Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

Add a talk section in mobile view

@Interstellarity you either have to wait until phab:T54165 gets implemented by the WMF or you need to follow the process described in Requesting wiki configuration changes (that's what enwiki, dewiki, and a few other wikis did). Promoting stewardVote to a gadget

User:Hoo man/stewardVote.js is loaded from MediaWiki:Common.js, so it technically is one already. Promoting it to a full-fledged gadget will help with load efficiency. Courtesy ping: @Hoo man.

As it is now, the script is always loaded for all logged-in users anyway (though only at vote pages). Controlling when to enable a gadget is as easy as removing and adding default. NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh 03:56, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

I tend to agree with xaosflux here. It may help with efficiency, but the maintainer isn't an interface admin. That said, though, they are a steward, and I see no reason why they wouldn't succeed in an RFIA. EggRoll97 (talk) 05:47, 7 February 2026 (UTC)

I may also use it to fix typos make minor formatting corrections and carry out small edits to improve the overall quality and consistency of the content. These are not large scale bot tasks. Global filter 131 optout: kowiki

Korean Wikipedia filter 1 does the exact same thing as Special:Abusefilter/131 — with slightly higher bar, and also allows for better local exception handling (ie. {{delete}} and equivalent local language handling).
