It should only be emphasized that Pedro Pascal is Chilean, and in a paragraph at the end of the article, add that he obtained the American (administrative) nationality (about this last point there is no reliable evidence: maybe he only has a green card).

He is not interested in US as a country of “belonging” beyond being his source of work, of the concrete American friends he has in that country.

Please allow me to edit the biography in the section about Pedro Pascal's origins, since the source is only a brief and incomplete quote from an interview in the Spanish online newspaper Mallorca.

Furthermore, that biography only emphasizes the Spanish grandparents of one of his Chilean parents, thus omitting the actor's entire Chilean ancestry of seven generations.

Furthermore, there is a part of the biography that is erroneous and also misleading; it alludes to Pedro Pascal's (or Pascal's father's) alleged membership in the "Castilian-Basque aristocracy.": the sources on which this statement is supposedly based are two newspaper articles from The New York Times, neither of which ever mentions or alludes to a "Castilian-Basque aristocracy." The first article, by John Koblin (2017), regarding the actor's origins only mentions his birth in Santiago, Chile. The second article, by Robert Ito (2014), also mentions Santiago de Chile regarding the actor's origins, but there is no reference to a supposed "Castilian-Basque aristocracy."

Finally, I don't understand how they put this article "protected" with incorrect, erroneous, and incomplete citations and wording, with sources that do not refer to what is stated or written. Javehgt (talk) 08:47, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Chilean ancestry is like saying Canadian ancestry, it doesn't say anything at all unless you have native American ancestry which he doesn't have. Also, Balmaseda IS a Basque last name, so he definitely has Basque ancestry. Wiki should be more objective and rephrase "the ongoing Gaza genocide.[117]" Something more along the lines of "the situation in Gaza". The UN has been refuted regarding this and Wiki should state it in this way.

anxiety

Parental characters

I think it fits – much of the plot was around his character's decision to not sacrifice his son for the sake of humanity (a pretty similar plot point to TLOU).
