    The Spam-whitelist page is used in conjunction with the Mediawiki SpamBlacklist extension, and lists strings of text that override Meta's blacklist and the local spam-blacklist.

    1. The link that you want whitelisted in the section title, like === example.com/help/index.php === .
    2. The Wikipedia page on which you want to use the link
    3. An explanation why it would be useful to the encyclopedia article proper
    4. If the site you're requesting is listed at /Common requests, please include confirmation that you have read the reason why requests regarding the site are commonly denied and that you still desire to proceed with your request

    Important: You must provide a full link to the specific web page you want to be whitelisted (leave out the http:// from the front; otherwise you will not be able to save your edit to this page). Requests quoting only a domain (i.e. ending in .com or similar with nothing after the / character) are likely to be denied. If you wish to have a site fully unblocked please visit the relevant section of MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist.

    Note: Do not request links to be whitelisted where you can reasonably suspect that the material you want to link to is in violation of copyright (see WP:LINKVIO). Such requests will likely be summarily rejected.

    There is no automated notification system in place for the results of requests, and you will not be notified when your request has a response.     If you have a source that you would like to add to the spam-whitelist, but you are uncertain that it meets Wikipedia's guideline on reliability, please ask for opinions on the Reliable sources noticeboard, to confirm that it does meet that guideline, before submitting your whitelisting request here. In your request, link to the confirming discussion on that noticeboard.

    Likewise, if you have an external link that you are uncertain meets Wikipedia's guideline on external links, please get confirmation on the External links noticeboard before submitting your whitelisting request here.

    If your whitelist request falls under one of these two categories, the admins will be more willing to have the source whitelisted if you can achieve consensus at one of the above noticeboards.

    Outtake from the Reception section of Bouchra (draft) at AFC, from September 25. From what I've assumed, Fakewhale is an otherwise legit art site (albeit with an occasional aside on the NFT movement).

    In case any on board here are asking/wondering, Bouchra is an adult computer-animated film with animal characters, touted as Morocco's first animated feature.     I want to include this link on the Healthline article. It serves as a self-admitted source that Healthline.com uses AI to help generate articles. The other available sources I can find state that the parent company Red Ventures uses AI generated articles, but do not enumerate this website specifically.     sci-hub

    Ltbdl, due to how the spam whitelist works, we are unable to whitelist the root domain without whitelisting every single page under that domain. However, after a quick guess, I found that the /index path also leads to the home page, so I will change the spam whitelist filter entry for Sci-Hub from \bsci-hub\.\w+/about\b to \bsci-hub\.\w+/index\b. — Newslinger talk 16:51, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    I used a thread below to remove them. Who has come up with the idea to use $-ended domain links for this? First domains are often part of the abuse, and these allow circumventing the blacklist.     Susquehanna Poll

    Used in January–August 2016 statewide opinion polling for the 2016 United States presidential election. The article link has already been WP:DEADLINK repaired. According to the WP:DEADLINK guidance, the original link still belongs in the citation template, so this will continue to be a problem until it is whitelisted. The source itself seems to be a reliable political poll result page, not available anywhere else as far as I can see. Ilvekset (talk) 13:19, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    • The GravityLight page contained this URL until October 2025, when it was mangled by a nonsense edit [1]. I tried to simply undo the edit, but the reversion was blocked by the spam check.
    • The link goes to a crowdfunding page for the product that is the topic of the page. The campaign ended nearly a decade ago, so it's purpose is purely historical, to provide context about the design of the product and its public reception.
    • This isn't the only indiegogo.com url in the page, but I assume it's the one that is triggering the check. Just in case, this url maybe also needs to be whitelisted in order to save the page?

    • This webpage is the best (and possibly only) one available to source the fact that the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino (where the website will be used) is located along the northwestern coast of Aruba. In addition to verifying this fact, the page can be very useful to readers, especially for those who intend to stay at the resort. As I can see, the domain was blacklisted due to the actions of a user which were committed more than eight years ago. The user's last edit was done on August 2022, more than three years ago. I am not affiliated with that user whatsoever.
    @Uricoh: no Declined, this is not the best or only source for the information, it is already in the geohack coordinates where you can see it, or in the official website of the hotel. Advertising or informing for readers who may want to stay there is not the function of a (or this) reference, and also that is already in the hotel own page or could/should be incorporated.
    This was only 8 years ago, with the sockmaster being here still a mere 3 years ago (and you don't know if they did not start fresh on a new sock). I have just declined a case where the (self-declared) site owners were here trying to delist their useless websites after 17 years.     In an interview by Elle (magazine) on November 26, 2025,[2] Keery said Wikipedia listed him from Costa Rica and the birthday April 24, 2025 were wrong (at the time on Stranger Things first set, around 2016). Contrarily, from his Wikipedia page's revision history never listed him from Costa Rica, but the birthday was indeed April 24, 2025, due to from the Famous Birthdays source at the time.[3]. The source then got deleted cause the website got blacklisted, and now the ref source for this is from AP News in 2023,[4] which is probably got it from iMDb or other media outlets.[5][6] Keery refused to say the correct date in the interview. So, if the interview be considered WP:PRIMARY, cause Keery may just joking (considering Keery also said using the birthday date as passwords), the main secondary source for the date now is from the AP News source.

