Draft:Van Yeghiazaryan - Request for review.
[edit]Hello! I have submitted Draft:Van Yeghiazaryan for review. Van Yeghiazaryan is the lead singer and songwriter of the Armenian alternative/indie rock band Nemra.
The draft includes multiple reliable, independent sources, such as: - Revolver Magazine (coverage of his collaboration with Serj Tankian) - Starmus Festival (performance with recognition from Brian May) - Armenian national media (Mediamax, ImYerevan, Bravo.am) - TV appearance on "Two Stars" (Yerkou Astgh)
Since there is significant independent coverage of him individually, I believe the draft meets notability guidelines for musicians. Could someone please review it? Thank you very much! Moon23435435 (talk) 12:50, 27 September 2025 (UTC)

Request for review: Martin Uherek article update
[edit]Update: Hi everyone! Just clarifying — this is not a request to edit this WikiProject page itself.
I only wanted to notify members that there’s a request edit posted at Talk:Martin Uherek. It contains a neutral, fully cited sandbox draft for the article Martin Uherek, requesting review and possible update.
If any editor here has time to take a look, I’d be very grateful. Thanks so much!

Japanese or Finnish sources for Private Line (band)?
[edit]This page was recently (and reasonably) PRODded because it had no references at all. I wasn't able to find anything much in terms of English-language sources, but the band has had reasonable chart success in Finland and has multiple albums on JVC Victor in Japan, so I'd expect sources to exist there. Is there anyone here who's familiar with the Japanese or Finnish music press who could have a search? Adam Sampson (talk) 00:06, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

Draft: Char Vinnedge
[edit]I have a potential new page, located here, and I would appreciate any thoughts/comments/suggestions about it. It is a short, fragment-y page about a deceased musician who, although not exactly a household name, is/was respected in some dark, hidden corners of the rock and roll universe. The sourcing is currently inadequate (largely blog sites), and despite my interest in the subject it isn't clear to me that she is sufficiently notable for a WP page. But perhaps there are stronger sources available? Thanks in advance for all comments. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 17:16, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- @JoJo Anthrax: Everything I found from Googling seems to be mainly about the band, but I managed to find some stuff about Char on newspapers.com. [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7].★Trekker (talk) 02:09, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

The article Sachay Bhai has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as unsourced for 3 and 1/2 years. No assertion nor evidence of notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Discussion about WikiProject banner templates
[edit]For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:
- "This article has been rated as Low-importance on the importance scale."
There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners. Morgan Grace
[edit]I have created a new stub titled Morgan Grace (Canadian musician). This is the left-handed fiddler from Manitoba who performed for the king on the occasion of his speech from the throne in Ottawa in May 2025. So far only a disambiguation page links to it, so if you know of other links that should be there, you can add those. And whoever knows more about her can expand the article. What necessitates band member timelines?
[edit]I am involved in a dispute with Pillowcrow. We have a difference in opinion where there appears to be no official guidance on when and how band member timelines are justifiable and when they are unnecessary. I noted that this discussion was held 3-4 years ago, but I can find nothing further stating what the rules are, though I'd like to think I'm pretty familiar with how the standard actually works given how long I've been doing this. I didn't think that such documentation was necessary and this would be a pretty straightforward, reasonable conclusion, but clearly I was wrong. From what I can tell, none of the options at the documenation page contain any information on restrictions for the use of these when I know for a fact that restrictions exist that have been in practice for years. If there is a relevant guideline to point to for our usual standard, what is it?
I believe that timelines where there are fewer than two lineup changes (or two changes where the latter is the return of a previous member) are entirely unnecessary; see Jimmy Eat World or Flyleaf. It is an unnecessary bloat of space for a concept that is not complex enough that it would be difficult to understand without. Both of these should be removed and others like it. (Not to mention I bet screen readers hate these things and I would wonder if timelines this small would be worth interrupting accessibility for.) mftp dan oops 14:41, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not aware of any official guidelines on this either, but I would appear to have a more flexible approach: I would only advise against having a timeline if the band hasn't gone through any line-up changes (e.g.: Coldplay, Dir en grey). I don't see timelines with few but existing changes as so space-consuming.
- The concern with accessibility touches on a highly relevant aspect, but if the timelines are getting in the way, that's something for the tech people to improve (or to discourage altogether, who knows) so that this feature is never an obstacle. Victor Lopes Fala!•C 19:45, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- Two lineup changes feels arbitrary. I agree with Victor that the visual space consumption really isn't a problem. And where there is space consumption, those timelines are probably more necessary anyway (e.g., Flaw—that one is bonkers). Using the term accessibility more broadly, the timelines are probably useful in this sense because they convey the information in a different format that might be easier for some readers to understand/grasp. Even if there isn't a lineup change, band members sometimes change roles/instruments, which can also be easily shown through a timeline. I really don't see what the problem is or why it's such a big deal to have a timeline. Seems logical to err on the side of inclusion than to assume that it couldn't possibly be useful to readers. pillowcrow 01:10, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
Request for creation/notability check: Noah XO (Alternative Pop)
[edit]Hi everyone,
I am requesting the creation of a biography for the American alternative pop artist Noah XO (legal name Patrick Hayes), based in Saratoga Springs, NY. I am the artist in question and am disclosing my COI (Conflict of Interest) in accordance with Wikipedia policy to seek a neutral editor for a potential draft.
I believe the subject meets the WP:NMUSIC criteria (specifically #1 and #11) through a combination of significant independent press and high-profile professional collaborations:
1. Notable Industry Collaborations
[edit]The subject's discography involves direct creative and technical contributions from several notable, established figures with existing Wikipedia entries:
- Noah Sebastian (Bad Omens): Co-wrote and collaborated on the 2019 debut single "I Got It." Sebastian is officially credited as a songwriter/composer (verifiable via Apple Music/Tidal).
- Carlos "Chinoo" Young: The multi-platinum, Billboard-charting engineer (A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie) served as the mixing engineer for "I Got It" and other key releases.
- Seth Munson: Notable mastering engineer (Christina Grimmie, Drake Bell) who mastered the 2024 single "FRIDAY."
2. Significant Independent Press Coverage
[edit]The artist has been the subject of dedicated, non-trivial editorial reviews in several reliable music publications:
- EARMILK: Feature review of "FEVER" (July 2025), noting the artist's "alt-pop precision."
- The Big Takeover: Editorial review of "BURNOUT" (Dec 2025), describing the artist as a "sonic alchemist."
- Purple Melon: Feature profile on the single "BURNOUT," discussing its themes of mental health exhaustion.
- NYS Music: Coverage of regional impact and the single "No Brakes."
3. Media and Regional Presence
[edit]- Radio: Significant regional rotation and artist features on iHeartRadio (KISS FM 102.3) in the New York Capital Region.
- Biographical Verification: Documented history in the Times Union (Albany, NY) and Spotlight News.

Draft for review: Island Styles (Guitarist, Candlebox)
[edit]Hi everyone! I’ve put together a draft for Draft:Island Styles and have disclosed my COI on my user page.
