- File:Beckmann Rearrangement.tif (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Daniblanco (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Redundant to multiple raster and vector images already on commons in commons:Category:Beckmann rearrangement (for example, File:BeckmannRearrangement3.svg). Could send it to commons, but then it seems likely to fail commons:COM:DR there for same reason. DMacks (talk) 02:26, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- High res/quality image, but TIF is a non-preferred file type. For me, both deletion and moving to Commons (as a PNG) would be fine. --Leyo 07:51, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Commons already has:
- as high-res png. DMacks (talk) 12:14, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

- File:Ditolylguanidine molecule.svg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Fuse809 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Tagged for 46 days for layout problems: methyl on lower ring looks like bond to the amine group. Could rotate the whole molecule (so the "NH2" is directed differently?) or else rotate the tolyl groups so the methyls are away from the amine. See layouts such as commons:File:1,3-Ditolylguanidine.svg and commons:File:Ditolylguanidine.png for ideas... Given we have less-confusing replacements, we don't need this one (especially not a local copy). DMacks (talk) 02:31, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

- File:Flag of the President of the Philippines.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by WayKurat (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Duplicate of File:Flag of the President of the Philippines.svg in PNG format. The PNG version is under FFD at Commons as well for the same reason. Not much need for a nearly exact duplicate in fixed-size raster format. —Willscrlt ( Talk | com | b:en | meta ) 05:46, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Comment does the SVG version qualify for commons? The version here on ENwiki uses a fair-use rationale, because it's PD in the Philippines, but possibly not in the United States. -- 70.24.244.158 (talk) 07:09, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
- It's a work of the Philippine government, so it should also be PD in the United States. (To note, all works in Category:Works of the Philippines government should be moved to Commons.) --Sky Harbor (talk) 04:49, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
- Commons and Wikipedia disagree about works by the Philippine government. Commons considers them to be free (see Commons:Template:PD-PhilippinesGov) but Wikipedia considers them as unfree (see Template:Non-free Philippines government). Both templates have been kept in deletion discussions on both projects. --Stefan2 (talk) 14:02, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
- If my memory serves me right, we (as in WP:PINOY) were not notified of this deletion discussion, but we were notified of the discussion on Commons about the templates over there. I would however disagree with Geni's reasoning on keeping the English Wikipedia's template: the Commons discussion clearly says that the IPO prohibits the registration of works of the Philippine government for copyright protection. --Sky Harbor (talk) 01:09, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

- Delete as orphaned and useless — there is no reason to use this image when we have a better svg image. The discussion of the svg on commons seems to have closed and the image is still there. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:47, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
