Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Database Report
Appearance
This report is created by moss code to help Guild coordinators identify articles in need of copy editing.
Suggested ways to get articles off this report:
- Appropriate for copyediting – tag article with {{copyedit}} and delete it from this list. Copy-paste tag for punctuation:
{{copy edit|for=spacing around punctuation}}
- Article needs heavy cleanup – tag article with {{cleanup}} and delete it from this list.
- Uses "you", "your", etc. a lot but not ready for copyedit – tag article with {{you}} and delete it from this list.
- Article not ready for copyedit but could use spelling fixes – two options:
- Move to the "Problem cases" section with a note and Beland will take care of it.
- Fix the typos with "." and "," in them. This will prevent the article from showing up on this report, but the other typos will automatically show up on moss main listings for the Typo Team to fix.
- Words flagged as typos appear to be real words, technical terminology, parts of titles or quotations, or foreign words: Move to the "Problem cases" section with a note and Beland will take care of it.
- Unsure or it's complicated: Move to the "Problem cases" section with a note and Beland will take care of it.

- 12 - Montbrayite - "Au,Sb", "Au,Ag", "Sb,Bi", "Te,Sb", "Bi,Pb", "Au,Sb"... – these seem parts of appropriate chemical formulas. Dhtwiki (talk) 05:58, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- 9 - Great Cobar mine - ..."platmen", "bracemen"..."platman", "7½d" – changed "platmen", first instance, to "flatman and his assistants" per source, but there are "plats"; could not find instance of "bracemen", but article seems careful in defining its terms, so I've left remainder unchanged; changed "7½d" to "7 1/2d" but not sure what is wrong with former when writing pre-decimal British coinage. Dhtwiki (talk) 22:16, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Dhtwiki: The character ½ is generally OK unless there are certain other fractions on the page, per MOS:FRAC. -- Beland (talk) 10:33, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

- 7 - Wisconsin Pavilion - ..."cheesemobile" [6 instances] – although a possibly latter-day (i.e. post 1960s) formulation, it is legitimized by at least one source. Dhtwiki (talk) 09:52, 30 November 2024 (UTC) (edited 03:18, 2 December 2024 (UTC))
- 7 - 2006 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony - ..."We're", "Don't", "It's", "You're"... – Contractions were all parts of song titles, albeit inconsistently punctuated (and I changed italics to double quotes). Dhtwiki (talk) 04:51, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
