Suspected Sockpuppet(s) of Rathura Jemican

Newly registered, these accounts swiftly engaged in edits after registration. They participated in an edit war, unexpectedly causing damage and vandalism to pages, which is highly unusual.

1st account 1 second account 2

3rd newly created sock, (User:Xegma11) registered like a hour ago targeted articles with unusual tags, 3 3rd sock account sending me abusive threats in( Hindi )claiming that I am cyber Eye pretending to be someone else 🙄🙄,

these accounts are the same, targeting @Cyber.Eyes.2005 and anyone interacting with that editor. It seems quite clear.

Mohamed Aarab Accounts

These three accounts consistently recreate the advertising article Mohamed Aarab (Logs). Their edits mainly focus on creating and editing this particular page. The latest creation was under the title Mohamed Aarab (musician) (Logs). I think these 2 accounts are user multiple accounts and they are connected to each other i have seen that User:SaneFlint is only creating and editing Pakistan related articles only same like User:Cyber.Eyes.2005 as we know that User:Cyber.Eyes.2005 belongs to Pakistan according to her User page. then i have seen User:SaneFlint Global logs at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Pirjhando this user is blocked for Sock Puppeting in English Wikipedia but the strange thing is in his/her Sock puppet list a account is connected User:CyberSpace192 similar username as User:Cyber.Eyes.2005 then i checked more about this account User:CyberSpace192 then i found this account is created on 28 March 2023 and also blocked on Same day and account user:Cyber.Eyes.2005 is created on 19 March 2023 only 9 Days before of User:CyberSpace192 is this strange ? and both accounts only Edits and Tried to create on Muslim Relegious Pages or edits them. I am Sure that these 2 accounts are interconnected to each other. So i Requiest a Check User to investigate this case. I have also one more name but i am not sure about that account that is why i am not mentioning his/her name on this sock puppet list. --Rathura Jemican (talk) 19:50, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yet again, another "account" targeting users blocked on English Wikipedia.
Unfounded Evidence: Contrary to the claim, I don't primarily edit Pakistan or Islam-related articles. In fact, these topics don't even constitute a small part of my edits. User:SaneFlint has a separate investigation case page on English Wikipedia, here, even EnWiki Checkusers confirming we're "not related". I will leave the rest for the Checkuser and Admins to decide. Hello all, the two users SaneFlint, and Cyber.Eyes.2005 are unrelated, there is no IP overlap. There is no user CyberSpace192. Having simliar intersts is no reason for blocking anyone. Eptalon (talk) 20:48, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Full sock puppet group report for those tracking User:Dotdotcomma and User:Cyber.Eyes.2005

These accounts have been targeting me and User:Cyber.Eyes.2005, after marking a number of articles for QD. First one is not blocked currently.

These accounts have several patterns:

 • Using the term "deletation" and "Sir" and "Respected editor"
 • Adding (entrepreneur) or (author) to create a previously deleted article
 • Target my article creations
 • Recreate/contribute/comment to articles that I have been a part of to make me seem like a sock puppet

New user(s) at RFDs etc. using "deletation"

Bathew Mads Fomo (BMF, former name is "Botherder") is a new user with many actions at RFDs. They are not related/invited to any of these discussions so there is no reason to assume them to be their first step. I have noticed several overlaps with recently blocked users. First this user is using a non-dictionary term "deletation" (special:diff/9255394). This doesn't seem to be a widely known term, just used among few users. At this project, Simonsmichel (already blocked) has repeated the usage of this term (Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#User:_Dotdashmeredith_Marking_mass_Deletation_Tags_on_Random_articles and special:diff/9253577). I don't think different users will use a very rare non-dictionary term which doesn't seem to be a slang or common typo of another word. In addition, BMF's vote at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Kazi Maruf is an overlap with Borbarry. I will also note that BMF's actions are made by tracking edits of Cyber.Eyes.2005 and dotdashmeredith, which is the recent trend of the block evaders that we are facing (including Simonsmichel mentioned above), many RFD votes and edits are made where Cyber.Eyes.2005 and/or dotdashmeredith are involved. MathXplore (talk) 13:53, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sock Cyber.Eyes.2005

