Incorrect “correction” to en dash
Hi,
I have reverted your article text edits to dot-matrix display, which while I am sure they were in good faith, were absolutely incorrect. Unfortunately I am unable to revert the article title from the move you performed, since the redirect prevents moving back. This will require assistance to fix.
At Talk:Dot–matrix display#En dash vs hyphen in title I wrote a full explanation, including relevant examples from the very MOS you cited, of why an en dash is incorrect in this instance.

Your reverts of my edits
About your reverts of myedits here and special:Diff/1239445013/1239530065: I did those edits under the policy of biographies of iving people, which states A harmful statement about a small group or organization comes closer to being a BLP problem than a similar statement about a larger group; and when the group is very small, it may be impossible to draw a distinction between the group and the individuals that make up the group.
This is under the section "Legal persons and groups," which is technically about corporations, which can sometimes employ tens (if not hundreds!) of thousands of people. In that context, a band would be on the extreme end of a "very small group." Also, the biography articles without living parameter states that When an article is about many persons (such as a list of persons), the editor needs to see if at least one of the persons is still alive. If they are then living=y should be used. If all persons in the list are dead then living=n should be used.
and WP:BLP states Anyone born within the past 115 years[...]is covered by this policy unless a reliable source has confirmed their death.
In any case, if this band exists (which, they probably do) and is notable (which, as someone who's not a J-rock fan, I find more questionable), so do reliable sources. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 00:24, 10 August 2024 (UTC)

Hi. I'm not sure how to reference my editing. I ( think I've added an author Peter Gibbons ) to notable people on Kildare Ireland page. - @Elj2846 Hello! I would say at most you would need an ISBN for the books. However, I would advise you against adding them to the page since they don't have an article (Peter Gibbons seems to be a different person), and we only put people who already have articles about them on "Notable people" lists.
