My change
Why on earth did you have to do that like that was rude — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:FEA8:A45F:300:DD38:6F30:C1C3:F62 (talk) 01:56, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! You edited in the phrase that are very very very very very very good into the article. This is a subjective opinion, and, as per the Wikipedia policy on having a neutral point of view in articles, I undid your edit as we try to maintain an encyclopedia which is free from personal commentary. If you have any other questions about Wikipedia's policy on the neutral point of view, please don't hesitate to the community Teahouse or myself on this page. MolecularPilot 02:01, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
Under Parallel Skies sources
I think 5 sources are too much? two to three sources are fine most of the sources don't have additional info so no need to put more unless a additional info in one source has it. 122.55.235.122 (talk) 06:51, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I only reverted your edit because you didn't have a summary, I'm actually okay with your rationale that you re-added your edit in with (too many sources).
- You'll have to discuss with "SpringProof" who is the user who reverted the edits the second time (with description).
- Have a great day! MolecularPilot 06:53, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- I already did but he just removed my statement instead of replying. 122.55.235.122 (talk) 07:01, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh! I looked through the history and it says the reason was "Rollback Complaining" so I'm not really sure why your comments were removed as there most definitely should be open discussion about rollbacks/reverts and it is not "complaining" to request this! You were also very polite in your comment.
- I recommend asking at the Teahouse for some help with this as I'm just a new user so don't really understand the full social dynamics of this website. MolecularPilot 07:06, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Ebrahim Lutfalla. We appreciate this, but unfortunately your edit was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. - Sumanuil. Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button
located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:50, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, MolecularPilot,
- Please sign all of your comments on talk pages, noticeboards and deletion discussions so editors don't have to look at the page history to see who made a comment. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:51, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry! Sometimes I get so caught up in thinking about my argument that I forget (and I'm used to VisualEditor which autosigns but AfD needs source editor).
- I'll make sure to double-check in future! :) MolecularPilot 06:53, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
Fixing minor problems after an edit
You don't need to fix small issues immediately after a page is edited. It is very likely the editor will notice them and fix them in the very near future. You can wait some time for the editor to finish. You may ask why the editor would publish their work in progress and not preview their changes. They would publish during the edit to prevent accidental loss of their work. 76.149.22.159 (talk) 08:22, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi!
- Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia and leaving me a message!
- I think you were the editor whose changes I copyedited here: [1].
- If I see your IP address again, I'll now know that you make edits in parts & I'll wait before copyediting.
- For future reference, there's a function called preview intended to check your changes before pressing submit to make sure they are correct - it shouldn't result in any "accidental loss of work".
- I also strongly recommend creating an account!
- Have a nice day! :) MolecularPilot 08:54, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
Rollback

Hi MolecularPilot. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Fastily 20:18, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Thank you and a tiny note
Hello, MolecularPilot,
In theory this edit of yours, for which I thank you, should not have been done the way you did, as you did substantially change your comment after my reply (for which, again, I thank you!) but that could make my following reply appear obscure or awkwardly phrased. Please do not change it, as it's OK with me and with the general meaning (and you have added a note below), but, especially during AfDs where changing one's mind or not is at stake, in general, it's better to follow the recommendations of Wikipedia:REDACTED; you probably knew this, so pardon the pedantic intrusion! Best, -Mushy Yank. 02:27, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

