Nous avons organisé un Edit-A-Thon, qui aura lieu dans le cadre de la Foire du Livre de Francfort. La France est au centre de la Foire du Livre de Francfort cette année (Gastland). Nous organisons la rédaction et la traduction d'articles sur les auteurs entre Wikipédia germanophone et francophone.

Les frais de transport et d'hébergement sont pris en charge par WMDE. La Foire du Livre aura lieu du 11 au 15 octobre (deux jours de participation minimum)

Einladung zur

2015

Hallo Ptolusque,

Wir haben ein Edit-A-Thon organisiert, das im Rahmen der Frankfurter Buchmesse stattfinden wird. Frankreich steht im Mittelpunkt der diesjährigen Frankfurter Buchmesse (Gastland). Wir organisieren das Verfassen und Übersetzen von Artikeln über Autoren Und Literaturthemen zwischen der deutsch- und französischsprachigen Wikipedia.

Die Kosten für An/Abreise und Unterkunft trägt WMDE. Die Buchmesse findet vom 11. bis 15. Oktober statt. Mindestdauer für Teilnahme (wenn Anreise und Hotel organisiert via WMDE) ist zwei Tage.

Mentorenprogramm - Paid Mentoring

im Nachgang zu der umfänglichen Diskussion, startete heute, wie auf Wikipedia Diskussion:Mentorenprogramm angekündigt, um 12:00 Uhr die Abstimmung zur Frage des Paid Mentoring.

20. (Jubiläums-)Wikipedia-Treffen / +WAFtreff in Innsbruck am 12. Jänner 2018

Hallo Ptolusque!

OMG!!! Wir haben ein Jubiläum! Der kommende ist bereits der 20. Tiroler Stammtisch in Innsbruck und wird als +WAFtreff stattfinden, und zwar am 12. Jänner 2018 ab 10 Uhr. Wir planen eine geführte Krippen- und Museumstour 🎭, einen Besuch der Brauerei des Tiroler Bier inklusive Führung, einer anschließenden Bierverkostung 🍺 mit Brezenessen und einem Abendessen im Kulturgasthaus Bierstindl 🍴 (auf OpenStreetMap). Es ist auch möglich, erst um 15 Uhr dazuzustoßen oder sich nur dem Abendessen gegen voraussichtlich 19 Uhr anzuschließen.

Natürlich sind wie immer alle willkommen, die Wikipedia lesen, schreiben oder vielleicht auch noch nicht kennen Vorlage:Smiley/Wartung/:) ! Die Teilnahme am +WAFtreff wird von den 4 WM-Chaptern WMAT, WMDE, WMCH, WMIT gefördert.

Jugend-Foto-Workshop im Juni

Hallo,

ich schreibe dich an, weil ich dich als unter 25-jährige Person auf der Geburtstagsliste der Wikipedia gefunden habe und wir (Wikimedia Deutschland e. V.) Anfang Juni einen Foto-Workshop für unter 25-Jährige anbieten.

Dieser wird als Beitrag zum Europäischen Jahr des Kulturerbes „Sharing Heritage“ veranstaltet. WMDE bietet – neben anderen Workshops zum Denkmalschutz – einen Workshop an, der sich explizit an junge Menschen richtet (unter 25 Jahren). In diesem Workshop kannst du mit anderen interessierten jungen Wikipedianern und manchen, die es erst noch werden wollen, von professionellen Referenten lernen, wie du super Fotos von denkmalgeschützten Objekten machen kannst und diese auch gleich für den Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments in Deutschland (WLM) einsetzen kannst. Bring einfach deine eigenes Equipment mit: Von der kleinen Digi-Knipse über das Smartphone bis hin zur Spiegelreflexkamera, mit allen können gute Fotos für Wikimedia Commons gemacht werden.

Dir hat das Spaß gemacht und du willst mit anderen zusammen ebenfalls auf Fototour gehen? Dafür besprechen wir zum Schluss des Workshops gemeinsam miteinander, wie solch eine Veranstaltung auch bei dir um die Ecke einfach organisiert werden kann.

Auf nach Südtirol

Vom 11. bis 13. Mai 2018 lädt das WikiAlpenforum zu einem +WAFtreff in Südtirol ein. Und zwar ins schöne Pustertal, wo die öffentliche Bibliothek Toblach Gastgeber eines deutsch-italienischen Wikipedia-Editathons ist. Wir haben darüber hinaus noch etliche andere Programmpunkte vorbereitet. Geplant ist u. a. am Sonntag, den 13. Mai, eine Besichtigung des ältesten Kreuzwegs Tirols. Die Details legen wir in den nächsten Tagen fest. Das Treffen und die Teilnahme werden von WMDE gefördert. Wir laden dich herzlich ein zum ersten Südtiroler +WAFtreff, hier nochmal verlinkt auf Meta-Wiki, wo du dich gerne eintragen magst. Bitte gleich anmelden, damit wir uns zusammen mit WMDE um die Unterbringung kümmern können. Du kannst dich auch gerne erst am Samstag in das Programm einfädeln. Drei Wünsche Frei: Wonnemonat-Wünsche-Wechsel-Wochen im Mai 2018

Liebe Mitspielende bei Drei Wünsche frei. Um unserem Spiel neuen Schwung zu geben, haben wir für das Spiel die Wonnemonat-Wünsche-Wechsel-Wochen im Mai 2018 ausgerufen.

