The beginning of the section, "Post-Twitter reinstatement" is very unfortunately worded:

"Linehan's Twitter account was restored in December 2022, following the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk, who relaxed many of Twitter's content policies and announced an amnesty to restore suspended accounts. He also attacked Ian "H" Watkins of Steps, tweeting: "What may connect him to a man serving 22 years for raping and torturing a 10-year-old girl?", on the basis that Watkins had used a tool to block transphobes."

Apart from being a non-sequitur, the way this is phrased, the subject (He) of the statement beginning "He also attacked Ian "H" Watkins" would seem to be Elon Musk, not Graham Linehan. I would suggest changing this to:

"Linehan's Twitter account was restored in December 2022, following the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk, who relaxed many of Twitter's content policies and announced an amnesty to restore suspended accounts. Linehan then attacked Ian "H" Watkins of Steps, tweeting: "What may connect him to a man serving 22 years for raping and torturing a 10-year-old girl?", on the basis that Watkins had used a tool to block transphobes."

Add "and convicted criminal" to the introductory line. ~2025-38148-51 (talk) 15:20, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Contentious edit proposed to a BLP article and an article where contentious topic procedures apply. Needs to be Talk page consensus first. SI09 (talk) 15:28, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Anti-transgender"

[edit]

I'm sure this discussion has happened on Wikipedia before, but I was struck by the use, and frequent use, of the term "anti-transgender" in this article. It's not a neutral descriptor, and I think such a loaded term gives the whole article a biased feel. There is obviously a lot of legitimate debate around issues of fairness or legality in including or excluding transwomen from the category of female, and advocating women's rights in that context is hardly the same thing as hating trans people. I understand that the language choices here are contentious, but surely there are more neutral ways to describe his position. Suggestions? Artdyke (talk) 10:34, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, have you read this article? ~2025-34957-92 (talk) 20:46, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