Regarding Submission declined for User:Raghavhere/Great Learning (Company)
MolecularPilot Thank you for looking into the article I appreciate the feedback and need some clarity. The sources mentioned in the aricle are notabile and trustworthy. Infact this was put after reviewing the other articles already approved like CodeChef, Hello English, FIITJEE, Interval Learning, ePathshala, Physics Wallah, Codementor, Testbook, Extramarks, Educomp Solutions, Doubtnut, Scaler (company) and many more. Can you point to more specific things you feel is different than what is already mentioned on these articles that can be fixed. I'm happy to make the necessary changes. Raghavhere (talk) 07:05, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, @Raghavhere:! Thanks you for creating the draft. I declined the submission for now, because while all the references are from reliable sources, they are things like company mergers/sales/buying, the announcement of annual earnings, opening offices, hiring people etc. which fall under a special list which can be found at WP:CORPTRIV. Anything on that list cannot count when determining notability, and, unfortunately all of the current references on your draft cover things on the list. If you can find reliable, independent coverage that's about things not on the list, than I'll be happy to accept the submission. MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 08:43, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- @MolecularPilot Thanks for your reply. I still don't get it how others (mentioned in my original ask) are different than this one. Can you quote and give examples from the already published articles adding references which determining the notability. Unfortunately I'm not able find anything different. I'm might be wrong but honestly I don't see the difference. The whole idea of suggesting the company because in Ed-tech space in India this company is well known but not sure why it is not listed. I have tried collecting the all the reliable and credible sources. I guess the rule applies to all equally and if this is getting rejected then why others are accepted. Raghavhere (talk) 12:47, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, Raghavhere. My apologies, but due to personal circumstances I am unable to commit time to reviewing the other already published articles that you have linked and providing examples of which references demonstrate notability, but you should know that WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS isn't a valid reason for acceptance. If you disagree with my decision, you are welcome to re-submit the article and have it re-reviewed by someone else (who might accept it because they interpret WP:CORPTRIV more liberally or may not know about the guideline). If you would still like someone to point out references or further answer your questions, you may also ask at the AfC help desk (sorry I can't be of much help today!) Thank you for your work on creating articles about Indian ed-tech companies! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 02:25, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

Advice for getting Draft:GoLine approved
Hey @MolecularPilot:! Thanks for taking a look at the article I worked on. I added some new sources independent of GoLine. Your comment also said that "the government reference" was only a passing mention which confused me. I assume you mean the National Transit Database source? That source is a specific profile of the agency, I'm not sure how it only qualifies as a "passing mention"? I'm looking forward to your advice on how to make the article pass muster, thanks! Xismyhero (talk) 08:09, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Xismyhero! By "passing mention", I meant a mention which falls within WP:CORPTRIV - a set of examples of "trivial coverage" about companies which can't count towards notability. My apologies, I usually link to the relevant guidelines when declining AfCs, but evidently forgot this time.
- The reference you've provided specifically falls under the "Standard Notices, Brief Announcements, and Routine Coverage" section, and more specifically under "of quarterly or annual financial results and earning forecasts". As shown on the government website, this report about earnings and ridership data is published every year ("Routine Coverage") and is only about financial results and other statistics.
- Additionally, since the Government run this service (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), the source (along with the actual golineirt.com website that you linked to) are not considered independent of the topic and cannot count towards notability per the guideline for companies - see WP:NCORP.
- I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to ask me any further questions. MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 08:26, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me so soon! The source in discussion is created by a federal agency, which is distinct from the local agency that provides the transportation service. While I understand those may not be notable, they're included simply as citations for specific information after all, I have since added a number of independent sources which discuss GoLine, and I'd appreciate you looking it over and letting me know if those are adequate for notability. I made the article because I found it referenced elsewhere on Wikipedia without any article to link to, such as in Indian River County, Florida and Vero Beach, Florida. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xismyhero (talk • contribs) 08:48, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hey User:Xismyhero! That's so fine, thanks for taking onboard the advice and finding independent sources!
- Unfortunately, I still believe that these fall under WP:CORPTRIV. The article about the new electric busses falls under "of a product or a product line launch" and the article about the longer hours falls under "expanding the business" and the partnership with the hotel is from a WP:PRSOURCE (press release) from the hotel and thus WP:PRIMARY and not independent.
- Sorry - it must seem soooo annoying that there are all these random guidelines preventing the sources you find from counting! I recommend you add a "Bus Service" section to the Indian River County, Florida with your sources - I believe it is suitable for inclusion there but doesn't meet the bar of notability for it's own article. New page reviewer granted

Hi MolecularPilot, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 17:56, 13 December 2024 (UTC)

Unapproved bot tasks
Please don't run unapproved bot tasks. – DreamRimmer (talk) 03:59, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

