Reason: Recent events regarding talent and the company has come to light recently and some fans have and will vandalize the article. Asking for a few days to a week. Thank you. WashuOtaku (talk) 03:49, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Only one instance of vandalism recently and the IP has been blocked. Daniel Case (talk) 18:30, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. — TAnthonyTalk 04:01, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
User(s) blocked: 2605:8D80:13B1:1A12:0:0:0:0/64 (talk · contribs) blocked by Ponyo. for two weeks. Daniel Case (talk) 18:32, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent, repeated nonsense edits by IP since early June. The IPs - likely an IP-hopping JackDawson00 attempting to evade their block - change single words or short expressions for no discernable reason (e.g. changing "which" to "that"), and try to remove links to Harvard University from other uni pages.
Their edit summaries normally start with a small set of nonsense verbs (e.g. "deject", "crafting", "disjudged" etc.). This follows a similar pattern to other university pages, such as University of Edinburgh, University of Cambridge, King's College London, etc. Oxford has been protected, but the other ones have not. Cambridge saw 10+ edits just on the day the last protection ran out. — Arcaist (contr—talk) 12:33, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Persistent addition of unsourced content over the last few weeks. JuniperChill (talk) 12:35, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protected for a period of one month, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Case (talk) 18:52, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Temporary semi-protection. Recent edit warring by an IP-hopping editor. It might be more appropriate to temporarily block the editor; they're on range 2604:2D80:9493:F600:0:0:0:0/64. It appears this range has been blocked a few times in the past for disruptive editing. Barry Wom (talk) 13:33, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Declined – Warn the user appropriately then report them to AIV or ANI if they continue. I gave them a first warning. Daniel Case (talk) 19:29, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Source keeps editing results to incorrect numbers and when others change it back, they keep re-editing to the incorrect data with no source cited. Bigsandy2024 (talk) 15:09, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Daniel Case (talk) 19:31, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Semi-protection. Since at least August 2024 an IP hopping SPA has been attemping to add an unreferenced claim about her having a son, including twice in the last seven days. FDW777 (talk) 15:17, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protected for a period of 10 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Case (talk) 19:33, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Temporary extended confirmed protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Slow-motion edit war that apparently originated on X. Recent editors are likely evading blocks (guessing just based on the article history and age of the new accounts). Some OR and LLM abuse in the article history and on the talk. No one involved seems to care about the topic of the article, which is a seed, not an ethnic or linguistic group. Thanks. Patrick 🐈⬛ (talk) 15:30, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite extended-confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement. Arbpia RaschenTechner (talk) 15:45, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – immediate resumption after last protect expired. Same dynamic IP sock as before. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:33, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Please protect this article with ECP protection per Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups because article has been targeted by multiple sock-groups including: (Astore Malik, مشرا, & Pr0pulsion). Previous Auto confirm failed to protect the article from disruption by these sock groups. You can check page history from 2022 to 2025 article remained main target for these socks I can provide diff/links if needed. Sybercracker (talk) 17:04, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Repeated disruptive edits surrounding MOS:DERRY, vandalism amid current tournament participation, seven prior instances in protection log. Greenflipper (talk) 18:37, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protected for a period of one month, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Will leave CTOPS notice on talk. Daniel Case (talk) 19:36, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Frequent vandalism and unsourced additions from numerous accounts and IP users. Signed, SleepyRedHair. (talk - contribs) 19:25, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Request 48-hour gold lock due to high volume of edits, including error-riddled edits, due to his death earlier pbp 20:02, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Anonymous users continually readd supposedly notable residents (suspected of being their own family, based on activity on other sites). These additions have been removed by many other registered users and a thread on the Talk page has been opened and ignored. Larkmarn (talk) 20:07, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. But... I will keep an eye on this going forward. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 20:10, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
