    • Reason: Article was PRODded before (frankly for an invalid reason), so here we are. The article claims (and this is backed up by MIAR) that the journal is included in Scopus. However, searching "Scopus Preview" for the ISSN or journal title shows that this is incorrect. It also proudly proclaimed to be "supported by Publons" (I deleted that particular gem). Even if true (I didn't check), Publons also "supports" OMICS journals, so this is not directly a glowing recommendation. Other indexing services listed were completely routine (GScholar, DOAJ, etc). In conclusion, this is a non-notable journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG. Hence: delete.

    • Reason: This userspace draft has been around since 2013. In December 2018, I posted a notice on Gleaman's talk page, asking whether they intended to work on this, but did not receive any response and nothing happened. The last time this draft was edited was over 8 years ago (October 2013). I've done a search, but don't find any indication that this journal meets either WP:GNG or WP:NJournals, so expanding and moving to main space is not an option. In fact, it looks like this publication fizzled after just three years (2013-2015). I think we've been patient enough with this draft, hence: Delete.

    • Reason: Article tagged for notability since 2012. According to MIAR it still is not indexed in any selective databases (the only one listed being zMATH), so this fails WP:NJournals. There are two references, one a trivial listing, the other a dead link, but most likely this was a simple listing, too. Therefore this also fails WP:GNG. In the absence of any other evidence: Delete.

    • Reason: At first sight, this is a well-sourced article on a new journal. However, it's unusual that a new journal would receive so much attention that it meets WP:GNG basically from before it even has published a first issue (several articles have been published now), so I had a closer look at the sources. This was revealing. A number of references are clearly not independent (journal's own website, press releases). The other sources are, at best, in-passing mentions, some do not even mention the journal (current reference #6 to The Times Diary). In sum, this does not meet either WP:GNG or WP:NJournals and at best is a case of WP:TOOSOON. Hence: delete.

Article dePRODded by creator with reason "It is a notable journal in the field, listed in Directory of Open Access Journals and funded by the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism. Furthermore, important scholars such as Wouter Hanegraaff have published in the journal." None of this, including the trivial content that was added at the same time, are proof of notability and this still fails NJournals and GNG. Hence: delete.
  2. Omid Tabibzadeh: nominated at AfD; notified Pirhayati (talk · contribs) 15:47, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Iranian linguist whose claim to notability is based on having won the Farabi International Award and being editor-in-chief of the journal Language and Linguistics. As shown in what follows, neither is sufficient to satisfy any of the criteria of WP:ACADEMIC:
      1/ "...significant impact...": Scopus lists two of his articles (the others apparently published in sources that are not indexed by Scopus) that have been cited once. Google Scholar lists 35 entries that have been cited 36 times (max scores 16-10-2) giving him an h-index of 2. Insofar it is possible to prove a negative, this clearly indicates that Tabibzadeh's academic impact is negligible.
      2/ "... received a highly prestigious academic award or honor...": Our article on this award does not list any independent sources and I haven't been able to find anything significant either. From the sources given it appears that quite a few awards are given each year, so this doesn't seem to be the kind of prestigious award needed to satisfy criterion 2.
      3/ "...an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association...": dos not seem to be the case.
      4/ "...significant impact in the area of higher education, affecting a substantial number of academic institutions...": no evidence that this is the case.
      5/ "...held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research, or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon...": No evidence for this either.
      6/ "...held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society...": Nope.
      7/ "...substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity...": no evidence for this.
      8/ "...has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal...": Language and Linguistics is apparently not indexed by any significant database, so this clearly is not a "major" publication.
      Finally, the article list several references, some in Farsi. At this point, the first four are dead links. References 5 and 6 are directory listings, reference 7 goes to a blank page, while reference 8 is the only substantial one, but it is an interview and does not contribute to notability.
      In sum, I cannot find any evidence that this biographical article meets WP:ACADEMIC or WP:GNG. Hence: Delete.

    • Reason: This article has already been at AfD three times, with decisions being keep, delete, and keep. In my opinion, albeit not too convincingly, this academic meets WP:ACADEMIC. So why then are we at AfD again? The reason is that this article is irredeemably promotional. Going through the history, it becomes evident that it has been promotional from the very beginning. One sign of this are the descriptions of Tausch's work sourced almost exclusively to his own publications, or to articles that mention him in passing. The article is also excessively refbombed with 196 (!!) references. The way it is written, it's rather shocking to see that such an incredibly successful and influential researcher has only ever held adjunct and visiting positions... Given the foregoing, I tagged this for WP:CSD#G11, but that was denied by Liz given the AfD history. However, cleaning this up so that it becomes an acceptable neutral bio will be a major undertaking and given that I haven't found a neutral version in the article history, I argue that it would be better to start from scratch and that WP:TNT applies, hence: delete.

Searching for the journal in Clarivate's master journal list shows that it is not included in the SCI, but in the much less selective Emerging Sources Citation Index. Since 2023, those journals receive an impact factor, but that is rather trivial. Next it is claimed that the journal is included in MEDLINE. This is incorrect, too: the NLM catalog explicitly states "Not currently indexed for MEDLINE". Some articles are included in PubMed Central because that is required for studies financed by the US government, but again that is rather trivial and does not contribute to notability. Next it is claimed that "The Occupational Health Psychology–Total Worker Health program housed at Portland State University also underlined the importance of OHS as a key resource for research in OHP." Checking the link reveals no such thing, the journal is just listed in the lowest category of 3 as "Additional OHP Journals". References 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10 are just in-passing mentions. The journal is indeed indexed in PsycINFO, but that is not considered a selective database in the sense of WP:NJournals. Reference 11 is the journal's own homepage and reference 12 is used to support indexing in Scopus. Unfortunately, research.com is not a very reliable source and indeed Scopus itself does not list the journal. In conclusion, no valid claims to notability have been added since this was last at AfD (March 2023). Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG, hence: delete.
