Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat (at Meta-Wiki only)

Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

There does need to be a process for first-party appeals of global bans - the current one of a request for comment necessarily involves evading the ban. I thought about deleting the RfC and blocking on-sight when pinged, but I didn't partially because of involvement concerns and partially because of that. * Pppery * _{it has begun} 17:44, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

The system is broken if RFCs are a means to do this. Anyone who has had to deal with this user will realize that they will do this obsessively (such as every single month) and ping everyone involved. It's basically harassment. — SURJECTION ^{/ T / C / L /} 17:46, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Could someone please update global bans#Overturning a global ban decision to describe the correct process the stewards want to use for first-party global ban appeals then? This account is continuing disruption after being blocked on Commons for exactly the same kind of problems https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Administrators%27_noticeboard/User_problems&action=history&offset=20250321110500 .

I am not reverting the deletion of my comments for now, since this account will just keep doing it. A more thorough history of this account's problems is all presented in my comments deleted by this account. After getting blocked on Commons this account just migrated here to continue the problems cross-wiki.

Btw, the user talk page also has warnings about editing other users' comments. This has been also pointed out on Commons, but the warnings are apparently ignored.--RoyZuo (talk) 05:28, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

I removed your comment initially because the comment is a threat to me to ban me from editing any projects even if I get unblocked. which is not in good faith to any editors, especially what you are targeting with. All Wikimedians should assume unless evidence otherwise exists that others are here to collaboratively improve the projects, but this should not be used to justify statements with a harmful impact.
