DYK for Chris Patrick (ice hockey)
[edit]On 20 July 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Chris Patrick (ice hockey), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Chris Patrick is one of seven Stanley Cup champions in his family? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Chris Patrick (ice hockey). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Chris Patrick (ice hockey)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Thanks for your help
[edit]Thanks for your help with the Brantford 99ers and adding reliable sources to many other junior ice hockey teams. I could also use help with the senior ice hockey teams and Allan Cup Hockey if you have time! Flibirigit (talk) 17:16, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
- I noticed you edited Allan Cup Hockey today. Thanks! If you'are able to help, here are the items on my to do list for that league: Flibirigit (talk) 21:12, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- The Hamilton Steelers (ice hockey) became the Stoney Creek Tigers.[1][2][3]
- new team in Richmond Hill, Ontario for the 2024–25 season.[4][5]
You are an awesome Wikipedian

British Columbia Hockey League
[edit]Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note your recent revert at this article.
Rather than deleting this section, perhaps you could write a paragraph more accurately explaining what happened to the Vees? The article as it reads today doesn't touch on the subject at all. 162 etc. (talk) 23:14, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- I also note your recent edits at Penticton Vees (junior A), which I've reverted. Can you cite sources that more clearly explain the relationship between the former team and the new WHL team? 162 etc. (talk) 00:18, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
- The BCHL is independent of the WHL and the existence of a Penticton WHL franchise doesn't automatically negate the pre-existing BCHL franchise. The BCHL stated, on its website, "Vees ownership will retain its membership in the BCHL and will look to relocate in the near future".[1] This confirms the BCHL franchise still exists and is merely seeking a new home, not that it has ceased to be. In the interest of accuracy, we should avoid definitive statements about the BCHL Vees' ultimate fate until a relocation is officially announced. Buffalkill (talk) 04:03, 15 July 2025 (UTC) Buffalkill (talk) 04:03, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
I'm curious if you're planning to publish the above-mentioned article anytime soon? Assadzadeh (talk) 06:28, 23 October 2025 (UTC)

Bot request thread related to your edits
[edit]Hello, I'm sorry that I've had to open a bot request relating to many of your edits; please see Wikipedia:Bot requests § Mass-removal of WikiProject categories added directly in wikicode to talk pages. Try not to worry too much; this mistake can be undone relatively easily with the right tools. I'm sorry that you seemed to go to all the effort to add the categories manually though.
