The name for this article isn't consistent with other articles dedicated to DC Extended Universe characters (for example, Superman's article is Clark Kent (DC Extended Universe)), so I suggest we move this article to Christopher Smith (DC Extended Universe). Peacemaker (DC Extended Universe) → Peacemaker (film character) – Okay, a recent edit to Peacemaker season 2 had such a ridiculous edit summary claim about this iteration of the character not continuing in it that I think we should rename this page to deal with the issue once and for all. Since the second season of Peacemaker is incorporating the character into the DCU (the same character, all interviews have noted, Rick Flag Sr. retaliating for his son's death at Peacemaker's hands), he is no longer just a DCEU character, but still the same character, obv, as @Eletro 16: noted, so it cannot be renamed, so I propose we move it to Peacemaker (film character). Yes he was in television too, but film is the physical medium, and it worked well for J. Peacemaker (DC Extended Universe) → Peacemaker (DC Universe)Peacemaker (DC Universe) – The DCEU is over now and Peacemaker has already started to appear in DCU content. You could make the argument that he appeared in the DCEU more so far but he's undoubtedly going to eventually have more appearances in the DCU, with the new season of Peacemaker coming soon. Oppose because this article is specifically about the DCEU version of the character. We have yet to see the full adaptation in the DCU aside from a very WP:RECENT and brief cameo, and just because the second season of the character's show premiers next month, that does not mean we should preemptively move this article's title. We have yet to know if the DCEU and DCU versions are one and the same, so it would be misleading to retitle it as such. Oppose per Trailblazer. Once the article is expanded with DCU details it would make sense to have something similar to Charles Xavier (film character) since it combines details from two different film/TV franchises. I don't think the DCU would automatically take precedence considering how important his role is in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker season 1. - adamstom97 (talk) 09:46, 13 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. It is way too soon to rename and also since the character is featured in two franchises, renaming it to the newest just does not sit right, especially since its actual role and integration into the DCU is yet to be seen in future projects. We could, however, use something along the lines of "Peacemaker (film character)", or "Peacemaker (DC Films character)" which emcompasses all media where the character portrayed by the same actor appeared.
