The Graphics Lab is a project to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. Requests for image improvements can be added to the workshop pages: Illustrations, Photographs and Maps. For questions or suggestions one can use the talk pages: Talk:Graphics Lab, Talk:Illustrations, Talk:Photographs and Talk:Maps.
This specific page is the requests page for the illustration workshop. Anyone can make a request for an illustration to be improved or created for a Wikipedia article. Clicking the "New Request" button will bring you to a standard template for submitting requests, as well as general advice that should be followed. Requests for healthcare related images may be make at MDWiki:WikiProjectMed:Requested_images.

Advice to requesters

All requests:

Please make sure your request is "legitimate" by copyright. If the image(s) are in the public domain or freely licensed, you are fine. If the image(s) are "Fair use", there are only certain things we can do with them without falling afoul of Wikipedia's fair-use policies.
- If you are requesting assistance with a copyright or fair-use image, don't display it on this page; place {{GLNF|Example.png|caption|align=left}} to create a link to it. Do not add the File: extension. Our fair-use policy does not allow displaying fair-use images out of their articles on ANY account.
Please check back regularly to see if progress has been made or if any additional questions need to be answered before the request can be completed.
If a request is done to your satisfaction, please mark it with {{resolved}}.

SVG requests:

Make sure your request can actually BE vectorized. Note that vector drawings are not suitable for certain applications. We generally use SVG format for icons, logos, drawings, maps, flags, and such. Certain things, photographs especially, are totally impossible to vectorize.
Per our non-free content policy, vectorization of copyrighted images is not permitted. If a vectorized non-free image is desired, seek out such an image from the copyright holder.

I only just saw your question. ;) I am planning to use these on the Qantas Wikipedia article. I had a look at the images, and I thought they might need a bit of a cleanup (since some of them, when you zoom in a little, are a bit blurry). Personally, I also thought that the first graphic might have needed a bit of a brightening too. The third image (for some reason) has some strange white marks on the green background, and I wasn't too sure if that was part of the original image or if it was something that needed to be cleaned up. However, if you think that the images are all okay to be used (you probably know more about this than me), then you can put a withdraw on it. Thanks in advance!

Request to fix rendering issues with File:Wipro logo.svg

Request: I made a quick mockup of the coat of arms using autotrace in inkscape. As I'm not that knowledgeable in graphics design it would be great if anybody wanted to completely redo this file. I traced the image from Skrekkelig hvalross.png, which is the only drawing of the coat of arms I have. The colors of the coat of arms are the same as the Norwegian national coat of arms at Coat of arms of Norway.svg. The tusks are in the same silver color as the axe, the walrus and the blood droplets around are in the same red as shield of the national coat of arms, and the shield is in the same gold as the lion on the coat of arms. The crown is the same as the national coat of arms. Could someone please create the following two SVG files for provincial GAA colours in Ireland, based on the those of the already existing files for the Leinster and Munster Councils as seen above:

1) "Colours of Ulster Council", which consist of gold and black (this can be seen in the infobox on the Ulster GAA page).

2) "Colours of Connacht Council", which consist of white and blue (this can be seen in the infobox on the Connacht GAA page).
