I am JustTryingToBeSmart. I first created my Wikipedia account when I saw various grammar issues on articles across Wikipedia—mostly related to hip-hop music. I am most commonly editing music related articles as music is my favorite topic, but I also edit articles about sports (namely Basketball), schools, and various other topics—mostly pages that I noticed grammar issues on, or formatting issues. I am a U.S. citizen, being born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee.

Early life

[edit]

My nickname "JustTryingToBeSmart" I thought of one day when I was bored and couldn't seem to think clearly, making me think that I was 'Just Trying To Be Smart.' I was highly interested in writing essays and documents about various incomplete topics or subjects missing major amounts of information and/or knowledge. Smart also only was interested in his English and Writing classes during his youth, which would later propel him to edit websites of the Wikimedia Foundation—most notably Wikipedia and WikiVoyage. Smart's parents both enjoyed music from artists Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, and Micheal Jackson, however, when solely, his mother often listened to hip-hop artists such as 2Pac, Lil Wayne, and The Notorious B.I.G while around him—his father was a fan of soft-rock and classical country artists such as Bob Seger, Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Johnny Cash.

Wikipedia career

[edit]

I try to frequently edit various Wikipedia pages and I believe I mostly understand the scope of the site, I emerged onto the editing scene on July 20, 2024, when he first edited the article Roddy Ricch and "Improved Grammar on [the] 2024 section of [the] article under [the] Career [section]".
