Why
[edit]Did you make this revert? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Peace_%26_Dialogue_Leadership_Initiative&diff=prev&oldid=1277314360
It obviously was not vandalism. Yet you reverted - without any edit summary. That is not appropriate. See Wikipedia:FIES.
It obviously was appropriate text. Simply read the first sentence of the article.
I would urge you to self-revert. 2603:7000:2101:AA00:44F9:2D4:FCC9:BE1D (talk) 23:09, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

[edit]News and updates for administrators from the past month (February 2025).

- A request for comment is open to discuss whether AI-generated images (meaning those wholly created by generative AI, not human-created images modified with AI tools) should be banned from use in articles.

 - A request for comment is open to gain consensus on whether future administrator elections should be held.

 - Non-administrators can now check which pages are able to be deleted using the Special:Nuke tool. T376378

Hi Cactusisme! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Sam Sulek and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Justjourney (talk) 23:02, 6 March 2025 (UTC)

Rollback granted
[edit]
Hi Cactusisme. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
 - Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
 - Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
 - Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Joyous! Noise! 03:10, 13 March 2025 (UTC)

Resubmission: Draft:Junghun Choi – revised with inline citations and reliable secondary sources
[edit]Hello,
I’m following up regarding the draft Draft:Junghun Choi, which was previously declined due to a lack of inline citations and sufficient secondary sources.
The article has now been substantially revised and improved:
- All major claims are now supported with inline <ref> citations. - Reliable secondary sources have been added, including:
• Fortune Korea • Chosun Biz • The Korea Daily • AMCHAM Korea • Golf Inc. (via Sports Chosun)
- Duplicate or unreliable references have been removed. - The draft follows the guidelines for Biographies of Living Persons (BLP).
Kindly review the updated draft at your convenience.
Thank you very much! 방명호 (talk) 14:56, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- @방명호 It was already reviewed by another reviewer, who had left some comments there. Please take a look. I also suggest reading through sources. Thanks. Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 09:26, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your follow-up and suggestion.
 - I have carefully reviewed the previous comments and made substantial improvements to the draft based on that feedback.
 - Specifically:
 - - All sources have now been converted to inline citations using <ref> and the
{{cite news}}: Empty citation (help) template, per WP:CITE guidelines. - - The article relies exclusively on independent, secondary sources such as BusinessKorea, Korea JoongAng Daily, Yonhap News, and The Korea Herald—there are no interviews, press releases, or social media links.
 - - Any primary or non-independent sources were removed, and the article content was restructured to ensure neutrality and verifiability.
 - Please let me know if any additional improvements are required. I sincerely appreciate your time and guidance.
 - Thank you once again for reviewing this submission.
 - All content has been thoroughly updated to meet Wikipedia's verifiability and notability standards. Please feel free to suggest any additional improvements. I truly appreciate your time and consideration.
 - Respectfully,
 - 방명호

- Following an RfC, administrator elections were permanently authorized on a five-month schedule. The next election will be scheduled soon; see Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections for more information. This is an alternate process to the RfA process and does not replace the latter.
 - An RfC was closed with consensus to allow editors to opt-out of seeing "sticky decorative elements". Such elements should now be wrapped in {{sticky decoration wrapper}}. Editors who wish to opt out can follow the instructions at WP:STICKYDECO.
 - An RfC has resulted in a broad prohibition on the use of AI-generated images in articles. A few common-sense exceptions are recognized.

- A New Pages Patrol backlog drive is happening in May 2025 to reduce the backlog of articles in the new pages feed. Sign up here to participate!

- @NeoGaze R u sure thus should be rejected and not declined. This does not violate any policies? Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 23:03, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Cactusisme Hello Cactus. I decided to reject the draft because the subject itself is not notable, and there has been little improvement since its first decline. If it was article it would have been almost certainly speedily deleted for its lack of notability. The fact it is also clearly derived after the output of an AI does not help. If I saw signs of the draft improving I would have probably declined it.
 - I hope I have resolved your questions do not feel discouraged! I made plenty of mistakes when I made my first two articles, you just have to find a more suitable topic. NeoGaze (talk) 23:22, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Shreykanani1001/sandbox
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Shreykanani1001/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- Least Action (talk) 04:13, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

My submission at Articles for creation: Video Game Museum of CADPA (June 3) has not been accepted
[edit]I recently received your feedback indicating that some of the sources cited in my draft "Video Game Museum of CADPA" may not be considered reliable. I truly want to improve the draft in accordance with Wikipedia's standards, but I am unsure which specific sources are in question.Several of the references I included are from well-established Chinese media outlets and official websites, as well as one from a reputable Korean news organization. These are considered credible and authentic within our local context.I would be very grateful if you could kindly clarify which specific sources are deemed unreliable, and provide guidance on how I might revise or replace them to meet Wikipedia's requirements. Your help would mean a lot to me. 周也 (talk) 03:47, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