- Ohhh the university and college logos! Was that the one you meant (I've been dealing with WP:BOTREQ backlog so done a few)? - Bot also moved 814 pages. – DreamRimmer (talk) 04:06, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- The minor planet talk pages? That's just what happens when you move a normal page, and that's the expected behaviour (because otherwise the talk pages would left behind be on the redirect, not the actual content). I think an RM consensus to move an actual page = the talk page as well??? Sorry, I guess I file a BRFA next time. MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 04:10, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Per WP:BOTPOL, any bot performing logged actions (such as editing pages, uploading files, or creating accounts) must be approved for each task before it can operate. If you run a bot outside your or your bot's userspace, you need to file a BRFA, regardless of whether there is consensus or how many actions the bot performs. That said, the moves and file category changes violated the bot policy. Please make sure to file a BRFA next time. – DreamRimmer (talk) 04:27, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

- @Primefac and MolecularPilot: can we work on getting the bot's legitimate tasks (AFC and SPI reports) back? Something along the lines of "I'll file requests for approvals every time a task doesn't fall strictly under EXEMPTBOT", as you already said above? I don't think there's need to escalate this into an indefinite block. Best, NotAGenious (talk) 18:14, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

Your bot just flooded Category:Unsynchronized talk page redirects with 379 pages. Now, another unappreciated task has been dumped on me, to clean up after your bot. If you had gone through BRFA, I may have noticed the issue after a trial run, my cleanup would have been easier, and I could have instructed you on the proper way to have moved these. These are tricky to handle, due to the need to avoid double redirects from remote talk pages. – wbm1058 (talk) 18:18, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- It's generally a bad idea to move redirects, as you did HERE, unless that's done without leaving behind a redirect. The end result of that was to trigger another bot to clean up after your bot, leaving behind a garbage trail of redirects. – wbm1058 (talk) 19:02, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, I am sorry for leaving a mess and thank you for cleaning it up! Any edits after 3:50 utc (i.e the ones that had problems, after a successful runthrough) were my attempt to fix double redirects lef behind after the task fiished but it did go wrong and I stopped that part of the task as soon as I noticed (and thought the other bot dealt with the needed cleanup). This is no excuse, so thank you for your help and I am very sorry. Also, please dont consider your cleanup "unappreciated", I appreciate it, and your kindness in helping explain, wbm1058, very much. :) 2001:8003:4A10:601:7A7B:9C3B:3071:213D (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

BOTREQ
Please stop your aggressive clerking of WP:BOTREQ; threads that had comments yesterday should not be archived. At the very least a week should pass before things are archived. I get that you are willing and able to help with bot-related activities, but the last few days have been incredibly disruptive and I'm getting to the point of thinking that a break from these activities might be in your best interest. Please slow down a bit and carefully consider your edits going forward. Primefac (talk) 07:45, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, sorry, I did consider them I just thought that since the requests were completed they weren't needed anymore, but I won't archive discussions again. I am going to be very busy in the near future so I won't have time anyway, so I will not do things like archiving again, thank you for the heads up :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 07:48, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 3
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Free play (psychology), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Self-regulation. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ways to improve Free play
Hello, MolecularPilot,
Thank you for creating Free play.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
This still needs more and/or more detailed categories. This is far too vague.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|TheBritinator}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~

- Thanks! I've added some more categories now, I had a hard time decided on them before but I think I've found some good ones. :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 01:14, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Malformed SPI Cases
Sorry for the initial reversal on this page. No objection to the new, just had an objection to how it was transcluded to Wikipedia:Database reports. My newer edit with adjustment appears to have corrected that issue. When this report is updated again, the bot should ideally update the date between the onlyincludes so that it displays the updated time on the Database reports page as well. Sorry for any confusion, happy new year. Zinnober9 (talk) 15:18, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help, it's the first time I've worked with a Database report so thank you for explaining how to correctly show the date and time! Happy new year to you too! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 03:54, 2 January 2025 (UTC)