Bei dieser am 1. Mai 2018 beginnenden Aktion dürfen alle Mitspieler bei den eigenen Wünschen beliebig viele Wünsche, die bisher nicht reserviert worden sind, gegen neue Wünsche austauschen. Auch Jokerwünsche, die sich in der eigenen Liste angesammelt haben, dürfen gegen eigene Wünsche ausgewechselt werden. (Am besten in Absprache.)

Ausgetauscht werden dürfen außerdem reservierte Wünsche, deren Reservierung mehr als ein Jahr zurückliegt. Dies bitte in Absprache mit dem, der reserviert hat. (Vielleicht ist er/sie ja gerade fast fertig.)

Wer einen alt gewordenen Wunsch selbst aufgeben möchte, aber keinen neuen in Anspruch nehmen möchte, darf natürlich auch einen neuen Joker schaffen.

Dieser Frühjahrsputz darf sich auf den Zeitraum vom 1. bis 31. Mai 2018 erstrecken.

Wikipedia:Night of Science 2018

Einladung zur

Hallo Ptolusque,

anlässlich der Night of Science 2018, einer seit 2006 studentisch organisierten Veranstaltung an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, möchten wir neben einem naturwissenschaftlichen Vortrag mit Bezug zu Wikidata auch die Möglichkeit zum Dialog mit interessierten Besuchern und Gewinnung potentieller Neuautoren an einem Community-Stand nutzen. Die zu erwartenden ca. 7.000–10.000 Besuchenden sind sowohl interessierte Schüler, vor allem Abiturienten, Studierende und Wissenschaftler aller Fachbereiche sowie interessierte Anwohner und Bürger. Es gibt ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, Artikel zu anwesenden Wissenschaftlern und Instituten am Campus zu vervollständigen und zu bebildern, dazu gibt es Arbeitslisten.

Es wird ca. 70 Vorträge aus den Fachrichtungen Biochemie, Biophysik, Biowissenschaften, Chemie, Geowissenschaften/Meteorologie, Neurowissenschaften, Immunologie, Informatik, Mathematik, Medizin, Pharmazie, Physik und Psychologie geben.

Die Night of Science findet über die Nacht vom 08. Juni 17 Uhr – 09. Juni 5 Uhr statt.

Hallo, wir möchten dich herzlich zur WikiDACH 2018 in Heidelberg einladen und freuen uns sehr, wenn du den Weg zu uns findest.

Was ist die WikiDACH?

WikiDACH ist ein Barcamp für die Aktiven der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia-Projekte in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz, ihrer Schwesterprojekte und aller, die sich für Freies Wissen interessieren. Was ist ein Barcamp? Es gibt kein festgelegtes Programm, sondern alle Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit, sich mit einem Themenvorschlag (oder praktischer Hilfe vor Ort) einzubringen. Über das endgültige Programm stimmen alle Teilnehmer vor Ort ab. Weitere Infos findest du auf der Projektseite.

Was erwartet dich?

Es wird ein vielfältiges und originelles Programm geben - und weil es ein Barcamp ist, kannst du die Auswahl der Themen beeinflussen. In den letzten Jahren waren einige Highlights z.B. offene Naturführer, Wikipedia und Urheberrecht, Regiowikis, Mehrsprachigkeit in der Wikipedia, und und und... Neben der WikiDACH hast Du außerdem die Möglichkeit, am parallel stattfindenden Barcamp Rhein-Neckar teilzunehmen - zwei Veranstaltungen für ein Ticket!

Recent changes

• The design on Special:Log has changed. It will change again soon. Developers are working on fixing problems. [4]

Problems

• Deployment of 1.32.0-wmf.13 has been partially delayed. All deployments have been resumed and successfully done after bug fixes. [5][6]
• Deployment of 1.32.0-wmf.14 has been partially delayed. [7][8]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 31 Juli. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 1 August. It will be on all wikis from 2 August (calendar).

Meetings

• You can join the next meeting with the Editing team. During the meeting, you can tell developers which bugs you think are the most important. The meeting will be on 31 Juli at 18:30 (UTC). See how to join.
• You can join the technical advice meeting on IRC. During the meeting, volunteer developers can ask for advice. The meeting will be on 1 August at 15:00 (UTC) as well as at 23:00 (UTC). See how to join.

Future changes

• After a community discussion, a new group for users will be created. "Interface administrators" will be the only users allowed to edit interface pages like MediaWiki:Common.css or MediaWiki:Common.js. This is done to avoid technical issues and improve security. That change will be effective by the end of August 2018.

• (Serverkonfiguration) Wikimedia Commons unterstützt nun WebM-Videos im VP9-Format. Bestehende Videos werden automatisch nach und nach auf VP9 umgestellt. Das ursprünglich hochgeladene Video bleibt auf jeden Fall im Ursprungsformat erhalten. Eine Bitte an alle Botprogrammierer: Bitte keine massenhafte Umkonvertierung per Skript anstoßen. Weitere Informationen zur Umstellung: mw:Extension:TimedMediaHandler/VP9_transition (Phab:rOMWCc6b7c290835585674aa7558276c8f9730317b1d4).

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 21 August. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 22 August. It will be on all wikis from 23 August (calendar).

Future changes

• The 2018 Community Wishlist Survey begins on 29 October. The survey decides what the Community Tech team will work on. You can post proposals from 29 October to 11 November. You can vote on proposals from 16 November to 30 November.
• Legacy JavaScript global variables have been deprecated for seven years. They will soon be removed from all wikis. Gadgets and scripts that use them will stop working. You can test your community's gadgets on "group0" wikis. For example Test Wikipedia or mediawiki.org. The legacy JavaScript global variables are already disabled there. You can read the migration guide to fix old scripts. [14]