    Therefore, requesting the Famous Birthdays link (and the archived link) about Joe Keery to be whitelisted on the article for timeline/historical purpose, as the oldest known source for the birthday date (and Costa Rica thing), that leading to current AP News source.     Heritage Foundation source for Index of Economic Freedom

    • The Wikipedia page "List of freedom indices" at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_freedom_indices has a table of 4 indices, including the Heritage Foundation's Index of Economic Freedom. At the moment, the listed URL for its "2025" scores goes to a 1998 archive page selling the hardcopy of the list; but heritage.org is blacklisted (the Deprecated sources page says this was because of Heritage plans to doxx Wikipedia editors, but does suggest whitelisting certain pages may be OK), so this cannot be updated. Editors have nevertheless put in the 2025 scores. The Wikipedia article notes the indices are "according to their own various definitions of the term". If the index numbers are thought worth displaying on Wikipedia, then a link to the source (which will make finding an up-to-date version in 2026 easier) seems worth having too. If heritage.org is so bad that nothing from it can be linked to, then surely the entire index should be ignored as well?

The Kickstarter has ended over a decade ago, so it cannot be taken as promotional; they cannot get money through the link anymore.     Hello....I am here requesting for the whitelisting of a particular article from an blacklisted website dailyhunt.in. The particular link is a 1-to-1 mirror/syndication of a deleted Hindustan Times article, which covers the final BO figures for many of the highest grossing Indian Bengali films. The link is important because the original HT link now redirects to their homepage and it hasn't been archived. But, it becomes all the more crucial because, it is the only WP:RS which provides the final box office figures for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th film at the List of highest-grossing Indian Bengali films. This link is also required to be cited beside the BO of the films in their individual pages' infobox. I have made a deep search.....there are no other RS that covers the box office for those films. It was the only one but wasn't archived then....and now, we have the article at a blacklisted site....the last option supposedly. Requesting whitelisting only for this particular link.     xyz.pl is a Polish news website launched in October 2024 by Polish businessman Grzegorz Nawacki (example of coverage by Polish media). It has been cited as a source by other Polish-language news websites. Some examples:

    • Zając, Łukasz (4 January 2026). "Wojna a zdrowie psychiczne żołnierzy. Wnioski dla Ukrainy i Polski". Defence24 (in Polish). Takie dane na początku września podał portal xyz.pl. [Such data was published by the xyz.pl portal at the beginning of September.]
    • "Walka o prezesurę PZU SA na ostatniej prostej". gu.com.pl (in Polish). 23 September 2025. Według źródeł XYZ.pl nowy prezes prawdopodobnie będzie wybrany na trwającą już kadencję zarządu, która zakończy się nie później niż do 30 czerwca 2026 r.     • "Brzoska chce z własnej kieszeni finansować polskie AI". wGospodarce (in Polish). 28 November 2025. Jestem gotów zainwestować nawet 100 mln euro w polską gigafabrykę AI – deklaruje Rafał Brzoska, założyciel i prezes InPost w rozmowie na portalu xyz.pl [I am ready to invest up to €100 million in a Polish AI gigafactory, declares Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost, in an interview on the xyz.pl portal.]

    The website's owner, Grzegorz Nawacki [pl], as well as some of its editors, such as Bogdan Góralczyk [pl], have pages on the Polish Wikipedia.

    Overall it seems to be a collateral damage caused by the broad "xyz" blacklist. I thus request that the "xyz" block be overridden for this specific website. It publishes helpful news pieces in both Polish and English. Brat Forelli🦊 09:05, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

    Bit different to the normal requests here; requesting this specific google forms link is whitelisted in the User Talk namespace.

    This was a survey link delivered by MediaWiki message delivery on behalf of m:Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand to approx 50 user talk pages; you can see the original message sent to my talk page here.

    The inclusion of the link means the posts can not be archived, which is not great when using a script to archive multiple messages at once, as they're removed from your talk and then aren't published to the archive subpages. Thanks, Nil🥝 21:32, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

    Trying to add a ref to unodc.org, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and getting url blacklist error.

    Error message: Blacklisting indicates past problems with the link, so any requests should clearly demonstrate how inclusion would benefit Wikipedia. The following link has triggered a protection filter: c.org Either that exact link, or a portion of it (typically the root domain name) is currently blocked.

    Archiving impediment

    I am attempting to publish the User talk:Roman Spinner/Archive 8 (2020 and 2021) portion of User talk:Roman Spinner in the same manner as I have archived the previous sections such as User talk:Roman Spinner/Archive 1 (2006 and 2007) or the most recent one User talk:Roman Spinner/Archive 9 (2022 and 2023). However, I am prevented from saving User talk:Roman Spinner/Archive 8 (2020 and 2021) by a warning that somewhere within the scores of postings in 2020 and 2021 is the blacklisted link filesusr.com. I have deleted my talk page postings from 2020 and 2021 and would like to archive them in the same manner as User talk:Roman Spinner/Archive 1 (2006 and 2007) or User talk:Roman Spinner/Archive 9 (2022 and 2023), but I cannot even find the blacklisted link filesusr.com within the huge mass of postings.