Is a false positive. Some days routinely have multiple cases filed. Currently seen at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Truthfindervert. Izno (talk) 21:05, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Separately, I would recommend not checking for
<big></big>
tags. I have it in mind to remove that at some point. Izno (talk) 21:06, 3 January 2025 (UTC) - Hi Izno, thank you very much for this! I didn't realize some days could have multiple cases listed. I am resolving this issue now (as well as removing the big tags from the check). :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 23:31, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Done, with regards to both accepting multiple cases on the same day and not requiring <big></big> tags. Thanks again! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 23:38, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Another. [2] is a valid state for the template. I suspect your regex is just looking for the bar and the end of the template, it should probably just look for the end of the template. Izno (talk) 20:32, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, you would be correct, because it tries to extract the status (with "" being a valid status), and from what I saw spa-helper.js always left it as {{SPI case status|}}, with the bar intact. I've resolved this now to permit not having a bar, thanks again for your report Izno, I tried to test everything but there's always edge cases you never suspect. Thank you also for your edit to the template, I was trying to figure out how to get it to hide but it always left some big gap that didn't look nice. :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 02:55, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/151.230.148.34 was deleted but was showing up on the report after. Izno (talk) 21:40, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done, I had it not to scan deleted pages for being malformed (that page seemed to be poorly formed before it was deleted), but now it watches for deletion events and will remove any deleted pages from the list. Thanks again for the report!
- Interestingly the bot has actually caught valid malformations in cases like at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Icewhiz (where it has live for 40 minutes and then a helpful user who rarely edits must have noticed my template and fixed it themselves, [3])! MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 00:32, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- Apparently needs some more work detecting deletions. Izno (talk) 23:34, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
- Now Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Abdullah099$55 which was a page move. Izno (talk) 02:39, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- That wasn't related to the move, it was just missing {{SPIpriorcases}} which I've added now! Re deletions TNT cleaned them up (thank you!) but I'll see if I can fix the script to get rid of them itself (I thought I did that but there must be a bug). :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 02:49, 14 January 2025 (UTC)

Question from Aritetsoma (17:16, 15 January 2025)
Hi , i wanted to know how long does it take for new articles to be publish as well as small edits --Aritetsoma (talk) 17:16, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi!
- Small edits you make to any article are immediately published and viewable to anyone around the world, unless the article is under pending changes protection, where they will usually be reviewed and published by an experienced Wikipedia editor within 7 hours.
- With regards to AfC submissions, they are usually reviewed within a few hours however currently there are pages in the backlog as old as 2 months, so it depends on whether someone picks your submission from the queue.
- I hope this helps! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 04:06, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
List of Malformed SPI Cases
Neither of the malformed cases listed currently make sense. The first is a deleted page, and the second, as far as I can tell, has 1 sock listed properly. Also, you say admins can remove a false positive from the list. How?--Bbb23 (talk) 16:18, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, I fixed the glitch that was preventing it from removing deleted pages from the list, and with the 2nd it was because there were spaces between "===" and and the heading name (which isn't how it's usually formatted), which I've now taught the bot to accept. Admins can remove a false positive by deleting the object with the case's name in it from the JSON array at User:MolecularBot/MalformedSPIs.json. Thank you for the report! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 07:03, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
List of countries by population
Mr. MolecularPilot it's not about a quarrel... on the wiki you need to work with official data. If each user would try to impose his wishes and what exactly he would like to be displayed on the wiki... then the article's essence will decrease in importance. If a user goes on the premise... that's what I think, the authorities are not right, what I say is more important than the authorities, or official data doesn't matter anyway... then you as an editor start losing your motivation. In the article's case about the population, other editors seeing that opinion can be impose regardless of official statistics, probably will also want to increase the population of their own country, or to double it would be ideal, that why not ?. After all, everyone is free to put what he wants, but omitting the official data in favor of personal beliefs, the wiki spirit is gradually lost.
Have a good day ahead!.MIHAIL (talk) 00:12, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi MIHAL! You have a good day too! Even if you think you are correct and that your source is more accurate than that of Thelittlefaery's (because they did provide a source, and estimates of the population, even between top tier WP:RS like the UN and CIA differ widely due to limited national statistical capability), being right is not enough. Just because you may be correct, it does not give you the right to throw personal attacks against other users in the dispute like suggesting they are only here to "vandalize" - and it takes 2 to edit war. Once the talk discussion is open, you shouldn't be reverting and editing the section under discussion untill a consensus is reached. The other user has already apologised for their personal attacks and behaviour, and I strongly suggest that you do the same and join them on the talk page to reach a compromise. Currently, another user has very kindly proposed a great solution I suggest you consider. Btw, I am a Miss, not a Mr. Thank you. :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 00:42, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

