Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Header

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Ca (talk | contribs) at 10:05, 3 November 2023 (This is shorter and more punchier imo). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.
Welcome—ask whether particular sources are reliable in context!

Before posting, check the archives and list of perennial sources for prior discussions of the source. The reliability of a source depends on its context; please supply the source, the article it is used in, and the claim it supports.

    Additional notes:
    • RFCs for deprecation, blacklisting, or other classification should not be opened unless the source is widely used and has been repeatedly discussed. Consensus is assessed based on the weight of policy-based arguments.
    • While the consensus of several editors can generally be relied upon, answers are not policy.
