[edit]
Hi 88superfuzz! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Departure– (talk) 04:08, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
- Ahh, okay, thank you for the clarification. 88superfuzz (talk) 16:01, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
Hello.
[edit]I noticed your changes to Tornado outbreak of March 14–15, 2025 while I do see that you had good will in mind please do keep in mind that EF ratings are officially damage ratings, for example if a EF5 hits a baren wasteland but if its outer parts does tiny damage to a tree it would still be considered EF0 because the damage resembles a EF0 despite the fact its actual wind speed was EF5. Have a great night! BelowFlames (talk) 04:50, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ahh okay, I understand now, thank you. Have a nice night! 88superfuzz (talk) 03:04, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
Request For Comment - Infobox Weather Damage Estimates
[edit]There is a new ongoing request for comment discussion, with the goal to solve the various disputes on weather-related articles (such as tornadoes or hurricanees) on how to best utilize damage estimates in the infobox. Your comments are highly-requested, as the result of this discussion will affect all weather-related articles. This notice is being sent to all editors who have recently edited weather event articles.
You can view and participate in the discussion here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Weather#RFC - Weather Infobox Damages. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 17:29, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
A Helpful Guide!
[edit]Sometimes, it's hard for me to find a way to create a wildfire-related page. So, I sometimes need something to guide me through. Although, I think it's only right to share my WP:Guide with multiple different users. So, here you go---User:CostalCal/Guide! I hope you read this next time you create or edit a wildfire-related page. CostalCal (talk) 18:32, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
WikiProject Wildfire
[edit]I've noticed you edit wildfire articles frequently, especially about wildfires in California. Would you like to join WikiProject Wildfire? You would be a valuable addition, and you don't have to edit very often if your schedule doesn't allow. If this message disturbed you, please disregard it. Thanks, Hurricane Wind and Fire (talk) 02:08, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- that sounds wonderful! Just curious, how do you join? 88superfuzz (talk) 03:02, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
