Proposed for deletion (PROD): World Citizenship Award
[edit]FYI, the article World Citizenship Award has been proposed for deletion (WP:PROD). The first sentences summarize the subject this way:
"The World Citizenship Award is an award of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts(WAGGGS). Launched in 1996, the award is given to people outside the Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting movement who have contributed to a better world in at least one of the following areas - peace, environment, education, food and nutrition, health, and culture and heritage"
This article was rated in 2007 as being of top importance to WikiProject Scouting
The nominator wrote this summary of their concerns:
"For the life of me, I cannot find independent coverage of this award. Even the WAGGGS website doesn't mention it anymore! I find some trivial book mentions in the form of "so and so won X Y and Z awards", but no significant coverage of the award, its history, its creation, etc."
If you agree or disagree with deletion, there are instructions on the deletion notice for what to do.

Discussion about WikiProject banner templates
[edit]For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:
- "This article has been rated as Low-importance on the importance scale."
There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners.
