Artist's conception of a terraformed Mars. This realistic portrayal is approximately centered on the prime meridian and 30 degrees north latitude, with the north polar cap at upper left, and a hypothesized ocean with a sea level at approximately two kilometers below average surface elevation. The ocean submerges what are now Vastitas Borealis, Acidalia Planitia, Chryse Planitia, and Xanthe Terra; the visible landmasses are Tempe Terra at left, Aonia Terra at bottom, Terra Meridiani at lower right, and Arabia Terra at upper right. Rivers that feed the ocean at lower right occupy what are now Valles Marineris and Ares Vallis, while the large lake at lower right occupies what is now Aram Chaos. (credit: Mathew Crisp).
In particular, this project will aim to provide well-sourced technical detail on these entries, drawing from the wide body of scientific and engineering research and commentary, with an emphasis on sources in peer-reviewed scientific literature; and providing context in terms of the idea of colonizing these planets in literature and the arts and as a subject of anthropological, cultural and sociological interest.

Bebiezaza (talk·contribs) - I'm interested in launch vehicles and satellites. I'm from Thailand, so I can be a Thai language translator. The objective now is to standardize between English page (main one, usually) and Thai page.
BM6 (talk·contribs) - Has been following spaceflight and astronomy since 2014. Curator & presenter at a space/science museum. Is an active member of the spaceflight community on Twitch (including KSP).
Bop34 (talk·contribs) - Just gonna fix grammar, spelling etc while reading about space exploration, although I'll write some stuff
CarlosFelix1 (talk·contribs) - I am fascinated by the history of Astronautics, space exploration and all the wonderful projects imagined, even the ones never accomplished.
James Denesuk (talk·contribs) - Tries to focus on older articles and give them expansion and updates, loves space in general. Also focuses mainly on the European Robotic Arm article as if it's his own child
LengthyMer (talk·contribs) - Love rocketry, space exploration and interested with increase accessibility to space. I usually check out and fix/add things if necessary. From Sarawak, Borneo.
Mameyn (talk·contribs) - Interested in fuels, engines, propulsion, and astronuclear
Marianoberna (talk·contribs) - Space nerd, particularly in the area of liquid fuel engines. Wikipedia has been great for me. Trying to give back a little.
markdask (talk·contribs) - I've been off Wikipedia for a while so rusty, but went on James Webb Telescope page and it's out of date so, hey I guess I'm back :).
Natalius (talk·contribs) - I love space and engineering so here I am. I'm mostly interested in NASA missions, I also play KSP.
Neopeius (talk·contribs) - Professional space historian and science fiction author. My specialty is the early automatic space program.
Nickrulercreator (talk·contribs) - Manned flights are my specialty. Model Rocket Enthusiast, strong supporter of manned space exploration/missions to Mars.
Orion.Project (talk·contribs) - Aerospace Engineering and Planetary Science Student focused on Satellites, Unmanned space exploration, and electric propulsion
Spaceman1234 (talk·contribs) - I have loved spaceflight for several years now and I desire to become an astronaut. I can really help with anything if asked.
The_Fiddly_Leprechaun (talk·contribs) - Special interest in deep space missions and human spaceflight, happy to do general cleanup. I'm active in fits and spurts.
This list includes those members of the project who have not edited for at least a year; it is manually updated on a periodic basis. If your name has been moved here, please feel free to move it back to the active members list upon your return. Jak474 (talk·contribs) - Watched the second to last launch (STS-132) of the last space shuttle to launch (Atlantis), and follow private space development.
mstachowsky (talk·contribs) - I have an interest in space mission architectures and space probes. I have a degree in space engineering, although I don't use it for much in my current job.
Mühendis ve bilim insanı yazarı kişi (talk·contribs) - I'm a big fan of space technologies and engineering work on this. As a student of mechanical engineering, I am very familiar with technical subjects.
ThePolarcub (talk·contribs) - NASA and SpaceX fanatic. Will help clean up Wikipedia when sees something that doesn't correspond. Loves Bitcoin and Dogecoin (also loves the stock market). Lives in Houston, Texas.
This project is focused on human colonization of space. It is not intended to cover robotic space exploration or historical manned spaceflight, or future activity analogous to historical manned spaceflight, i.e. minimal orbital space station or brief excursions to explore the Moon. Its scope begins with plans for more elaborate, hotel or hab type orbital space stations capable of permanent occupation by more than a handful of people at a time, and with plans for more elaborate human lunar expeditions capable of keeping humans on the Moon for months at a time. The scope goes up from there, to include human missions to Mars, up through terraforming, Dyson spheres, the Kardashev scale, etc.

Colonization of Titan—This one article out of the Colonization collection may be approaching a consensus to merge with Outer Solar System, at least for the time being. See discussion. (May 2006)
