There has been an implied request to delete this article due to notability concerns by an editor (who likely has a COI). I'm inclined to agree after looking through the sources. It reads more like a resume with no real, solid evidence of notability. -- John Reaves 14:48, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete This article doesn't meet WP:NACTOR. The claims of recognition by foreign governments is unsourced therefor unverifiable. In addition, as the nom notes, the deletion was requested. ♥ Solarra ♥ ^{♪ 話 ♪} ߷ _{♀ 投稿 ♀} 18:06, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. Several of the claims made by the requester are false, as I have noted at the Miscellaneous reference desk. ("While the article is overly promotional, it was announced by reliable sources that his short was to be screened at the Brisbane International Film Festival in 2008.[1][2] Also, the Times of India reported on "alleged scams carried out during the tenure of Manoj Srivastava as chief executive officer (CEO) of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG)."[3]") Srivastava's notability appears to be marginal (not as an actor but rather as a somewhat controversial industry executive[4][5][6][7]), but not clear cut. Delete per WP:42 and WP:CREATIVE. I could see, by scanning the references, that this was poorly sourced. In cleaning up the citations, I noted immediately (1) one cite was to another Wikipedia article, and (2) one had the barest of passing mentions. Two references are from his own organization's website, and two more are passing references from the Indian MPAA. I actually found some additional sources, but this one is another passing mention and this one is a syndicated article about his reaction to a flood. Bearian (talk) 22:32, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
