The only purpose sufficient under NFCC#8 that is served by this image is to show how the round is actually played with the blank spaces, the tile selector, and the clock. Geometrically confusing. Wedges are usually used for stereocenters or other key 3D ideas, but here they are used on the nonstereocenter positions. And a stereocenter is drawn ambiguously (the N either needs to be "up" or "down" compared to the six-membered ring). Have File:Oppolzer_sultam.svg that clearly has the N up (I confirmed this is correct in [Tetrahdron 49 293] and uses wedges in a more standard manner for key 3D perspective of the structure.
