I came across this page yesterday refbombed with recipe blogs. I looked for better sources to replace them and could only find two sources with sigcov: Metroscene mag and Field Guide to Cookies. I've since looked closer at Metroscene Mag and see they identify as a blog, leaving only one source contributing to GNG.
ATDs: (1) Redirect to Filipino cuisine where they are mentioned. An expansion would give undue weight, they do not appear particularly important to Filipino cuisine. (2) Merge to Filipino-American cuisine: I disapprove of this. The article is currently scoped to Filipino food in America (i.e. food of Filipino Americans) and would be out of scope. (3) Redirect to list of cookies: Oppose a merge as the criteria for inclusion is implicitly "meets GNG". Rollinginhisgrave (talk | contributions) 05:21, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

Keep. I'd also like to correct you regarding Metroscene. They don't "identify as a blog." Their "About us" page quite clearly states that they are an "independent digital magazine." Metroscene regularly has exclusive photoshoots and interviews with Filipino celebrities.
This article is a failed proposal due to lack of consensus regarding its implementation, but it still points out something useful: "A blog is simply a website that commonly organizes its contents into 'updates' that are posted in a given order, with the newest content frequently 'first', at the top of given page. Each 'update' is often a separate web page on the website. Many blogs allow readers of the online updates to post comments. A blog is no different from any other website, except in its structure, layout, and formatting." Metroscene is hosted by a blog site, but it's a magazine. So that's a solid source for SIGCOV, IMO.
