- Redirect to Survivor: Palau: She's not really notable for anything beyond Survivor and wasn't even a notable contestant on the show. For the most part, she will only be remembered by hardcore fans of the show. So even though I don't really want to delete this article, it just doesn't meet the notability guidelines and needs to go :( Survivorfan1995 (talk) 05:44, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Delete: Suvivor fancruft. Toddst1 (talk) 05:55, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect to Survivor: Palau as subject has no notability outside of Survivor. Gloss • talk 05:59, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Consensus was to keep in the 2010 AfD, five years after she was on the show. What has changed since then? A routine obituary in a hometown newspaper or two does not establish notability. Significant coverage of a person's death in reliable sources all across the U.S. is evidence of notability. There is far more coverage than now appears in the article. Also, she had roles in two Hollywood films, including a starring role in a horror film. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 07:49, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Clearly meets our inclusion guideline WP:N. There are a number of sources which solely cover her found in the article (including People). I don't see how this is debatable. That much (though certainly not all) of the coverage came after she died isn't relevant--there is clearly coverage in multiple reliable sources in the article. - Keep. Many reliable sources discuss her life. Here are a bunch of sources not currently used in the article: TV Guide obit, Access Hollywood obit, New York Daily News obit, USA Today obit, CBS obit, and the Huffington Post obit. The sources which are used in the article (People magazine, US magazine, etc.) already establish notability per WP:GNG. Binksternet (talk) 16:41, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Clearly meets the WP:GNG in terms of significant coverage in reliable sources. Why is this even here at all, much less for a third time? --Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:56, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep meets WP:N --Greenmaven (talk) 19:33, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep as notable, as this is not fancruft; there are many reliable sources about the subject. Epicgenius (talk) 20:45, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Judging by the RS, her celebrity was quite evidently extended beyond her appearance on the show. WP:GNG --Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:18, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep - As Binksternet has shown, there are more sources besides those already in the article. I'm no fan of reality TV celebs but the letter of the law is "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" and this has been demonstrated. - Keep as obviously notable. The first AFD 7 years ago was a slam-dunk delete, but the second one 4 years ago was resoundingly a keep. Survivorfan1995 (talk · contribs) also deleted these links to her article without explanation: The Dalles template:Survivor February 27 death January 19 birth Survivor photo caption breast cancer patients people from Nevada. These changes were apparently in good faith—though ignorant of procedure. I have reverted the first one and people from Nevada, but not the others. —EncMstr (talk) 00:23, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
