Need help with making an entry for American Fashion Podcast

[edit]

I previously created a page tracking all the episodes of American Fashion Podcast, but it was deleted "because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic." I spent several hours figuring out how to post and inputting all the information, so it was really frustrating to have it deleted. Most of what I compiled did get rebuilt as the Episodes List page on the AFP site.

That was several months ago, and the show is now up past 60 episodes with a ton of interviews with both famous designers and lesser known behind the scenes artists, entrepreneurs, and educators. There is now press coverage from Harper's Bazaar, Huffington Post, Bustle, American Manufacturing, and Put This On.

I'm admittedly not very good at editing Wikipedia, the complex syntax really throws me. I would like to get some help in putting it together again, but right this time. added by Fashiontechguru 9pm EST, 22 August 2015, updated 11:30am on 23 August 2015

Discussion about WikiProject banner templates

[edit]

For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:

There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners. Request for review: Updates to Lead + full "Organization" section for Copenhagen Fashion Week (COI)

[edit]

Hello WikiProject Fashion members,

I am requesting assistance with a COI edit request pending on [[Talk:Copenhagen Fashion Week]]. It has been in the backlog for 3 weeks.

I am proposing two specific changes based on high-quality secondary sources (Business of Fashion, Vogue Business, The Guardian):

  1. Lead Sentence: Updating the organizer name from "Danish Fashion Institute" to "Copenhagen Fashion Week."
  2. Organization Section: Requesting a full replacement of this section. The current text is outdated. My proposed text adds verifiable facts regarding the event's concurrent run with CIFF, the 2020 Sustainability Action Plan, and the updated mandatory criteria effective January 2025.

The full text and citations are formatted and ready to go on the Talk page.

Could an editor please review?
