You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:EdAlive, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Digital library, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. PritongKandule-✉️📝 09:47, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I cannot help you rewrite this in a way that would be acceptable to publish on Wikipedia. What you need to do is start by collecting reliable secondary sources for your subject and base article content on that: the draft you submitted did not have a single reliable secondary source. Please see Help:Your first article. Submitting it without any such sourcing is always going to lead to rejection; had you compared your draft to existing Wikipedia articles of some quality would have shown you the difference clearly enough, I think. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:08, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bylander noob. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to EdAlive, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bylander noob. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bylander noob|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Fancy Refrigerator (talk) 02:16, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Fancy Refrigerator,
Thank you for your message and for bringing this matter to my attention. I apologize if my edit on EdAlive has given an impression of paid advocacy or conflict of interest. I am not being compensated, directly or indirectly, by EdAlive or any other parties for my edits on Wikipedia. My intention was to provide general information and contribute to the encyclopedia's content.
I appreciate your vigilance in upholding Wikipedia's guidelines and neutral point of view. In light of your concerns, I will review the community guidelines more thoroughly and strive to make sure my future contributions adhere to these guidelines. I understand the importance of maintaining neutrality and transparency in the Wikipedia community, and I assure you that I will be more cautious in my future edits. Please let me know if you have any further concerns or suggestions for improvement.
Sincerely,
Bylander_noob Bylander noob (talk) 02:21, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

EdAlive moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, EdAlive, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. stwalkerster (talk) 20:26, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I understand the concerns raised regarding the EdAlive article, particularly the need for more reliable, independent sources and better referencing. I will work on improving the article in draft space, enhancing its verifiability and ensuring it meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline.
I appreciate the constructive feedback and the opportunity to refine the article with minimal disruption. Once I have addressed the issues and feel confident about the article's quality, I will submit the draft for review using the "Submit your draft for review!" button.
If you have any further recommendations or specific sources that could help improve the article, please feel free to share them. Your input is greatly appreciated. Bylander noob (talk) 00:46, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