Hi and thanks for your Mentorship - I'm hoping to create some articles about the Executive Chairman of a mid-size Sydney law firm but am curious to know if it would be helpful to build some credibility with other article edits where we can add value before I create? --KoffelMatty (talk) 03:06, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi KoffelMatty, I am very sorry that I didn't see this until now - it seems that a glitch prevented me from seeing the notice that I had new talk page messages. I'm more than happy to be your mentor! It is often said here that making an article is one of the hardest tasks, so making a few edits before starting your own article is probably a good idea to get a hang of how things work here like the different formatting methods etc. Once you think you're ready, you can start your new article in Draftspace and submit it to WP:AFC if they lawyer meets our NOTABILITY requirements (if this all sounds so confusing I'm here to help you through it, once you'd like to start the article just let me know). Have a great day and thanks for your interest in expanding our coverage of law! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 10:01, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
Invitation to feedback session
Hello MolecularPilot! 👋
My name is Sarai Sanchez, and I'm a member of the Product Design team at the Wikimedia Foundation. We're conducting a round of online interviews to gather feedback from Toolforge users on the prototype of a new Toolforge web platform. We believe that you recently created a Toolforge account, and that makes you a great candidate for the exploration. Would you be interested in taking part? If so, please fill out this short survey. Participants will receive a thank-you gift as a token of our appreciation.
Thank you for your time and consideration! SSanchez-WMF (talk) 18:11, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! Thank you so much for your willingness to participate in the upcoming feedback interviews about Toolforge 😄 We evaluated your answers to the survey, and we'd like to go ahead and schedule a session with you. In order to proceed, there's information and documentation that it would be safest to send via email: Sorry for not clarifying this in the survey 😓. Could you please share your address with me, writing to ssanchez@wikimedia.org? I'll reply to you with more information and next steps. Thank you again and looking forward to our chat! ~ 2A0C:5A87:3609:8800:409C:6117:8B5A:2864 (talk) 13:52, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

Question from Natertotgameing (05:31, 24 February 2025)
I actually created my account to fix a mistake that I thought was there but was just something I misread, OOPS. Though it did lead me to an occurrence that prompted me to want to ask about something, so I've got two things:
1) If a source is locked behind a paywall and an editor wants to check to make sure the information is correct, what is the best course of action to try and get that information? I think the page that inspired me to ask this was Upton Sinclair's, one of the sources was an archived TIME page that got cut off telling you to subscribe or whatever. I imagine the best course of action is just to pay for it, but I figure it's worth asking.
2) How do you know when to link another wiki page is? Sometimes articles are full of links to other Wikipedia pages, and I am curious if there is a specific set of rules or general principle to follow.
Thank you for the ask prompt on the user page, I feel much more welcomed and encouraged than I thought I would be! Hopefully I get to make some worthwhile contributions :] --Natertotgameing (talk) 05:31, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Natertotgameing, welcome to Wikipedia - I'm so excited that you've decided to join us here! Regarding your questions:
- We actually have a program called the Wikipedia Library (TWL) that allows editors to access paywalled sources for free to verify it or use them to help with building articles! If TWL doesn't have it, or you don't meet the activity requirements for TWL yet, you can also ask at Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request.
- Yes, there is! See MOS:LINK, but all the rules can be a bit confusing so I'd recommend to just be WP:BOLD - one of the foundational priciples of Wikipedia - and add links where you think it makes sense, if it's wrong another editor can help explain to you the rules (but remember that there's no hard rules, and sometimes it might make more sense to include a link in a place that isn't explicitly covered by the rules).
- I'd love for you to make some useful contributions, it's very exciting that you'd like to! If you want some suggestions based on your interests for ways you can help (even if you only have a small amount of time to give), I'd love to help.
- Have a great day! :) MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 21:57, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

Free play moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Free play. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it consists of machine-generated text and clearly NOT ready for main space. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Theroadislong (talk) 18:43, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for carrying out my requested draftification on the talk. I am not a page mover so me doing it would have left behind a redirect which is not ideal. It is true that the article has serious verifiability issues due to the way I wrote it (WP:BACKWARDS, so when I added a cite it didn't always cover everything I said) and how this was my first large content article vs small articles about bacteria and genes, but I think that is the concern rather than notability and/or machine generated text. Thank you for your assistance on helping me improve this. MolecularPilotTalk 05:02, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
