2B1 conference

A niche conference that did lead to bigger things like One Laptop per Child and Nation.1 project. But the conference itself does not have any in-depth coverage, it is mentioned in some sources in passing, but itself fails Wikipedia:Notability (events). Merge to the appropriate articles. Reading the rationales set forth in the previous AfDs, there's blather about How Important This Conference Was, but even stipulating that this WAS a conference that led to bigger things, WP:NOTINHERITED and WP:N still exist, and the benchmark as to whether an article can be sustained isn't WP:ITSIMPORTANT but the significant coverage that has not been discovered in the eleven years the article's existed. Anything pertinent about this conference can be summarized in a sentence or two in the other articles. Ravenswing 18:06, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Merge or delete: Eleven years after the first AfD, the article hasn't changed except for a couple of wikilinks. I cannot find any additional sources with substantial coverage, meaning that this fails even the most basic notability criteria. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 03:40, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Comment': Can people be very specific about where they are merging and can they please say redirect if they intend not to copy any content from source to target. (should be saved with rcat R with history). If the redirect requires a couple of original sentences on the target to avoid WP:SURPRISE with a copied reference thats okay. Delete What exactly would we be merging? This article is basically a stub and I don't see some great amount of material we'd suddenly send to Nation.1. And Nation.1 is qualitatively different that I am not sure we're doing our readers any favors in redirecting this there. Like if you're curious about this confrence Nation.1 is unhelpful unlike if you're curious about a song and we redirect to the artist is helpful.