- Are you saying that I lack a primary source? Or are you suggesting that some of the four secondary sources I cited are unreliable? If it's the former, I'd like to point out that the information from Baidu (China’s largest search engine) is generally considered trustworthy in China. However, Wikipedia classifies it as a deprecated source. In that case, should I still include the Baidu citation? If it’s the latter, please directly point out which source you consider unreliable, because from my perspective, they are all reliable—the media outlets that produced them are reputable. 周也 (talk) 08:21, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Request for Second Review After Edits
[edit]Hi @Cactusisme, thank you for your earlier review and feedback. I’ve fully rewritten the draft with a strict focus on neutrality and encyclopedic tone. The new version removes all promotional language and now cites multiple independent, reliable third-party sources: Jewish News (UK) Jewish Press (USA) KosherLDN (industry-specific news) Business Mole (partnership announcement)
All claims are now directly backed by these sources, and there is no reliance on the company’s own website beyond the homepage. I am encouraged to see a kosher food business working to improve access and innovation in a sector that has often lagged digitally. That's why I have been trying to create a page on this. I'd be very grateful if you would consider taking another look when you have time.
Many thanks!
Eph EphGross (talk) 11:40, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- @EphGross You need to declare if you have a Wp:COI with the article. Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 00:35, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
 - You can submit the draft for review if you would like another review, but I suggest on working on something else as it is ‘’highly’’ unlikely it would get accepted Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 02:40, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Cactusisme, Thanks for your response. To clarify: I have no connection to Sabeny.com. I’m not employed by or affiliated with the company in any way.
 - I’m simply a kosher consumer who works in tech and has long been frustrated by the lack of digital innovation in the kosher food space, particularly in the UK. When I came across Sabeny, I saw it as one of the few companies moving things forward, and indeed saw that it has already received some independent coverage.
 - The draft is based entirely on third-party sources. Notably, The Jewish Press which is one one of the oldest and most influential Jewish newspapers in the US, ran a news report on the company’s partnership with Uber Eats, in the context of antisemitism and Jewish safety concerns. Jewish News (UK) and KosherLDN have also all reported on Sabeny. These are both independent publications with editorial standards, and none of the coverage appears to be paid or promotional.
 - I’ve aimed to write in a strictly neutral tone and understand the importance of verifiability and notability. I appreciate your time and guidance in the review process EphGross (talk) 10:01, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
- @EphGross Based on a quick glance, I feel like the Services section could be wp:neutral. I can give a more comprehensive review later, but a bit busy right now. Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 00:34, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
 - A duplicate citation appears in the History section and should be removed. The Services section is too limited and would benefit from more detail on delivery areas, timelines, and operational specifics. In Media coverage, some phrasing—such as describing a service as “safer”—could be interpreted as non-neutral and should be reworded or more clearly attributed. The article also lacks context on Sabeny.com’s position within the broader kosher grocery market, including competitors or scale of operations Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 09:46, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Cactusisme Thanks, will work on it. 92.27.246.58 (talk) 09:48, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
 - Hi @Cactusisme, thanks for your earlier feedback.
 - I’ve now revised the draft to address the points you raised:
 - 1)Removed the duplicate citation
 - 2)Expanded the Services section with more operational detail
 - 3)Reworded the phrasing and ensured attribution
 - 4)Added market context, including competitor references and scale of operation
 - I have also resubmitted the draft for review. If you’re able to take another look when you have time, I would appreciate it.
 - Thanks again EphGross (talk) 12:48, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
- @EphGross another editor reviwed it, try asking that editor for their opinion Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 09:30, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

Regarding Viva (Brazil) page move
[edit]I just noticed at the talk page that you close the discussion of page move as "No consensus". However, aside from the result of discussion, it now appears that the page move from Viva (Brazil) to Viva (Brazilian TV channel) is deemed no longer relevant or moot, because whenever there's a disagreement regarding Viva (Brazil) or Viva (Brazilian TV channel), the channel themselves is now rebranded as Globoplay Novelas (see Telenovelafan215's argument). So, could you evaluated again the result of move discussion, especially about post-June 9 rename as "Globoplay Novelas". 103.111.102.118 (talk) 21:34, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

- Hi, I am pretty sure my decline reason was clear, most of the sources (3/4), were from https://www.lemonde.fr. Good job in fixing that! You can wait for another user to review it. Thanks, Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 10:17, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for compliment. Can't you review it again, since critic was fixed? Thanks in advance, Alceste sur son yacht (talk) 10:36, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- Le monde is like the NYTimes in terms of reputation and all. It might be worth giving it more weight in future reviews. That paper covering the subject probably means other papers are on it s well and it's probably worth it just to accept it even if there aren't as strong sourcing. Also, this particular subject probably meets WP:NPOL as Politicians and judges who have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office.
