File:CrazySexyCool92.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Mcelite (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This non-free image is being claimed for use as means of visual identification at the top of the article for Lisa Lopes. However, File:LisaLopesImg.jpg is serves that purpose and this image is actually being used in the section of the article on Lopes work with TLC. It's use is decorative and fails WP:NFCC#8. As well, File:TLCgroup.jpg already is used in the article about the group (TLC (group)) so this usage is also contrary to WP:NFCC#3a. Whpq (talk) 14:28, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - I failed to read the text and image caption - I automatically assumed it was just a group photo, Anyway IMHO yhe image should be cropped just on her but given there's a whole paragraph on her Left eye I feel an accompanying image would help the reader I guess understand what she looked like with the patch, IMHO it's serving a useful purpose so obvious keep. –Davey2010Talk 15:45, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Partly done - Cropped the image but there's no need for it to be used in the nfobox - Next to the paragraph about her eye is IMHO sufficient. –Davey2010Talk 17:30, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree about the infobox. This image can be used for both primary visual identification in the infobox and support the material about the eye. -- Whpq (talk) 17:37, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I unfortunately disagree - Readers would want to read the content and view the image at the same time - No one's going to want to scroll up and down repeatedly, It's also worth noting with the infobox image she has both eyes visible although her hair covers it up but it's not actually covered so in that respect we have an image with a patch and the other without (although as I said her hair covers a good 95% of it up) so I feel both images help our reader, Many thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:47, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't need to be used for identification - The image is being displayed next to a whole paragraph which IMHO is sufficient, The image isn't a stage persona - This is how they were dressed in those days well it was fashion I guess, –Davey2010Talk 02:22, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe keepAfter doing some digging this is actually the singer Lil Mama portraying Lopes they did an extremely good job of portraying her, I'm not sure if in the description it should be stated that the image is a demonstration of how Left Eye dressed because that is extremely accurate, and it is iconic because that is why she was called Left Eye.Mcelite (talk) 21:08, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
[[User:|]] good find!, Yeah image description on google states "Drew Sidora (T-Boz), Lil Mama (Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes), Keke Palmer (Chilli)" so as such this should obviously be deleted seeing as it's not her, They look so alike it's weird!, Anyway can't be arsed to flaff around up top but Delete as it's not Lisa herself. –Davey2010Talk 02:22, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