There is great evidence that user:Cyber.Eyes.2005 is a sockpuppet of a blocked master user:Muhafiz-e-Pakistan Please see the comparison by Interaction_tool ([4]). Both accounts made edits at the page Shekhani dialect Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([5]) | Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([6]), also at the Madaklashti page Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([7]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([8]), they also engaged in making changes at the page Balti language Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([9]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([10]), at Burushaski page Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([11]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([12]), at Domaaki language Master ([13]) sock ([14]), further at the page also Ladakhi User:Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([15]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([16]), both were also engaged in making edits at Shina people ([17]), also at Nuristani languages Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([18]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([19]), at Azad Kashmir Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([20]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([21]) and also at India Muhafiz-e-Pakistan ([22]) Cyber.Eyes.2005 ([23]).103.138.222.211 (talk) 08:47, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not again! Third CU case on me within a week. Both User:Muhafiz-e-Pakistan and I are blocked on En Wiki, and we each have separate investigation case pages, See Muhafiz-e-Pakistan and Cyber.Eyes.2005, so we are not related on English Wikipedia as well.
Also, I'm curious about one thing; aren't all alts/sockpuppets shown (if any) when doing a CU check once, or should every suspected individual pass through it? Cyber.Eyes.2005 (talk) 09:04, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh no @Cyber.Eyes.2005! I'm absolutely sick of these brand new users just coming in and doing this. Could we propose a rule that prevents brand-new users from adding on to Requests for checkuser + Vandalism in progress? Multiple users (likely sock puppets) are doing this to me and @Cyber.Eyes.2005. dotdashmeredith (talk) 09:07, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would also like to add that a number of the IPs that target us start with 103.########. It's clear that they are from the same area. dotdashmeredith (talk) 09:08, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It will only be examine by the administration no one here to Target anyone it's a question of evidences and more than 17 evidences are provided to proove that Cyber.Eyes.2005 is a sock of Muhafiz-e-Pakistan and for IP ranges starting from 103... Or whatever or the all SPI requests again Cyber.Eyes.2005 can be examine by only Admintrators so don't get to be feared let the Admins decided just on the basis of provided evidence thank you happy editing. 103.138.222.211 (talk) 09:16, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Cyber.Eyes.2005 yes you and Muhafiz-e-Pakistan both were blocked at en_Wiki and both were proved to be same at en Wiki at SPI investigation but here this request is certainly only about Simple Wikipedia not about En Wiki because both are quite different and I am not mentioned anything about En Wiki just provided more than 17 evidences that you're a sock of a blocked master User: Muhafiz-e-Pakistan 103.138.222.211 (talk) 09:12, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@103.138.222.211 why was requesting for checkuser your first action on the Simple Wikipedia? Tell me: what's your actual account? dotdashmeredith (talk) 09:19, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dotdashmeredith you might have conflict of interest or any kind of association with Cyber.Eyes.2005 but you don't have any kind of authority to ask such kind of irrelevant questions here. But for your kind information you or any admin here can see my Global contribution from my IP since November to December. So it is more good to decide admins on the basis of provided evidences weather Muhafiz-e-Pakistan is not a master of Cyber.Eyes.2005 or not. 103.138.222.211 (talk) 09:25, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
From a behavioural standpoint I doubt that Cyber.Eyes.2005 is a sock of Muhafiz-e-Pakistan. From what I see they both edit similar articles because of shared interests in languages of South Asia. Otherwise their behaviours are different. Besides, if Cyber.Eyes.2005 were a sock of Muhafiz-e-Pakistan, she would have been spotted by an enwiki checkuser a year ago. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 09:31, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Muhafiz-e-Pakistan was blocked in September 2022. So, there's no checkuser info on that account any more. As to Cyber.Eyes.2005, she was recently unblocked, and cleared of accusations of sockpuppetry on this Wikipedia. Editing similar articles, in good faith, it is possible that users edit articles that other users have edited as well. This in itself, is no grounds from running a Checkuser. Eptalon (talk) 09:27, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Eptalon You're still sure even when there are more than 17 pages or articles where these both user were engaged in editing same pages.? Even these both two accounts blocked at en Wiki for being identical to each other. No amount of checkuser fishing is going to change that. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 09:35, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Fehufanga, @Eptalon I would like to request to run A CU for these both accounts that I have mentioned at the lead because I have provided more then 17 evidence to proove these two accounts belonged to single person as far as I know it is not necessary to decide which account is older or wich one is new even a two year old account can also be a master of new account but these all can only be decide on the bases of Interaction_Tool, CU_Tool and Proxy/IP_ to check both accounts used the same IPs or not. I have prooved by myself that Cyber.Eyes.2005 is a sock of Muhafiz-e-Pakistan with Wikipedia's Tool Interaction-Timeline tool same account edits same pages, with same behavior same edits. 103.138.222.211 (talk) 09:44, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is a technology called 'data mining', which will allow you to find similarities or patterns, in almost any data set that is large enough. I think this isn't helpful at all. Cyber.Eyes.2005 is a new editor on this Wikipedia. At the moment, her edits are constructive. Even if we had the tools to do it, what good would it be to connect her to a problem-editor blocked over a year ago? Eptalon (talk) 09:59, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

