Mission and goals

[edit]

We work on updating, maintaining, expanding, improving, and adding to all pages within the project's scope. Our aim is to thoroughly document notable topics relating to the amusement industry. Put simply, the goal of the project is to make every article under the project as good as it can be. This includes adding reputable sources, expanding articles by adding content, working to improve each article's quality class, and more. In addition, amusement parks are always changing, and we work to keep our articles up to date. Every year, new rides open and close, parks undergo changes, and new projects are announced. Documenting such changes in an encyclopedic manner is a large part of this project's mission. Furthermore, notable attractions, parks, people may not yet be covered on Wikipedia. As long as such a page would meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, as well as those outlined by this project, it would be appreciated if such an article was created in order to expand the project's coverage.
