You are never going to believe this
[edit]It happened; it's official. The June 20, 2025 Enderlin, ND tornado that we all thought would stay EF3 has been rated EF5. I have no other way to contact you, so I'll just post this here. This is one of the most significant days in tornado history. EF5 15:49, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
- I saw about that. I disagree with the application of rating methodology, but don't at all doubt that it was that strong. I also don't think today's going to be that important a day; it's just a rating after all, and doesn't change that the rating system is not ideal. The part of my brain that thought the first EF5 would be some off-season nonsense in some random field turned out to be correct. Departure– (talk) 20:28, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think it's a show that they're willing to factor other things in and try to fix the system. And even if it's still terrible, it was a genuine thought that we'd never see one again. EF5 20:34, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
