This page, however, maintains an automatic list of the ongoing deletion discussions of the various WikiProjects, or their subpages, and serves as an one-stop destination for those who are only primarily interested in WikiProject-related MfDs.
There are currently 4 WikiProject-related MfDs ongoing.
Project that was recently "revived" for no reason. Single musicians almost never need a stand-alone project and even task forces would seem excessive for most cases. Gonnym (talk) 14:04, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- Mark as defunct as per the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide. No need to delete when there is a procedure for marking projects as defunct. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:14, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- Keep – This is a working draft project that aims to assist in organizing the improvement of Nicki Minaj-related articles, many of which are GA-class or part of a larger topic group. Even as a user-driven or draft project, it adds significant value. Sunrise In Brooklyn ✉ 00:09, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Latin music (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) – (View MfD)
Recently created project with no prior discussion anywhere. This can be handled directly by WP:WikiProject Women in Music. If deleted, please delete related categories and templates. Gonnym (talk) 14:02, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- Comment- I am the original editor for this Wikiproject. It is now an in-progress draft, not an active project page, and was purposefully placed in draft mode while being created. The ultimate goal is to establish a task force under Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Music and Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin music to address a specific systemic content gap: the underrepresentation of women in Latin music genres like reggaetón, salsa, bachata, cumbia, ranchera, and others. This is distinct from the broader Women in Music project since cultural, regional, and genre-specific coverage difficulties in Latin music are not satisfactorily handled elsewhere. The wikiproject is not yet marketed or used as an official project; it is still in development. I respectfully ask that the page be retained in draft mode to enable future development and collaboration with relevant WikiProjects. I welcome feedback and debate as it develops. - Comment - This project, as noted by its originator, is in a draft status. I will vote Keep unless a reason is provided why it should not be discussed while in draft status. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:07, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- It really isn't a draft. Sunrise has created dozens of categories and templates which will require cleaning up after them. A draft is only a project page and a talk page. But even that comes after a proposal to see if you have a group of editors. Sticking a draft template does not make it a draft. Gonnym (talk) 08:04, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
- Comment - This project does not have a project talk page. The activity of a WikiProject takes place on the project talk page. A talk page should be created with at least a project talk page header. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:09, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- Delete, undiscussed WikiProjecr created out of process. We already have WikiProject Women and WikiProject Latin music - why do we need a separate project for the intersection of these interests? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:19, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
Strong Keep – This is not a redundant or unnecessary project. While Wikipedia:WikiProject Women and Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin music exist, this project focuses specifically on the intersection of gender and genre: women in Latin music. Just as we have Women in hip hop, this WikiProject supports the improvement of content related to Latina artists, producers, composers, and contributors in a genre often dominated by men. Intersectional identities often go underrepresented in generalist projects, and this project helps correct systemic content gaps in coverage, sourcing, and notability. - Comment If nothing else, I'd say this project can be converted into a taskforce for the Latin music project if this project doesn't go through. Erick (talk) 15:55, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

An overly specific task force created by one participant in 2013, which has never been active since then, i.e. it never really worked as a task force. The only participant is placeholder. Solidest (talk) 18:27, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- Mark Historical - This task force had limited activity on its talk page. The talk page was then blanked and redirected to the parent task force. Revert the redirection. There was no need to hide the history, and redirecting a talk page is the wrong way to delete a dead task force. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:39, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

Unused userbox for defunct taskforce Solidest (talk) 17:19, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
- Was it ever used? It is annoying to find deleted Userboxes in Userpage histories. SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:01, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
