The Eighth Filipino Wikipedians meet-up in Metro Manila was held at the Bulwagang Manileño, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, City of Manila, Metro Manila, on May 15, 2010 (Saturday). This was the annual convention of Wikimedia Philippines as stated on its By-laws. The event was also a soft-launch for Wikimedia Philippines. Wikimedia Philippines was duly recognized by the international community on March 12, 2010 and was incorporated on April 12, 2010.
All WMPH members were invited to this event. Non-members of Wikimedia Philippines were likewise invited as observers and they can sign-up to be members if they wish to.
