Hello, I'm Asparagusus. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Jeddah Tower, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 16:32, 3 May 2024 (UTC)

Changing "New York City, United States" to "New York City, New York"
[edit]Hi, I noticed you've been making a bunch of edits like this, changing "New York City, United States" to "New York City, New York". In your edit summaries, you're claiming that "New York City, United States" sounds "too international" and/or that these articles are/should be using American English.
Is there a reason you think "New York City, United States" sounds too international? I do commiserate with the sentiment that skipping the state (e.g. "Chicago, United States" or "Los Angeles, United States") sounds unnatural. To me, the alternative ("New York City, New York, United States") is a bit wordy, since the city has basically the same name as the state, while just saying "New York, United States" misses a bit of city-specific context. However, I'd like to know your reasoning for changing this and, hopefully, come up with a better way of conveying that NYC is in NY and the US. – Epicgenius (talk) 22:57, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- All location based articles should include the country in the lead. Wikipedia, while server based in the United States, is an internationally read and edited encyclopaedia. You should not assume that people know the country for locations and should include it in the lead. Additionally you don't need New York, New York, it's a bit redundant and unnecessary for such a major city. Unless the article is specifically about New York (i.e it's the actual [[New York] article), you don't need that level of information as it's not the subject of the article. Canterbury Tail talk 12:34, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, I see you're doing this again on the TFA, Merchant's House Museum. Could you please explain how including the country is "British grammar", because I am genuinely confused as to how you came to that conclusion? Thanks. – Epicgenius (talk) 13:02, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
- Would you like to discuss why you're continuing making edits like this to various NYC articles without discussion? If you keep making mass edits like this without discussing it, I will have to bring this to WP:ANI, since there have been several attempts to discuss this with you, with no response. – Epicgenius (talk) 03:11, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
- This is your final warning, if you make these edits around New York and removing the country again you will be blocked from editing. Multiple editors have discussed this with you and you're willfully ignoring them. Canterbury Tail talk 11:08, 18 July 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Rajat Bedi, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 23:43, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Russo-Ukrainian War, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name does not follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. RGloucester — ☎ 21:50, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello. In a recent edit to the page Far-left politics, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. —Alalch E. 13:14, 27 September 2025 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Moa, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Links to redirects should generally not be replaced to bypass the redirect. Please see WP:NOTBROKEN and MOS:NOPIPE for more information. --amlz (talk) 00:47, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
