before performing a page move, please make sure you visit the talk page. If you believe the page should be renamed, please open a RM discussion rather than making controversial moves. For more information, see WP:RM#CM and WP:MOVE. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:01, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The reason why i moved pages is because the new title of the article was moved based on the references before the renaming of the tunnel. The User moved pages based on misleading explanation. I simply reverted it back. GangesCommander (talk) 09:36, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Misleading explanation? Please refer to the article's talk page, where the reason is provided. You will need to open a new RM discussion to present your justification, rather than moving pages without reviewing the talk page. Read the difference between WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIALNAMES. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 11:03, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
as i have stated earlier, the reason giving for moving the name is misleading. The reason is based on reference from 4 news articles, and one can clear see all these articles were published on the Tunnel was inaugurated. I know diferrance between between WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIALNAMES. The Common name for Tunnel is Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel. GangesCommander (talk) 11:38, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please explain it to me how Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel is the common name? I would like to learn more about it. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 12:23, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Government of India has named it ass such, it is colloquially known as such. All Alphabet/Google apps including maps recognize it as such. GangesCommander (talk) 12:35, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please provide evidence to support your claims? I am eager to learn more about this development. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 12:51, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
here is the official government notification [1]. And you check it on Google maps by yourself. GangesCommander (talk) 13:06, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! But that does not appear to be a common name. It seems you may have misunderstood our policy. Here are the Google Maps results. I suggest reviewing WP:COMMONNAME for clarity. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 13:30, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Bijapur. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Do a proper move request RfC in the talk page the older one instead of undiscussed unilateral moves. [edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Axedd (talk) 08:20, 14 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Flyingphoenixchips. I noticed that you removed topically relevant content from Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. However, Wikipedia is not censored. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Kindly do not remove content in pages without WP:CONSENSUS. Also use proper edit summaries. Do not remove sources added by others. If there is an issue bring it up to the forum or open an RfC to resolve the issue. If a statement is sourced then it should only be removed post consensus. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 02:40, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to Wipro Enterprises. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Yuvaank (talk) 06:55, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Dassault Mirage 2000, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. The reasons provided in the edit summary are insufficient and clearly do not reflect a consensus. As a reminder, editors are expected to maintain a higher standard when editing in contentious topic areas. To be quite honest, your edits have the appearance of POV-pushing behavior. I'd strongly suggest discussing further removals of sourced content and gaining consensus before making further such edits. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 20:18, 21 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is a final warning -- the next time you cause disruption in the India-Pakistan conflict area, such as blanking or POV pushing, you are going to be topic-banned from this area for 1 year. Your edits appear to be consistently removing well sourced content (New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) in instances that are favorable to Pakistan or negative to India; under the deceptive label of being "excessive". If you are unable to follow our policies and edit neutrally in a contentious topic area, in which we expected editors to be on their best behavior, you will be removed from editing said topic. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Forward Markets Commission when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 21:08, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Contentious topic reminder

[edit]

Information icon You have recently made edits related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups. This is a standard message to inform you that the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups is a designated contentious topic.

Additionally, editors must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. Zalaraz (talk) 16:21, 23 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

December 2025

[edit]

Stop icon Your recent editing history at Insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.

If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page. Linkin Prankster (talk) 09:58, 31 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Stop icon You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Dhurandhar. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.

You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 23:42, 4 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
