Zvika Klein moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Zvika Klein, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Youknowwhoistheman (talk) 18:09, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I understand the need for more citations (will work on it), however as the Editor in Chief of the largest English-speaking paper in the country, it still meets the notability guideline. Kalman (talk) 18:30, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Akiva Tor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fort Jackson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi Deb.
I am aware of COI policies and act in accordance to them. I published a new article about Harley Lippman over the weekend, and it was flagged for deletion. I replied in the talk page with the reasoning, but instead of having a conversation you decided to delete it straight away. This is not how we improve Wikipedia or public knowledge - we do that through discussion and making sure everything is done by the rules. (LifeLearning (talk) 09:54, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. The article has been deleted from mainspace after being nominated for speedy deletion. Although you were informed several times above that the draft had failed review because it didn't meet the criteria for inclusion, you went ahead and moved it to mainspace yourself. Please don't attempt to do so again. Deb (talk) 09:42, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Deb.
I was not informed even once that it was nominated for deletion. The editor of a Israel's largest English-language newspaper is worthy of a Wikipedia article, so long as it adheres to living biography standards. If there are specific errors let's fix them, but removing it is the wrong move, and doing so without warning is not ok. (LifeLearning (talk) 09:51, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
There is no requirement to inform contributors when an article is speedily deleted. What made you think it was okay to move a draft to mainspace without it passing a review?
Please remember to declare any conflict of interest before requesting undeletion. Deb (talk) 09:57, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
The speedy deletion clearly says you can argue against it in the page talk space, which I did; courtesy would be to answer, even if you don't have to.
I understand the COI rules. LifeLearning (talk) 10:05, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
