Information icon Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 12:07, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I understand the concern. My intention was to add the entry as part of documenting notable cultural/literary events. I will review the notability guidelines carefully and work on creating a separate, properly sourced article first, supported by reliable references, before adding it to any lists. Appreciate your guidance on this. Literaturebee7 (talk) 12:10, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Nainital Literature Festival moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Nainital Literature Festival. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and and they should be sources about what actually happened, not press-releases about what was going to happen. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:09, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback. The draft has been updated to include information about the inaugural edition of the Nainital Literature Festival (25–27 April 2025), such as the venue, headline participants, and the festival mentor, based on coverage from reliable sources reporting on the event.
Efforts are ongoing to incorporate additional independent coverage from news articles and other verifiable sources to further establish the festival’s notability. The draft will continue to be improved to ensure it meets Wikipedia’s guidelines for verifiability and neutrality. Literaturebee7 (talk) 05:49, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
