Halloween is celebrated across the United States: every single city is home to scores of events that are advertised and collated in local news. This article is entirely tidbits of generic trivia with nothing that's actually encyclopedically significant or any substance that brings together an article explaining why this is a coherent topic that needs a standalone page. Like holy crap, Spirit Halloween has over 1,500 stores each fall, many in Portland and elsewhere in Oregon, so why in the world is it relevant to list one specific location? Every city has haunted houses, what's the point of just name-dropping a few? Every amusement park has Halloween events, everywhere hosts trick-or-treating events, everywhere has horror film screenings, countless artists do themed works. A selection of generic local event listings with unnecessarily specific examples from the last few years doesn't make a cohesive, notable article with substance and lasting significance. A skating rink "has played Halloween music", who cares? Reywas92Talk 15:21, 14 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