.caiify3623. and others

The first two accounts were already found to be sockpuppets by a checkuser on enwiki. The third has been acting in a similar way, and is involved in disputes only with the first account. (Yes, they seem to be disagreeing with each other, but this is true with the first and second accounts as well.) These accounts have been pushing unsourced viewpoints such as an extensive definition of "microstate", and labeling the US as a Spanish-speaking country. All of these accounts create articles about living Russian people (or people from surrounding countries) in a very recognizable way. Support the need for a CU fr33kman 00:56, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First part (up to KirkikUzbek): I see that there are no overlapping IPs, but that the users generally only have a few edits, which are focused on one, or a few articles. Paid editing is possible, but it's hard to prove. So from a Checkuser perspective, there's likely little we can do. Eptalon (talk) 19:12, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In the other batches, there were two or three pairs of users with overlapping ips, which I blocked. Eptalon (talk) 19:33, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do not have a problem with requests from an IP, but without any any evidence this is asking for a "fishing expedition" which is against the CU rules. Peterdownunder (talk) 09:02, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
i think he is a Sock Puppet because after banning on English Wikipedia he started good edits on Simple English Wiki and after completing 500 positive edits he immediately request for Rollbacker rights on simple english Wikipedia. He has a huge record on Sock Puppetry by using Multiple accounts he is a master of Sock Puppetry
 1. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cyber.Eyes.2005/Archive - Wikipedia 2. Global account information for Cyber.Eyes.2005 - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I think after getting rollbacker rights he will misuse Wikipedia for his personal profit. so i request CU to investigate this case as soon as possible. after doing positive edits you are trying to get rights here after getting rights you gonna misuse your rights because i have viewed your past history on English wikipedia mam Rajan Varun 14522 (talk) 11:20, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Many people come to simplewiki to fix their mistakes, so we have a more keen eye here (per WP:ONESTRIKE). I don't think she is actively making bad edits on this wikipedia, more on the lines of just making edits in good faith. A lot of people dont know about some subjects and so would want to delete it or do something with it. We all do mistakes sometimes. But actively protesting against someone to be CU blocked just because they think they are gonna vandalize with rollback permissions? It's not gonna happen, enwiki is NOT simplewiki, we are a whole different wiki with our own guidelines (Like I said, many come here after a block/ban on other wikis, to try to fix their mistakes and such). Blaming someone for their mistakes and pinpointing it on their ban at enwiki is just straight-up rude. RiggedMint 13:52, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So it means any user who is blocked in English Wikipedia, He/she can do edits in Simple English wiki specially Sock Puppet? Because as compare to english wikipedia simple is easy. and what surety for that after getting Rights in simple english wikipedia he or she will not use their rights for their personal use>?Rajan Varun 14522 (talk) 13:58, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
They cant do that, if they do, they get their perms removed and blocked per WP:ONESTRIKE. They usually come here to fix their mistakes to prove an unblock request, I've seen a few here (like Rathfelder and Cyber.Eyes.2005) and they're not doing anything bad here at all, I doubt she will abuse rollback. RiggedMint 14:03, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Rathfelder is a good and hardworking editor. i have seen his good and positive edits in Simple Wikipedia. and you are also a good and polite contributor in Wikipedia. my only question is that if after getting Rights on simple Wikipedia if he or she will do edits for their own profit. then their rights can be revoked?Rajan Varun 14522 (talk) 14:08, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Massive Asian BLP creators

Recently, many Asian BLP creators have been blocked per CU action by Bsadowski1. After this enforcement, Shweta Tiwari Palampur (STP) and Mathew_14552 has been created and I estimate these 2 accounts as block evasion. The remarkable points of these massive Asian BLP creators are

 • Main focus is south Asian BLPs (especially actors and businesspeople etc.)
 • Intro copied from enwiki without attribution
 • Added categories are just copied from enwiki or none, violate WP:CATGENDER, WP:MOS (such as film vs movie)
 • They write the "Other websites" section as "Other Website" or "Other Websites"
 • They add authority control, sort keys, stub templates in one line
 • Sometimes create south Asian BLPs with no interwiki counterparts, including QD G11 cases

