Image is asserted to be under a CC license but the source page states that the image's copyright status is unknown. Whpq (talk) 16:20, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question Is relicensing this as PD possible? It's an NZ-exclusive work taken in 1960. Owner of Crown Studios at the time (and I presume photographer), Francis Thompson, died in 1977. c:Commons:Copyright rules by territory/New Zealand says that copyright term is 50 years pma so assuming Thompson is the photographer, the copyright in New Zealand does not expire until 2027. Whpq (talk) 12:56, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