Since they are making pages in similar style and focus, I assume these accounts belong to a same personality. Since there are too many blocked users involved in this case, I will only list up blocked users with non-deleted contributions so others can easily compare their edit patterns. Mushroomi! and FroggyFroppy

Mushroomi! creates Peach Aviation about a Japanese airline, then FroggyFroppy edits it. FroggyFroppy creates Vanilla Air about a Japanese airline, then Mushroomi! edits it. When Mushroomi! welcomes FroggyFroppy, FroggyFroppy responds that Mushroomi! is a sockpuppet, then reports Mushroomi! as a sockpuppet at Simple Talk. It may help to note that the account FroggyFroppy was created after Mushroomi! got blocked on enwiki by a checkuser, and FroggyFroppy only has edits on simplewiki. Kk.urban (talk) 17:15, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inconclusive, CU information points one way, and behavioral eveidence points another way. Currently, neither of them is blocked on SEWP, and so far, I haven't seen bad behavior. Simply editing a page that another user created isn't grounds for blocking; also, if you knew that you were impersonating both users, what good might it do to report that the other user is a sock (of yourself)? - Admins are ofc free to block, but right now, I don't think my action as a checkuser is needed. Amansharma111

Amansharma111 has a fairly large sockfarm on EN (see w:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Amansharma111/Archive) and is known for UPE and promotional articles. They are also creating articles here now, and I believe these are the two most recent examples.

 • Anamika Vishwakarma 10 created Ujjawal Trivedi which was quickly deleted as a promotional articles. On EN, the page log [32] shows it has been created twice and deleted both times as G5, created by socks of Amansharma111. One of those socks, Nylonfrut has a single edit here at Vandana Sharma (Author) which was G5'd. See page logs at [33] and [34], lots of G5 deletions. Given the same article created on both wikipedia's but with different accounts and with the EN account CU blocked, I think it's highly likely to be an Amansharma111 sock.
 • Galbox Realme1 is similar, creating Thejo Kumari Amudala here, but on EN this article has been created three times, [35], each time quickly deleted as G5 as the creator was a sock of Amansharma111 (including Nylonfrut that created the Ujjawal Trivedi article on EN mentioned above). I think this is also highly likely to be another Amansharma111 sock.

If you look at the EN SPI page, you'll see that finding multiple socks is very common. Amansharma111 will often create a new account for a single article, then abandon that account. I know that several of the EN blocked socks are also blocked here, but others aren't. Hope it's not too crazy... Ravensfire (talk) 02:09, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The exact same has also been happening with Ebb/194, Bob/69 and Fekejer/185 so there's clearly socking going on (could be tag teaming but I doubt it as these edits are happening at the exact same time and the exact same date so without spilling the beans I believe these all to be one person), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:20, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Murders of Linda Gibson and Cody Lee Garrett RfD

In the Murders of Linda Gibson RfD There are a host of things that may need looked at. The article up for debate was created by a user who is indef blocked from En as a check user block. While there are a few reason that could take place, one is more likely.. This editor is also one of those in support of keeping. There are several other accounts saying keep. The issue is that for the most part, they are all single use accounts. They have no activity here outside this issue. These two accounts have a lot of overlap at A House A Little Too Quiet and their enwiki draft version, and both of them are kicked out of frwiki. Opkrtwp244

Apologies if this turns into a rabbit hole...

These editors appears to be a part of spam/paid editing effort that was recently blocked on commons (see c:Commons:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/Hariramaswami). The three accounts I've listed have all edited here, all creating highly promotional articles across a very wide range of subjects. There's some internal overlap here, with Opkrtwp244 creating an article [39], followed by Ramesverma7 a few hours later adding more material [40]. Ramesverma7 created a different article [41] with Akash adding an image [42]. There's been a more than a few highly promotional articles created on India related topics as the first (or nearly first) edit. This feels like a paid editing group, but enough overlap to tie several accounts together. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 14:58, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ravensfire: In addition to the above, I'm seeing Nkj59211 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · SUL · CA · checkuser (log)) as a potential sock, who created Deepak Thanwala. The image used in that article was uploaded by c:User:Ramneek-dhaliwal, who was likely to the group containing Akash Mukherjee Edits in the Commons results. I'd be very surprised if this was totally unrelated, as the article was published less than seven hours after the image was uploaded to Commons. Obviously, we still need a checkuser to see if there's a technical connection, but I think that this is a behavioral match. Red-tailed hawk (talk) 21:55, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think we have another user in this categorization. Their focus is pointed at south Asian BLPs, with same kind of blames (increasing his edit counts, increasing his number of edits) against our editor, please compare special:diff/8980785 and special:diff/8901032 (this is from a locked user). MathXplore (talk) 12:53, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will second this request. Their edit at [43] to an article created by Akash Mukherjee Edits is interesting that someone brand new would find and correct the capitalization of a source. They're also actively defending a promotional article also created by Akash Mukherjee Edits. At best, there's meatpuppetry from a PR group trying to post articles here for non-notable people. I suspect they are avoiding the main EN Wikipedia because they would be spotted, articles deleted and accounts blocked very quickly. Ravensfire (talk) 02:34, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose its worth wondering why Simple Wiki doesnt have the same reputation Trade (talk) 15:19, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not as many editors, admins and CU's, basically. And especially those familiar with the ugly paid article mess that is the Indian media market. It's easier to sneak something through when someone doesn't realize that the glowing in-depth article is really just a glorified press-release. Ravensfire (talk) 14:38, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will add one more user with similar behavior. MathXplore (talk) 12:00, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Angerxiety This might sound pedantic but bans are different from blocks. A ban is a formal editing restriction placed on a user. Blocks are the technical restrictions placed on the user that prevents them from actually editing. On simplewiki, the only way to get banned is through a community discussion. The Lachskai account was never blocked or banned here.

This is the exact same issue that is happening in the deletion discussion for the article Tracy Chapele. All three IPs voted to either weak deleted or redirect. What is very suspicious about this is that all three IPs started editing this month, have only edited the article or it's deletion discussion, and all have less than 10 edits. I feel like whoever is doing this is trying to deceive by pretending to want to delete the article. AJ (talk) 03:59, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They have the same ISP, and use the same browser, but there's no IP overlap. What I see is that IPs are relatively dynamic, but again, I don't get them both in a "close range", on the same day. Most I can do is a class C network (256 addresses, the first three of the four numbers of an IPv4 address are the same), but about a week apart. So, perhaps friends, but likely not the same user. Article deleted per Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Marvelous MMW has been created again. This is a possible block evasion of the former creators. MathXplore (talk) 16:44, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The last time the article was created was about a year ago, this is too far away for CU to be useful. I do however think that like with many of these likely self-promotion-articles, there are 2-3 people pushing the point of view. So, if it is not the same user, it will be a close friend. Eptalon (talk) 17:36, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The first user that I mentioned in this section has been blocked. Although a new user is preparing recreation at userspace, possible block evasion? MathXplore (talk) 11:26, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What I see is that the two users (Panther Lee & Blessed Article) don't have overlapping IP addresses (-> not the same user), but they are often "operating from the same subnet". So, as predicted above, it likely is a group of people trying to push some content (about an artist). "Blessed Article" currently has no mainspace edits, but for some time he/she had a copy of the deleted article about the musician in userspace. He/She later blanked that page which was deleted. So: I invite anyone to watch closely, but I haven't blocked "Blessed Article" yet. Eptalon (talk) 20:03, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is very interesting. Recently I was active in Wikinews. At that time, I was monitoring the RC. Then I saw the same edits with the edit summary mentioning "loser" term, if I recall correctly. MF23 shows up to create Nick Jr. articles that get QD'd so same area as LTA. Other only has a couple non area edits, but no idea if they have deleted edits which weren't noted. Pure Evil (talk) 21:20, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There isn't much to do here: the edits of the main LTA account and the confirmed sock are too old (2009), MF210 last edited 2014. (also too old). And if I have only one user left on the list, this would result in a fishing trip, which the foundation does not like. Clarification: Mariofan2023 cannot be compared to stale accounts listed. However, a prudent CU would look at the behavior and realize this is a specific LTA whom was recently active. With that in mind, the CU would be able to execute the check based on that information and would have found and been able to confirm the sock master and blocked it. As the Mariofan accounts are stale, I can't see much info on them. But there was plenty of info to connect this account to another LTA which resulted in a block. Farhan Rana Rajpoot

Estimating by enwiki behaviour and user name style, I think this is a possible block/lock evasion of User:Farhan Rana Rajpoot Artist. MathXplore (talk) 05:43, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, The Land of Skulls, a page created by this user suggests the connection with Category:Suspected sockpuppets of Farhan Rana Rajpoot Artist, making my guess more reasonable. MathXplore (talk) 07:48, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

RfD voters at Angel Valeriev Tsvetkov

Both accounts are voting Keep at this RfD, checked guc and both edit similarly. I find it strange how they both decided to start voting Keep all of a sudden after making next to no edits previously. Hockeycatcat (talk) (changes) 12:18, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
